NO PERMIT + FAIL TO EXHIBIT LICENSE 19:15:00 240314000572 R/O observed a vehicle in the 300 Block of Washington Avenue SW with no registration displayed make numerous traffic violations. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 400 Block of Second Street NW. The Suspect failed to provide R/O with a physical driver's license. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect did not have a valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to HQ for processing.
NO PERMIT | DCC 50DC1401.01 | DCC 50DC1401.01[D] 19:14:00 240313000561 R/O responded to the Unit Block of Second Street NE for the report of a traffic crash. Upon arrival, R/O observed the that an operator of a scooter had collided with a vehicle. A WALES/NCIC check of operator of the scooter revealed no valid permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to HQ for processing.
DEFACING GOVERNMENT PROPERTY 12:00:00 240313002254 R/O 1 & 2 responded to a House Office Building for a report of vandalism. Upon arrival, R/O reported to the officers an unknown Subject placed a sticker with opposing views on a poster outside of a room. A canvas of the area had negative results. CID was notified and will continue to investigate.
NO PERMIT + FAIL TO OBEY 21:29:00 240313000549 R/O responded for a vehicle that failed to yield to officers at the checkpoint at Second Street and Constitution Avenue NE. R/O observed the vehicle which travelled eastbound in the Unit Block of Constitution Avenue NE before it made a right, northbound turn onto New Jersey Avenue NW. The vehicle came to a stop at the barricade at New Jersey Avenue and C Street NW. The Suspect then exited the vehicle, and attempted to run before he complied with the R/O's orders. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had no valid permit through the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was arrested, transported to HQ, and processed. CSS responded and processed the scene.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT IN A PUBLIC BUILDING 15:54:00 240311000537 R/O responded to the Rotunda Door in the Russell Senate Office Building for a door breach alarm. Video surveillance revealed the Suspect held the Rotunda Door open and allowed multiple people to enter the building without undergoing security screening procedures. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to HQ for processing.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE - 1ST OFF + POSSESSION OF AN OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL (POCA) 2:04:00 240311000527 R/O observed a vehicle fail to stop for a solid red light at the intersection of New Jersey Avenue and H Street NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 Block of H Street NW. Upon approach, R/O observed the driver's speech was slurred, and eyes appeared to be watery and bloodshot. SFSTs were conducted; due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was arrested, transported to HQ, and processed. During an inventory search of the vehicle, R/O found one half empty tequila bottle with a straw sitting upright behind the driver's floorboard.
DISORDERLY, DISRUPTING GATHERING OR CONGREGATION 15:20:00 240311000535 Three R/O observed multiple Suspects holding signs, shouting, and demonstrating during a committee meeting in SH-216 of the Hart Senate Office Building. The Suspects were directed to cease their activity, but they continued to disrupt the proceeding. The Suspects were placed under arrest and transported to HQ for processing.
DEFACE PRIVATE/PUBLIC PROPERTY 8:00:00 240311000530 R/O responded to the Capitol Power Plant for a report of damage to government property. The Complainant stated that several pieces of equipment belonging to the Architect of the Capitol had been written on with marker and spray paint some time prior to Thursday, March 7. CSS responded and processed the scene.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS + DISORDERLY CONDUCT - MISD PUBLIC INTOXICATION 3:36:00 240310000523 R/O observed a vehicle driven without illuminated headlights in the Unit Block of H Street NW. A traffic stop was conducted at the same location. Upon approach, the driver exited the vehicle, urinated in public, and slurred his speech while conversing. SFSTs were conducted; due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was arrested, transported to HQ, and processed. During the arrest process, R/O was interrupted by an individual who claimed to be a passenger in the vehicle. The passenger interfered with the arrest process. After the passenger was ordered, several times, to leave the scene, the passenger became increasingly agitated, and physically resisted, as the R/O and other officers attempted to arrest the individual. The Suspect was subsequently arrested, transported to HQ, and processed.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT - NO VALID + ADDITIONAL CHARGES: FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE 1:50:00 240310000521 R/O observed a vehicle that displayed an expired temporary registration in the 500 Block of H Street NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of H Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the vehicle's registration was expired. A WALES/NCIC check via word of mouth was conducted on the driver which revealed an expired New Jersey permit, with no status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. A WALES/NCIC check via word of mouth of the passenger revealed an extraditable warrant out of New Jersey, along with two bench warrants out of the District of Columbia. The warrants were confirmed through USCP Communications. Both Suspects were arrested, transported to Headquarters, and processed.
