No Permit + Fail To Exhibit License | DCC 50DC1401.01 | DCC 50DC1401.01 | DCC 50DC1401.01 (D) 19:41:00 240120000123 R/O observed a vehicle driving westbound in the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE displaying an expired Maryland tag. R/O conducted a traffic stop at the same location. The Suspect was unable to provide a valid driver's permit. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
Theft In The Second Degree (Theft From Building) | USC 37SUSC708-831 10:00:00 2.40214E+11 R/O responded to a report of a theft from a room in a Senate Office building. The Complainant stated they left their glasses on the desk in the office and when they returned they were gone. An immediate canvass of the area was met with negative results. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY - MISD + ADDITIONAL CHARGE: DEFACING GOVERNMENT PROPERTY 17:15:00 231109002607 R/O observed six individuals demonstrating near a room in the Russell Senate Office Building. R/O also observed the words written with a red substance on the mirror and wall of the office. R/O advised the Suspects that the building closed at 1700 hours and that they needed to leave. The Suspects did not comply with R/O directions to leave the building. The Suspects were placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene.
ADW - BLADED WEAPON 12:28:00 220823001282 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: ASSAULT ON A POLICE/FIRE - FELONY; THEFT II; PUBLIC INTOXICATION; SIMPLE ASSAULT DC CODE 22-2404; PPW-B-MISD; RESISTING ARREST R/O was flagged down for an assault in the 600 block of D Street, NW. The Complainant stated that the Suspect had exited his establishment with a glass belonging to the Complainant. When the Complainant attempted to recover his property, the Suspect became irate and threw the glass at the Complainant. R/O attempted to make a stop on the Suspect at the intersection of Fifth Street and Indiana Avenue, NW, when the Suspect brandished a knife. When R/O attempted to place the Suspect in handcuffs, the Suspect became combative and caused R/O to fall to the ground and sustaining injuries. R/O also detected an odor of alcohol emitting from the Suspect's breath. During a search of the Suspect by the Assisting Officer (A/O), the Suspect attempted to bite A/O several times. CSS responded, processed the scene, and took possession of the weapon. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
ADW - BLADED WEAPON 16:34:00 220919001433 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: ROBBERY; THREATS TO DO BODILY HARM R/O responded to the 100 block of First Street, NW, for the report of a man with a knife who threatened to harm the Complainant. After arriving on the scene, R/O observed a person matching the descriptionof the Suspect given by the Complainant. A stop was conducted in the same location, and with aid of the A/Os, the Suspect was placed in handcuffs. The Complainant stated that the Suspect began following him demanding money. When the Complainant refused, the Suspect brandished a knife and began to threaten him. A canvas of the area was conducted and a knife matching the description was found. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene.
ADW - BLADED WEAPON 16:20:00 220628000938 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE R/O responded to the 600 block of First Street, NE, for a report of a man with a knife. The Complainant approached GPO Police Officers and stated the Suspect attempted to stab him and his family members. The Suspect was observed fleeing northbound into the 400 block of New Jersey Avenue, NW. The Suspect was detained in the same location. During a pat down, a folded knife was discovered in the Suspect's pocket. A show-up was conducted and yielded a positive identification. R/O conducted a WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect, which revealed an active warrant out of Prince George's County, Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene.
ADW - BLADED WEAPON 15:52:00 230919002161 R/O responded to the 200 Block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE for a report of an assault. The Complainant stated the Suspect lunged at her with a sharp metal object and the walked westbound in the 100 Block of Independence Avenue SE. R/O broadcast a lookout. A canvas of the area was met with negative results. A razor was located near the area. A/O responded and processed the scene. S/A was notified and will continue the investigation.
ADW - BLADED WEAPON + ADDITIONAL CHARGE: THEFT I 00:28:00 230911002079 R/O observed an individual screaming for help while pursuing another in the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NW. R/O made contact with the Complainant who stated the Suspect stole their phone and waved a knife at them. R/O pursued and detained the Suspect in the Unit Block of F Street NW. A search for the knife was conducted with negative results. R/O conducted a showup, and the Complainant positively identified the Suspect. CSS responded and processed the scene. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
ADW - BLADED WEAPON + ADDITIONAL CHARGES: FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE 02:18:00 230908002066 R/O responded to the 100 Block of C Street NE for the report for an assault. The Victim reported to A/O the individual that assaulted him was located on a bench in the same Block. R/O responded to the Suspect's location and witnessed the Suspect toss a black folding knife to the ground. A/O-2 and A/O-3 responded to the scene and during further investigation they noticed two lacerations under the Victim's right jawline and abrasions on the back of the head. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed an extraditable warrant from the U.S. Marshals Service, which was confirmed through USCP Communications. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate.
ADW - BRICK 10:59:00 221107001723 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: ASSAULT ON A POLICE OFFICER - MISDEMEANOR; RESISTING ARREST; UNLAWFUL ENTRY OF A MOTOR VEHICLE - MISD; DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY - UNDER $1000 - MISD; BENCH WARRANT - MISDEMEANOR R/O responded to the report of a disorderly individual at the intersection of Fourth Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, SE. Upon arrival, R/O witnessed the Suspect fighting with two Officers. Once the Suspect was detained, a Complainant came forward stating he observed the Suspect inside his vehicle. After getting the Suspect to exit, the Suspect threw a brick at the Complainant's vehicle damaging the driver's side rear window. R/O conducted a WALES/NCIC check via word of mouth, which revealed the Suspect had an active misdemeanor Bench Warrant out of the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene.
