TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 00:39:00 220224000241 R/O observed a vehicle matching the description of a lookout traveling westbound in the 200 block of Independence Avenue, SW, stop abruptly in the middle of the intersection. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 700 block of Independence Avenue, SW. Upon approach, R/O detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's breath and person. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 15:17:00 220224000244 R/O observed a vehicle displaying expired tags while traveling northbound in the 200 block of Third Street, NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle tags confirmed they were expired. A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 block of Third Street, SW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect's identification revealed his Maryland driver's permit was suspended with no status in the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE 07:32:00 220225000245 R/O responded to a radio call for a name check of a person in the Fairchild Building. R/O conducted a WALES/NCIC check on the Suspect, which revealed the Suspect had an extraditable warrant out of Fauquier County. After confirmation by USCP Communications, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 02:16:00 220227000255 ADDITIONAL CHARGE: POSSESSION OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL - POCA R/O observed a vehicle parked partially in the roadway and on the sidewalk in the 200 block of E Street, SW. R/O conducted a traffic stop and approached the Suspect, who seemed to be unconscious. R/O smelled an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's breath, and later observed an alcoholic bottle on the floorboard. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
ADW - OTHER WEAPON 09:06:00 220222800259 ADDITIONAL CHARGE: THREATS TO DO BODILY HARM-MISD R/O responded to Fourth Street and North Carolina Avenue, SE, for an assault. Upon arrival, R/O observed an NYPD Officer who had detained a Suspect. The Suspect, who had a knife, assaulted another individual in the 400 block of Seward Square, SE. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 16:10:00 220302000283 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: TRAFFIC - MISUSE OF TAGS; POSS OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL - VEHICLE R/O observed a vehicle with temporary tags and a missing front bumper parked in the 600 block of New Jersey Avenue, NW. R/O conducted a WALES/NCIC check on the tags, which returned that they were not on file. The Suspect drove to the100 block of Massachusetts Avenue, NE, where R/O-2 initiated a traffic stop. While speaking with the Suspect, R/O detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's breath. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 13:54:00 220302000282 R/O observed a vehicle traveling eastbound in the unit block of Columbus Circle, NE, with an expired tag. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the unit block of Columbus Circle, NE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect did not have a valid driver's permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 22:15:00 220303000292 R/O responded to the 300 block of New Jersey Avenue, SE, for a vehicle stopped in the roadway at a closed USCP barricade. A traffic stop was conducted at New Jersey Avenue and C Street, SE. While speaking with the Suspect, R/O detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's breath, slurred speech, and impaired coordination. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE 11:19:00 220303000288 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID; UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A VEHICLE; POSSESSION PROHIBITED WEAPON; THEFT FIRST DEGREE (STOLEN AUTO); SIMPLE ASSAULT R/O was alerted by an LPR hit of a stolen vehicle located at Third Street and Independence Avenue, SW. R/O located the vehicle traveling eastbound in the 500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, occupied by two Suspects. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle tag was confirmed stolen. A traffic stop was conducted in the 1100 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, SE. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed an expired permit, an extraditable warrant through Maryland State Police, and pending offenses for auto theft and simple assault against a family member. While conducting an inventory search of the passenger, R/O-2 located a weapon on the Suspect's left wrist. CSS responded and processed the scene. The Suspects were placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 02:57:00 220303000287 ADDITIONAL CHARGE: POSS OPEN COTAINER OF ALCOHOL - POCA R/O observed the Suspect stopped in the center lane through an entire light cycle while in the Third Street Tunnel. A traffic stop was initiated at Second and D Streets, NW. While speaking to the Suspect, R/O smelled an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's breath, and observed a cup with an alcoholic beverage inside the vehicle. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
