FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE 01:26:00 220405000434 R/O initiated a contact with an individual known to R/O. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had an active warrant in Prince George's County, Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 01:27:00 221007001543 R/O observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed in the 300 block of Massachusetts Avenue, NE. A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 block of Massachusetts Avenue, NE. Upon approach, R/O detected an odor of Marijuana emitting from the vehicle. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS + ADDITIONAL CHARGE: RECKLESS DRIVING - MISD 01:28:00 230527001199 R/O responded to a traffic accident at the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Third Street NW. Once on scene, R/O observed a vehicle that had crashed into a tree, which resulted in disabling front-end damage and the deployment of multiple airbags. R/O observed the driver of the vehicle speaking in a slow, slurred manner and a moderate odor of an alcoholic beverage was emanating from the individual's breath. SFSTs were conducted. Due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT - NO VALID | DCC 50DC1401.01 + ADDITIONAL CHARGE: TRAFFIC - LOANING REGISTRATION ,MISUSE OF TAGS | DCMR 18DCMR1101.1 01:28:00 231231002956 R/O observed a vehicle displaying Maryland tags driving Southbound in the 500 Block of North Capitol Street NW. The vehicle then turned right at the intersection of North Capitol Street and E Streets NW without using a proper turn signal. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicles tag revealed that the tags were expired and that they belonged to another vehicle. R/O also noticed that the Suspect had difficulty operating the vehicle causing the vehicle to stall and roll backwards towards R/Os patrol vehicle. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 300 Block of E Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check revealed that the Suspect had no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 01:29:00 220109000033 R/O observed a vehicle committing multiple traffic violations beginning in the 600 block of North Capitol Street, NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 block of E Street, NW. While talking with the Suspect, R/O noticed that the Suspect's speech was slow and slurred. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 01:30:00 221017001598 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE; POSSESSION OF AN OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL - POCA R/O observed a vehicle committing multiple traffic violations at the intersection of Second and D Streets, NW. A traffic stop was conducted at the southbound entrance to Interstate 395 via the Third Street Tunnel. Upon approach, R/O detected an odor of alcohol emitting from the Suspect's breath and person. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed an extraditable warrant out of Houston, Texas. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. An inventory search of the vehicle revealed an open container of alcohol.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 01:31:00 2205160000658 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID; RECKLESS DRIVING - MISD R/O observed a vehicle proceeding the wrong way in the 400 block of South Capitol Street, SW, at a high rate of speed. A WALES/NCIC check of Suspect revealed no valid permit on file in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. While speaking with the Suspect, R/O detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's breath. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE-1st Off | DCC 50DC2201.05[B][1] X. ADDITIONAL CHARGE: NO PERMIT | DCC 50DC1401.01 | DCC 50DC1401.01(D) 01:31:00 2.31217E+11 R/O observed a vehicle with a flat tire and it's hazard lights on as it travelled northbound in the Unit Block of Second Street SE. A traffic stop was conducted in the same location. Upon approach, R/O noticed the Suspect spoke in a slow, slurred manner, and faced forward for the majority of the conversation. A WALES/NCIC check revealed that the Suspect had no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. SFSTs were administered, and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 01:33:00 230715001647 R/O observed an individual asleep behind the wheel of their vehicle in the Unit Block of D Street NW. R/O conducted a welfare check at the same location. Upon approach, R/O observed two open bottles of beer located in the center cup holder. SFSTs were conducted, and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 01:33:00 230116000079 R/O responded to Washington Avenue and C Street SW for a report of a traffic accident involving a single vehicle. Upon arrival, R/O identified the Suspect as the driver of the vehicle. While standing next to the Suspect, R/O detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's breath and person. SFSTs were conducted, and due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. (eh)
