TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS | 01/02/2022 | 7:46pm | 220102000005 | R/O observed a vehicle commit multiple traffic violations from South Capitol and I Streets, SE, to the 500 block of North Capitol Street. A traffic stop was conducted in the 600 block of North Capitol Street. Upon approaching the vehicle, R/O detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's vehicle. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. |
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS | 01/04/2022 | 8:51am | 220104000014 | ADDITIONAL CHARGE: POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL-VEHICLE R/O responded to the 100 block of Maryland Avenue, SW, for the report of an intoxicated individual. Upon arrival, R/O-2 made contact with an individual fitting the description sitting in the driver's seat of a running vehicle. R/O ordered the Suspect to turn off the vehicle; the Suspect refused to comply. R/O-2 detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect breath and person. The Suspect refused to perform SFSTs, was placed under arrest, and transported to Headquarters for processing. Upon inventory search of the vehicle, multiple bottles of alcohol were found in various locations throughout the vehicle. CSS responded and processed the scene. |
UNLAWFUL ENTRY - MISD | 01/04/2022 | 4:00pm | 220104000015 | R/O was dispatched to the unit block of D Street, SE, for a call of an unauthorized individual in the residence. Upon arrival, R/O observed the Suspect sitting in the vestibule. After further investigation, it was determined that the Suspect did not reside at the residence or have permission by the owner to be there. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. |
CARRYING A PISTOL W/O A LICENSE (CPWL) | 01/04/2022 | 5:16pm | 220104000016 | ADDITIONAL CHARGES: SIMPLE ASSAULT; POSSESSION OF UNREGISTERED FIREARM/UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A FIREARM OR DESTRUCTIVE DEVICE; TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID; POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL-VEHICLE; POSSESSION OF UNREGISTERED AMMUNITION R/O responded to the unit block of E Street, SE, for the report of a woman screaming. R/O-2 advised when he approached the vehicle that he made contact with the Victim, who displayed visible signs of injury, and stated she had been involved in a physical altercation with the Suspect. R/O-3 secured the Suspect and recovered a loaded firearm with eight rounds of ammunition from his jacket pocket. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had a valid District of Columbia Identification Card with no driving status. R/O also observed an open bottle of alcohol in the vehicle. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene. |
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID | 01/05/2022 | 9:42am | 220105000019 | R/O observed a vehicle traveling northbound in the 400 block of Second Street, NE, with an expired tag. R/O conducted a traffic stop at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect did not have a valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. |
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS | 01/07/2022 | 6:23am | 220107000026 | ADDITIONAL CHARGE: POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL - VEHICLE R/O responded to the 500 block of South Capitol Street, SE, to assist R/O-1 with a vehicle observed sitting through several light cycles at South Capitol and E Streets, SE. Upon arrival, R/O observed the Suspect leaning against the vehicle for balance, and an open container of an alcoholic beverage in the center console cup holder. During the investigation, R/O detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's breath and person. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. |
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID | 01/07/2022 | 5:10pm | 220107000031 | R/O observed a vehicle with a broken taillight heading westbound in the unit block of Massachusetts Avenue, NE. A traffic stop was conducted at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle revealed no tag record on file. Additionally, a WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed they did not possess a valid permit in District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. |

While speaking with the Suspect, R/O observed the Suspect had glassy, watery eyes and impaired coordination. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. |

A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 block of E Street, NW. While talking with the Suspect, R/O noticed that the Suspect's speech was slow and slurred. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. |
UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A WEAPON (DCMR) | 01/12/2022 | 10:30am | 220112000041 | ADDITIONAL CHARGES: POSSESSION OF UNREGISTERED AMMUNITION; UNLAWFUL POSSESSION/TRANSPORTATION OF A SEMI-AUTOMATIC RIFLE; UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A FIREARM - MISDEMEANOR (X2) R/Os responded to Headquarters to speak to an individual that reported she had information regarding the siege of the Capitol Building on January 6, 2021. During the voluntary, noncustodial interview, the Suspect pointed to her vehicle. R/O observed said vehicle illegally parked in front of Headquarters, and could see cases typically used to transport firearms. The Suspect confirmed there were firearms in the vehicle. CSS recovered three firearms, a pellet gun, and ammunition. R/O placed the Suspect under arrest and transported her to Headquarters for processing. |
