TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 01:14:00 220912001374 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID R/O responded to the intersection of Washington Avenue and C Street, SW, for the report of a single vehicle crash. Upon arriving on scene, R/O observed a vehicle stopped on the median with heavy front end and side damage as well as deployed airbags. During the investigation, R/O detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's breath and person. A WALES/NCIC check was conducted and revealed the Suspect's driver's permit was suspended in Maryland with no valid permit in the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 01:16:00 220614000809 ADDITIONAL CHARGE: TRAFFIC - PERMIT-FAIL TO EXHIBIT R/O observed a vehicle traveling eastbound in the unit block of Massachusetts Avenue, NE, with no illuminated lights. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the unit block of Massachusetts Avenue, NW. The Suspect did not have a physical driver's permit to produce to R/O at the time of the stop. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect's license was expired through the District of Columbia, with no status in Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 01:18:00 220418000500 R/O observed a vehicle stopped at a green light at the intersection of North Capitol and E Streets, NW. R/O conducted a WALES/NCIC check of the displayed tags, which revealed an expired status. A traffic stop was conducted in the unit block of E Street, NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed a suspended Virginia license with no status in Maryland or the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS + RECKLESS DRIVING | DCC 50DC2201.04[B] | USC 36RUSC1004.2A | USC 66SUSC66-8-113 01:19:00 2.40205E+11 R/O observed a vehicle traveling northbound in the southbound lanes in the 700 Block of South Capitol Street SW. A traffic stop was attempted in the 600 Block of South Capitol Street SW, at which time the Suspect fled northbound, ran through several solid red lights, and abruptly stopped in the 400 Block of South Capitol Street SE. During the stop, A/O observed the Suspect to be extremely fidgety, with bloodshot and watery eyes, and a moderate smell of alcohol coming from inside the vehicle. A/O arrived on scene, and performed SFSTs. Due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 01:19:00 220403000423 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: TRAFFIC - MISUSE OF TAGS R/O observed a vehicle with Texas buyer tags committing improper lane changes in the 300 block of Washington Avenue, SW. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Second Street, SW. A WALES/NCIC check returned expired tags, tags registered to a different vehicle, as well as no valid permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS + ADDITIONAL CHARGE: POSS OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL - VEHICLE 01:20:00 230825001966 R/O observed a vehicle operating without headlights in the 400 Block of New Jersey Avenue NW. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the same block. While speaking with the Suspect, R/O smelled a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspects breath. SFSTs were conducted, and due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest, and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory search of the vehicle, R/O located an open bottle of an alcoholic beverage in the vehicle console. CSS responded, and processed the scene.
BENCH WARRANT-MISDEMEANOR 01:22:00 220523000697 R/O observed an individual walking eastbound in the unit block of Massachusetts Avenue, NE, known to R/O to have an outstanding warrant. The Suspect was stopped in the unit block of E Street, NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed an active warrant in the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
BENCH WARRANT-MISDEMEANOR 01:23:00 220405000433 ADDITIONAL CHARGE: BENCH WARRANT-MISDEMEANOR R/O observed two individuals engaged in a sexual act in the 600 block of North Capitol Street, NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the individuals revealed one of them had two bench warrants issued through the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 01:23:00 220809001212 R/O observed a vehicle traveling eastbound in the unit block of Columbus Circle, NE, pass through several solid red lights without stopping. A traffic stop was conducted in the 300 block of Massachusetts Avenue, NE. While speaking with the Suspect, R/O noticed the Suspect's slurred speech and slow reactions. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
FLEEING FROM A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER IN A MOTOR VEHICLE + NO PERMIT DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS LOANING REGISTRATION, MISUSE OF TEMPORARY TAGS 01:25:00 240129000000 R/O while on patrol in the Unit Block of Columbus Circle NE conducted a WALES/NCIC check on a vehicle's tag which revealed it belonged to another vehicle. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the same location. The driver exited the vehicle then reentered and fled eastbound in the Unit Block of Columbus Circle NE. Shortly after, facing oncoming units, the vehicle came to a stop in the 400 Block of First Street NE. While conversing with the Suspect, R/O noticed a moderate odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from their person. Additionally, a WALES/NCIC inquiry revealed the Suspect did not possess a valid operator's permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. SFSTs were partially administered, however due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
