UNLAWFUL ENTRY 20:26:00 260422001281 R/O received a radio run about a Suspect matching the description of an individual served a barring notice on U.S. Capitol Grounds. The Suspect was reported by USCP communications to be near the First and C Street. R/O arrived at the location and noticed the Suspect matching the description at the Unit Block of C Street NE. R/O recognized the suspect through previous interactions as well as through a BOLO. R/O approached the Suspect and asked the for their name. Upon providing this information, R/O told the Suspect they were being stopped to be served a barring notice. R/O provided the Suspect with the notice and a map outlining where they were not allowed. The Suspect gathered their belongings and began walking northbound towards D Street NE. R/O followed the Suspect to ensure they had vacated U.S. Capitol Grounds. The Suspect instead headed towards the U.S. Capitol Police Headquarters. The Suspect crossed the 100 Block of D Street NE at which time the decision to detain them was made. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT SECOND OFFENSE 10:38:00 260422001273 R/O observed a vehicle traveling in the 600 Block of North Capitol Street NW with a questionable tag. A WALES/NCIC check revealed an unissued license plate. A traffic stop was conducted in the 500 Block of North Capitol Street NW. A WALES/NCIC of the driver revealed no valid drivers license in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE 10:29:00 260421001262 R/O observed an individual urinating in public in the 100 Block of Louisiana Avenue NW. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the individual had an extraditable warrant out of California. The warrant was confirmed through USCP Communications. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 17:31:00 260421001267 R/O observed a vehicle travel through a solid red light at the intersection of Third Street and Pennsylvania Avenue NW. A traffic stop was initiated in the 200 Block of Third Street SW. A WALES/ NCIC check revealed a suspended license through Virginia and no driving status in the District of Columbia or Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
THEFT SECOND DEGREE (THEFT FROM BUILDING) 16:21:00 260420001257 CIS responded to the USCP Headquarters Building for an individual who stated they have an active warrant. R/O arrived on scene and spoke with the individual. The Suspect was known and identified as the Suspect in a theft case. A WALES/NCIC of the Suspect revealed an active warrant issued by the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
CROWDING, OBSTRUCTING OR INCOMMODING 12:38:00 260420001252 R/O responded to a House Office Building for the report of an active demonstration. Upon arrival, R/O observed multiple individuals chanting loudly and causing a disruption to routine business. The individuals were given three warnings to cease and desist their demonstration activity, but refused to do so. The Suspects was placed under arrest and transported to 67 K Street SW for processing.
UNLAWFUL CONDUCT CAPITOL GROUNDS 2:39:00 260419001245 R/O observed an individual laying completely flat on a bench along the Northeast Drive of the U.S. Capitol Building. R/O and A/O approached the Suspect and advised them of the regulation on Capitol Grounds. The Suspect continued to lay on the bench. R/O gave one last final warning for the Suspect to sit up or be subject to arrest. The suspect complied. After a few minutes passed, R/O and A/O returned to find the Suspect laying completely flat on the bench again. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE - FIRST OFFENSE + POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL (POCA) - VEHICLE RESISTING ARREST 3:06:00 260419001246 R/O was patrolling the Unit Block of H Street NW when he noticed a vehicle driving without its headlights on. A traffic stop was conducted in the 300 Block of H Street NW. Upon approach, R/O noticed the Suspects eyes were red and glassy. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no wants or warrants. SFST 's were conducted and due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest. The Suspect was transported to USCP Headquarters for processing. During the inventory search of the vehicle, R/O observed an open container of alcohol in the front passenger side door.
FLEEING FROM A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER IN A MOTOR VEHICLE + SPEEDING AND RECKLESS DRIVING FAILURE TO OBEY OFFICER 21:54:00 260418001241 R/O observed a motorcycle accelerate at a high rate of speed and pass through multiple red lights in the 200 and 400 Blocks of Washington Avenue SW. A traffic stop was attempted at the intersection of D Street and Washington Avenue SW. The vehicle did not stop and fled at a high rate of speed driving into oncoming traffic. R/O later observed the vehicle in the 200 Block of D Street SE. A traffic stop was conducted in the same location with R/O giving the Suspect multiple verbal commands to get off the motorcycle but failed to obey commands. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT + LOANING REGISTRATION, MISUSE OF TEMPORARY TAGS 8:51:00 260419001247 R/O observed a vehicle traveling with expired tags in the Unit Block of M Street SW. A traffic stop was conducted in the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the tags revealed they were registered to a different vehicle. During the course of the investigation, the Suspect admitted to placing the tags on their vehicle. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no valid driving status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
