DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE 17:09:00 250730002540 R/O responded to a report of a traffic crash at the 100 Block of Independence Avenue SE. When R/O arrived on scene, R/O observed two vehicles with damage on opposite sides of the road. When R/O made contact with driver of the vehicle, R/O smelt a odor consistent with marijuana and noticed that the Suspect's eyes were blood shot and glassy. SFST's were conducted by A/O. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 8:00:00 250730002531 R/O observed a vehicle traveling eastbound in the Unit Block of M Street SE with no rear tag displayed. A traffic stop was conducted at the same location. R/O approached the vehicle and was able to observe a temporary tag covered by a dark colored shield. A WALES/NCIC of the driver revealed no valid permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY 11:30:00 250729002519 R/O responded to a room in a Senate Office Building for a report of an active demonstration. Upon arrival, the Complainant told R/O the individuals were asked to leave the office but they refused to leave. R/O advised the Suspects to leave the premises but the individuals failed to comply. After several warnings were given, the Suspects were placed under arrest and transported to 67 K Street SW for processing.
THEFT SECOND DEGREE 17:20:00 250729002523 R/O was flagged down in the 100 Block of Maryland Avenue SW for a report of a stolen electric bicycle. The Complainant stated they parked and secured their bike to a bike rack at that same location approximately 1720 hours. When they returned approximately thirty minutes later, their bike was gone. A canvass of the area for the Suspect and bike was met with negative results and CIS was notified.
NO PERMIT 11:20:00 250728002506 R/O observed a vehicle traveling eastbound in the 300 Block of Independence Avenue SW conduct a left turn against a sign prohibiting left turns at the intersection of Independence Avenue and Third Street SW. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 300 Block of C Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect's identification revealed no status in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE + RECKLESS DRIVING POSSESSION OF AN OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL (POCA) 2:47:00 250727002505 R/O observed a vehicle commit multiple traffic violations, to include proceeding through multiple red traffic lights without stopping, while traversing the 400 Block of North Capitol Street and the Unit Block of D Street NW. A traffic stop was subsequently conducted in the 100 Block of D Street NW. During the course of the stop, R/O noticed the driver's speech was slurred and detected a faint odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the drivers breath. SFST were conducted. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory search of the vehicle, a bottle clearly labeled as an alcoholic beverage was discovered in the drivers side door's storage compartment.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE - FIRST OFFENSE + POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL - VEHICLE 17:37:00 250726002503 R/O observed a vehicle traveling southbound in the 400 Block of South Capitol Street SW with an expired tag. A WALES/NCIC check confirmed the registration of the vehicle was expired. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 500 Block of South Capitol Street SW. Upon approach, R/O detected a faint odor consistent with an alcoholic beverage emanating from inside the vehicle. SFSTs were administered and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to headquarters for processing. During an inventory search of the vehicle, R/O observed a half full can sitting in a cup holder with an odor consistent with an alcoholic beverage. R/O also observed an empty red solo cup, with residue at the bottom that had an odor consistent with an alcoholic beverage, on the passenger floorboard.
NO PERMIT + FAILURE TO EXHIBIT PERMIT 16:42:00 250726002502 R/O observed a vehicle bearing an expired registration in the Unit Block of Columbus Circle NE. A traffic stop was conducted in the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect through USCP Communications revealed no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
PERMIT - NO VALID 18:17:00 250725002495 R/O observed a vehicle traveling in the 100 Block of Independence Avenue SE with a nonfunctioning brake light. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of Independence Avenue SE. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed no valid operator's permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 19:10:00 250724002483 R/O observed a vehicle bearing an expired registration in the Unit Block of Independence Avenue SE. A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 Block of Independence Avenue SE. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect through USCP Communications revealed no driving status through all 50 states. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
