32nd Annual National Peace Officers Memorial Service

The 32nd Annual National Peace Officers Memorial Service will be held on the West Front of the U.S. Capitol at 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 15, 2013. This ceremony honors the law enforcement officers who were killed in the line of duty during 2012.

Street Closures & Bus Restrictions:

On Wednesday, May 15, at 12:01am the streets listed below near the West Front of the Capitol will be closed to vehicular traffic:

• First Street SW/NW between Independence and Constitution Avenues
• Pennsylvania Avenue, NW from First Street, NW to Third Street, NW
• Maryland Avenue, SW from First Street to Third Street

Tour buses will be rerouted to Third Street, SW / NW for drop off and pick up until 5:00pm when street closures and bus restrictions will be lifted.
