A WALES/NCIC check of the tag revealed no return on file. The Suspect was unable to provide a physical driver's license but claimed to have one. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

A traffic stop was attempted in the 600 Block of South Capitol Street SW, at which time the Suspect fled northbound, ran through several solid red lights, and abruptly stopped in the 400 Block of South Capitol Street SE. During the stop, A/O observed the Suspect to be extremely fidgety, with bloodshot and watery eyes, and a moderate smell of alcohol coming from inside the vehicle. A/O arrived on scene, and performed SFSTs. Due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
