UNITED STATES CAPITOL POLICE ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF NEW PUBLIC INFORMATION OFFICER

The United States Capitol Police (USCP) announce today that effective November 13, 2012, Officer Shennell Antrobus will be appointed to the position of Public Information Officer (PIO). Officer Antrobus will replace Lieutenant Kimberly Schneider who has served as the PIO since November 2005.

Lieutenant Schneider started her career with the USCP in 2000 and has worked on the Senate Division, House Division and Command Center. She was promoted to Lieutenant in March 2012. Officer Antrobus started his career with the USCP in 2008 at the Capitol Visitors Center. He also worked on the House Chamber Section (Capitol Division), before his appointment as PIO in the Office of the Chief.
