| DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE - 4TH OFFENSE + POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL -VEHICLE PERMIT REVOKED-OAR | 1:41:00 | 250516001618 | R/O observed a vehicle positioned in two lanes while stopped at a green light at the intersection of Columbus Circle and First Street NE. Upon approach, R/O located the driver asleep at at the wheel. A traffic stop was initiated at the same location. While speaking with the Suspect, R/O detected a faint odor of alcohol emanating from the Suspect's breath. Additionally, the Suspect exhibited slurred speech and responded slowly to questions. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect's permit was revoked in DC, MD, and VA. SFSTs conducted - due to numerous signs of impairment, Suspect arrested - processed at HQ. Open container of alcoholic beverage found under the passenger seat. | |
| SIMPLE ASSAULT + THREATS TO DO BODILY HARM-MISD TRAFFIC-DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS | 18:35:00 | 240802002028 | R/O observed two individuals engaged in a physical altercation in the 200 Block of Second Street SW. A/Os arrived on scene and separated both parties. S2 stated that S1 became upset, started yelling loudly and hit S2 in the head and neck area by force, with a closed fist. S2 had a mark on the right cheek that was consistent with being struck. Due to the visible markings on S2 face, S1 was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. While being handcuffed S2 made threatening statements to do physical harm to S1 at home. A/O spoke with S1 who stated that they had a drink earlier in the day. A/O detected a moderate odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from S1's breath. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, S1 was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. Crime Scene responded to processing to photograph the injuries. | |
| UNLAWFUL ENTRY OF A MOTOR VEHICLE - MISD + ADDITIONAL CHARGES: THEFT IN THE SECOND DEGREE (THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE) FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE | 23:50:00 | 230903002029 | R/O responded for a report of a vehicle that was broken into in an alleyway located behind the 300 Block of First Street SE. The investigation revealed that two Suspects had broken the rear passenger window of the vehicle and that one Suspect had climbed into the vehicle. Both Suspects fled the scene on foot. A canvas for the Suspects was negative. CSS responded and processed the scene. | |
| ASSAULT ON A POLICE OFFICER - MISDEMEANOR + ADDITIONAL CHARGES: CROWING OBSTRUCTING INCOMMODING DC CODE 22-1307 | 16:17:00 | 231018002420 | R/O responded to a House Office Building Rotunda for a demonstration. R/O ordered the Suspect to take down an unauthorized banner hanging in the area. After several warnings, while the Suspect was being placed in handcuffs, the suspect resisted arrest and was trying to pull away multiple times. The suspect was transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| CROWDING, OBSTRUCTING, OR INCOMMODING + RESISTING ARREST | 10:49:00 | 250520001665 | R/Os observed three individuals shouting and yelling during a committee hearing in the Dirksen Senate Office Building. After several warnings, the individuals refused to stop their demonstration activity. While attempting to place the third Suspect under arrest, the Suspect became physically resistant by kicking their legs. The Suspects were placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS + RESISTING ARREST | 21:16:00 | 250520001684 | R/O observed a vehicle traveling southbound in the 600 Block of Third Street NE with no headlights illuminated. A traffic stop was conducted in the 400 Block of Second Street NE. While speaking with the Suspect, R/O noticed the Suspect's speech was delayed and appeared to be in a daze. SFSTs were administered. Due to numerous signs of impairment, R/O attempted to place the Suspect under arrest who resisted by pulling their arms away while being handcuffed. The Suspect was subsequently apprehended. An inventory search of the vehicle revealed marijuana and related paraphernalia. Suspect was transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| FLEE LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER + LEAVING AFTER COLLIDING | 22:13:00 | 20250509001511 | R/O observed a vehicle with the expiration date scraped from the tag in the 600 Block of South Capitol Street SE. A WALES/NCIC check on the vehicle's tag returned expired. A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 Block of E Street SE. While waiting for a tow truck to arrive, the Suspect put the vehicle in drive and fled the scene at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was later located in the 300 Block of E Street SE. A witness stated the Suspect collided with a tree and a curb at that location. A canvass for the Suspect was met with negative results. CSS responded and processed the scene. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate. | |

A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of Independence Avenue SW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect and vehicle revealed no valid permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. It also revealed the tags expired in April of 2022 despite having a 2025 sticker in the corner of the tag. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle's tag revealed that it belonged to a different vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted at the same location. During the stop, the Suspect was unable to provide R/O with a physical driver's license. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect did not have a valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to headquarters for processing. | |

A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 Block of Independence Avenue SE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia, and also an active warrant from the District of Columbia Superior Court. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. |
