Sergeant Clinton Holtz suffered a medical emergency following an assault investigation involving uncooperative witnesses. He returned to his office when he collapsed. Sergeant Holtz had served with the United States Capitol Police for 11 years, five of which were spent on former-Speaker John Boehner’s protective detail.
