End of Watch: April 2, 2021

While on post at the North Barricade, Officer Billy Evans and a colleague were attacked by a lone assailant with his vehicle. Officer Evans succumbed to the injuries that he sustained defending the Congress and the Capitol Building. A native of Massachusetts and the father of two, he was a member of the United States Capitol Police for 18 years, and served in the First Responder’s Unit.
