A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 Block of Louisiana Avenue NW. A WALES/NCIC check revealed a suspended permit out of Maryland with no status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| NO PERMIT + MISUSE OF TAGS | 16:15:00 | 260603001820 | R/O observed a vehicle in the 600 Block of North Capitol Street NW displaying an expired tag. A traffic stop was conducted in the same location. A WALES/NCIC of the vehicle revealed a registration that was different from the observed vehicle. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a suspended Virginia permit with no status in the District of Columbia or Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| SIMPLE ASSAULT X3 + DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY LESS THAN $1000, NO PERMIT DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE - 1ST OFFENSE | 12:07:00 | 200603001807 | R/O-1 and R/O-2 responded to a traffic accident with an assault in progress at I-695E prior to the split at South Capitol Street SW. Upon arrival R/O and A/O made contact with four individuals. The Complainant sustained visible injuries in an assault by three Suspects when attempting to document vehicle damage after a traffic collision. A WALES/NCIC check of Suspect 1 revealed an active warrant out of Prince Georges County, MD. Suspect 1 displayed slurred speech, pinpoint pupils and altered memory. The Suspect refused SFSTs. After some investigation, video footage was provided to R/O for the assault. All 3 Suspects were placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE + PUBLIC INTOXICATION ASSAULT ON A POLICE OFFICER X2 | 15:55:00 | 260603001819 | R/O was approached by an individual slurring his speech and appearing to be heavily intoxicated in the Unit Block of First Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the individual revealed a warrant out of Mercer County, Pennsylvania which was confirmed extraditable by USCP Communications. When R/O attempted to detain the individual, the Suspect resisted in order to evade being handcuffed. As a result, R/O sustained minor lacerations on the right hand and A/O sustained lacerations to the right eye and both knees. The Suspect was successfully placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. While being processed, a bottle of Brandy was located in the Suspect's suitcase. | |

Upon arrival, the Complainant stated the Suspect hit her in the arm during their interaction. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate. | |
| DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE - SECOND OFFENSE | 20:50:00 | 260603001822 | R/O observed a vehicle traveling southbound in the 600 Block of North Capitol Street NW displaying an expired registration sticker. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of Columbus Circle NE. When speaking with the driver R/O detected a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

The individual was given three warnings to cease and desist their demonstration activity but refused to do so. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

R/O observed Eight (8) Suspects verbally arguing with each other over a parking space. One of the Suspects made the statement of stepping around the corner to settle it. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspects revealed no wants or warrants. All parties were released for further investigation for threats to do bodily harm. | |

The Complaint stated they believe the theft occurred on June 1st, 2026, between 0845hrs 0930hrs while they stepped out of their office. On June 2nd, 2026, the Complainant discovered three credit cards missing from their backpack. CID was notified and will continue to investigate. | |
