CROWDING, OBSTRUCTING, OR INCOMMODING 11:10:00 250115000124 R/O responded to a Senate Office Building for a report of disorderly conduct. R/O observed the suspect being disruptive by causing unreasonable fear in a committee hearing. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 22:00:00 240408000000 R/O observed a vehicle displaying an expired registration sticker stopped at a red light at the intersection of Louisiana and New Jersey Avenues NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of Louisiana Avenue NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed the individual had no permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
AGGRAVATED ASSAULT + SPEEDING AND RECKLESS DRIVING 15:50:00 250826002776 R/O responded to a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle in the 600 Block of Third Street NE. Upon arrival, R/O discovered both the Complainant and driver of the vehicle involved in the accident. The Complainant stated they were initially inside the vehicle arguing with the driver when they demanded to be let out upon feeling unsafe due to the speed they were travelling. As the Complainant exited the vehicle and attempted to retrieve their belongings, the driver pulled away, knocking the Complainant to the ground and driving over their left hand in the process. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded to process the scene. CIS was advised of the offense.
CONTEMPT - CONDITION OF RELEASE VIOLATION 11:19:00 250914002964 R/O observed an individual known to have an active stay away order that included U.S. Capitol Grounds walking in the 100 block of East Capitol Street NE. A stop was subsequently conducted at First and East Capitol Streets NE. Once Communications verified the stay away order and its parameters, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
CROWDING, OBSTRUCTING OR INCOMMODING 13:20:00 250129000258 R/O responded to Room SDG-50 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building for the report of demonstrating. The Suspects were observed screaming to disrupt and halt the congressional proceeding. The Suspects were given warnings to cease and desist their demonstration activities, but failed to stop. The Suspects were placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE-1ST OFF, NO PERMIT-2ND OFFENSE, RESISTING ARREST, POSSESSION OF AN OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL 2:35:00 260517001607 R/O observed a vehicle accelerate at a high rate of speed. R/O noticed his speedometer was at 35 mph in a 25 mph zone in the 100 Block of Third Street, NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 300 Block of Constitution Avenue, NW. R/O observed an open bottle of alcohol on the rear passenger-side floorboard. R/O could smell a moderate odor of alcohol emanating from the suspect's breath. A WALES/NCIC check of the suspect revealed the suspect's license was expired in the District of Columbia and showed no status in Maryland or Virginia. The suspect refused SFSTs. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. The suspect resisted while being placed in handcuffs and while being placed in the transport vehicle.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE-1ST OFF, POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL - VEHICLE NO PERMIT 1:35:00 260518001612 R/O observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed in the 400 Block of South Capitol Street SW. R/O followed where they then observed the vehicle pass through a solid red light and continue onto the 200 Block of Independence Avenue SW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 300 Block of Independence Avenue SW. Upon approach, R/O recognized multiple signs of impairment such as the smell of an odor consistent with an alcoholic beverage emitting from the vehicle as well as bloodshot eyes. R/O also observed what appeared to be an open bottle of alcohol in the front cup holder. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a suspended driving status in Virginia and no driving status in the District of Columbia or Maryland. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
LEAVING AFTER COLLIDING 15:38:00 241125003032 R/O was dispatched to the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE for the report of a traffic crash. Upon arrival, the Complainant stated a vehicle struck the rear of their vehicle and fled eastbound on Massachusetts Avenue NE. An immediate canvass of the area for the Suspect was met with negative results. CSS responded and processed the scene. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate.
NO PERMIT 20:14:00 240423000968 R/O observed a motorcycle, with no tag displayed, driving westbound in the eastbound lane in the Unit Block of Independence Avenue SW. A traffic stop was conducted in the same location. A WALES/NCIC check on the Suspect revealed no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to HQ for processing.
NO PERMIT 2:53:00 251031003365 R/O observed a vehicle commit multiple traffic offenses. A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 block of D Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check revealed a suspended Maryland driver's license with no valid driving status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
