Upon arrival, R/O 1 observed a single vehicle on the side of the road. The Complainant stated while in heavy traffic, the Suspect struck the rear side bumper of their vehicle. While attempting to flee, the Suspect used their vehicle to hit the Complainant. R/O 2 and R/O 3 responded to process the scene. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate. | |

A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle tag revealed ne record. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of Louisiana Avenue NW. While speaking with the driver, R/O 2 smelled a strong odor of cannabis emanating from the vehicle. A WALES/NCIC check of the VIN revealed an expired and suspended Maryland registration. SFST's were conducted and due to numerous signs, the Suspect was determined to be impaired. In the process of placing the Suspect under arrest, the Suspect began to violently resist by pulling away and tensing up knocking an officer to the ground. The Suspect was arrested and transported to Headquarters for processing. An inventory search vehicle revealed a wooden bat with 15 screws driven through the top. R/O 3 and R/O 4 responded to process the scene. | |

The Complainant reported they left their notebook in the office on August 6th. When they returned to the office on August 17th, the notebook was still there, but multiple pages had been torn out and could not be found. R/O 2 was notified and will continue to investigate. | |

Upon approaching the vehicle, the Officer detected the odor of alcohol emanating from the driver. A traffic stop was conducted at the same location, and SFSTs were administered. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

Additionally, R/O noticed a moderately strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

A traffic stop was conducted in the same location. Upon approach, R/O detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the vehicle. SFTSs were conducted. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. Additionally, R/O 2 observed the backseat passenger in possession of an open container of an alcoholic beverage. | |

R/O also detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the vehicle. SFSTs were conducted. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. |
