TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 17:23:53 220305000301 R/O observed a vehicle traveling southbound in the unit block of First Street, SW, with no tag displayed. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Maryland Avenue, SW. A WALES/NCIC check revealed that the Suspect's license was expired through Virginia with no status in the District of Columbia or Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrested and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 02:46:00 220306000304 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: TRAFFIC - MISUSE OF TAGS; POSS OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL - VEHICLE R/O ran a tag check on a vehicle in the 500 block of North Capitol Street, NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle revealed information belonging to a different vehicle. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of E Street, NW. During the traffic stop, the Suspect admitted to drinking an alcoholic beverage. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. R/O conducted an inventory of the vehicle and located an opened bottle of an alcoholic beverage in the back seat.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 23:08:00 220307000305 R/O observed a vehicle traveling southbound in the 400 block of South Capitol Street, SW, displaying an expired registration. A traffic stop was conducted in the 500 block of New Jersey Avenue, SE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed that the Suspect did not have a valid driver's license through the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
CRUELTY TO CHILDREN - MISD 19:37:00 220308000312 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE R/O observed a vehicle parked in the unit block of H Street, NW, matching the description of a vehicle wanted in reference to a missing person. The vehicle hit on an LPR a few days earlier. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle revealed the owner was subject to an active extraditable warrant for kidnapping. While conducting a preliminary investigation, R/O observed the Suspect approaching the vehicle with a small child. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect to be the owner of the vehicle. USCP Communications confirmed the warrant and the identity of the child. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRINKING IN PUBLIC 14:29:00 220309000315 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: SECOND DEGREE CRUELTY TO CHILDREN R/O responded to the unit block of Third Street, SW, to assist with a stop of a Suspect who may have been intoxicated while pushing a stroller with a child inside. R/O detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's breath. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. Upon further investigation, R/O found the child was wrapped in a wet blanket, and had not eaten since the night before. CIS was contacted and notified DC CFSA for the child.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 22:22:00 220311000322 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: COUNTERFEIT TAGS R/O observed a vehicle traveling southbound in the 300 block of Fourth Street, SE. A WALES/NCIC check of the registration revealed the tags were registered to a different vehicle. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, SE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect only had a valid District of Columbia Identification Card, and a suspended learner's permit with no status in Maryland and Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 02:41:00 220312000323 R/O observed a driver who appeared to be unconscious at the wheel in the 200 block of D Street, SE. Upon approach, R/O detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the Suspect's breath. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 19:00:00 220313000325 R/O observed a vehicle stopped in the 300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, NW. R/O approached the vehicle, and observed the Suspect slumped over the steering wheel. The Suspect later stepped out of the vehicle, and R/O detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's breath. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 20:34:00 220313000326 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: TRAFFIC - MISUSE OF TAGS; TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID R/O observed a vehicle traveling westbound in the unit block of Constitution Avenue, NW, displaying a tag that is commonly misused in the District of Columbia. A traffic stop was conducted in the unit block of Louisiana Avenue, NW. While speaking with the Suspect, R/O smelled an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from his breath. A WALES/NCIC check revealed no driver's license status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 20:29:00 220313000327 R/O observed a vehicle traveling westbound in the unit block of Constitution Avenue, NE, swerving and almost striking the curb. A traffic stop was conducted in the same location. R/O observed signs of intoxication, and smelled an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's breath. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
