DISORDERLY CONDUCT - MISD DC CODE 22-1321 16:55:00 220924001478 ADDITIONAL CHARGE: U.S. CAPITOL - DEMONSTRATING PROHIBITIONS CONCERNING GROUPS UNDER TWENTY R/O responded to a radio call for assistance at a permitted demonstration located at First Street and Constitution Avenue, NE. R/O met with the A/O on the scene who had already informed the Suspect multiple times that they needed to leave the area or they would be placed under arrest. The Suspect continued to refuse to leave. The Suspect was then placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
ADW - OTHER WEAPON 09:06:00 220222800259 ADDITIONAL CHARGE: THREATS TO DO BODILY HARM-MISD R/O responded to Fourth Street and North Carolina Avenue, SE, for an assault. Upon arrival, R/O observed an NYPD Officer who had detained a Suspect. The Suspect, who had a knife, assaulted another individual in the 400 block of Seward Square, SE. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 23:40:00 220429000564 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: TRAFFIC - MISUSE OF TAGS R/O observed a vehicle traveling southbound on New Jersey Avenue, SE, pass through a red traffic signal. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of Eye Street, SE. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect's registration revealed it was expired, the tags had been surrendered, and the Suspect had no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Virginia, or Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
ASSAULT ON A POLICE/FIRE - FELONY DC CODE 22-405 15:29:00 220706000989 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: ADW - OTHER WEAPON (MOLOTOV COCKTAIL); POSSESSION OF A DESTRUCTIVE DEVICE; RESISTING ARREST R/Os responded to the unit block of Massachusetts Avenue, NW, for a report of a male with a Molotov cocktail. R/Os arrived on scene and observed the Suspect attempting to ignite a glass bottle containing a colored liquid with a piece of white cloth stuffed into the bottle's opening. Upon approach, the Suspect refused all verbal commands, and attempted to flee westbound on Massachusetts Avenue away from the Officers. The Suspect became violently combative, and both R/Os were bitten during the arrest. During the search incident to arrest, a two-liter soda bottle with translucent liquid consistent with the appearance and odor of gasoline were found inside the Suspect's bag. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene.
FELONY THREATS 09:07:00 220722001098 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: AGGRESSIVE PANHANDLING; DISORDERLY CONDUCT - MISD DC CODE 22-1321 R/O observed the Suspect following the Complainant in the unit block of E Street, NW. The Complainant entered a vehicle in an attempt to get away from the Suspect. Further investigation revealed that the Complainant was approached by the Suspect asking for money in the 500 block of New Jersey Avenue, NW. When the Complainant refused to give the Suspect money, the Suspect began making violent threats against the Complainant. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory search, a folding tactical knife was recovered from the Suspect's pocket. CSS responded and processed the scene.
ADW - BRICK 10:59:00 221107001723 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: ASSAULT ON A POLICE OFFICER - MISDEMEANOR; RESISTING ARREST; UNLAWFUL ENTRY OF A MOTOR VEHICLE - MISD; DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY - UNDER $1000 - MISD; BENCH WARRANT - MISDEMEANOR R/O responded to the report of a disorderly individual at the intersection of Fourth Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, SE. Upon arrival, R/O witnessed the Suspect fighting with two Officers. Once the Suspect was detained, a Complainant came forward stating he observed the Suspect inside his vehicle. After getting the Suspect to exit, the Suspect threw a brick at the Complainant's vehicle damaging the driver's side rear window. R/O conducted a WALES/NCIC check via word of mouth, which revealed the Suspect had an active misdemeanor Bench Warrant out of the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene.
CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES ACT 05:18:00 220602000756 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: ASSAULT ON A POLICE OFFICER - MISDEMEANOR; SIMPLE ASSAULT; FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE R/O responded to the 200 block of Independence Avenue, SW, for an assault investigation in which the Suspect struck another individual. As the Suspect was retrieving identification from her purse, R/O observed a glass vile containing a liquid substance, and smelled a chemical odor consistent with PCP. While attempting to place the Suspect under arrest, the Suspect became combative, and subsequently spat on R/O-2. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had an active warrant out of Virginia. The Suspect was transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene.
ADW - BLADED WEAPON 12:28:00 220823001282 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: ASSAULT ON A POLICE/FIRE - FELONY; THEFT II; PUBLIC INTOXICATION; SIMPLE ASSAULT DC CODE 22-2404; PPW-B-MISD; RESISTING ARREST R/O was flagged down for an assault in the 600 block of D Street, NW. The Complainant stated that the Suspect had exited his establishment with a glass belonging to the Complainant. When the Complainant attempted to recover his property, the Suspect became irate and threw the glass at the Complainant. R/O attempted to make a stop on the Suspect at the intersection of Fifth Street and Indiana Avenue, NW, when the Suspect brandished a knife. When R/O attempted to place the Suspect in handcuffs, the Suspect became combative and caused R/O to fall to the ground and sustaining injuries. R/O also detected an odor of alcohol emitting from the Suspect's breath. During a search of the Suspect by the Assisting Officer (A/O), the Suspect attempted to bite A/O several times. CSS responded, processed the scene, and took possession of the weapon. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY - MISD 13:52:00 220729001150 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: ASSAULT WITH A DANGEROUS WEAPON; AGGRESSIVE PANHANDLING; THREATS TO DO BODILY HARM R/O responded to the 300 block of New Jersey Avenue, NW, for a call of a disorderly male. Upon arrival, R/O was approached by multiple Complainants stating the Suspect was barred from the establishment and its grounds. The Suspect was asked to leave the grounds, at which time he threw a can at one of the Complainants and entered the establishment. Once inside, the Suspect became physically aggressive toward the patrons, demanded money, and threatened the Complainant when told to leave the premises. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
MISD WARRANT 22:41:00 220723001108 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: BAIL REFORM ACT - MISD R/O observed an individual known to have an outstanding warrant standing at the intersection of Second and D Streets, NW. R/O conducted a stop at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed an active misdemeanor bench warrant out of the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
