NO PERMIT 1:44:00 260311000706 R/O observed a vehicle traveling westbound in the Unit Block of E Street NW with a missing rear bumper and an expired registration sticker. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 400 Block of E Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a suspended license in Maryland and no status in the District of Columbia of Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
FAILURE TO APPEAR 16:32:00 260311000718 R/O observed an individual lying on the ground near the curb in the 100 Block of Constitution Avenue NE. R/O conducted a welfare check at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed an active warrant for failure to appear out of the District of Columbia Superior Court. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE - 1ST OFFENSE + POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL - VEHICLE 11:52:00 260310000699 R/O observed a vehicle with an expired registration in the 600 Block of North Capitol Street NW. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the Unit Block of E Street NW. Upon approach, R/O observed multiple open containers of what appeared to be alcoholic beverages in the front and rear of the vehicle. Additionally, R/O noticed an odor consistent with marijuana and alcoholic beverages emitting from the vehicle. SFSTs were conducted and due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory search, R/O discovered multiple open cans containing liquid with an odor consistent with an alcoholic beverage. CSS responded and processed the scene.
COUNTERFEIT TAGS + POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL - VEHICLE 17:05:00 260310000702 R/O observed a vehicle with what appeared to be a fictitious tag in the 100 Block of Independence Avenue SW. A WALES/NCIC check through USCP Communications revealed no registration on file. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 300 Block of Independence Avenue SE. Upon approach, R/O observed 1/4 full bottle consistent with an alcoholic beverage on the rear driver side floorboard. Additionally, a WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle's VIN revealed no registration on file. CSS responded and processed the scene. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
LEAVING AFTER COLLIDING - PROPERTY DAMAGE 11:28:00 260310000696 R/O responded to the Unit Block of E Street SW for a report of a traffic accident. Upon arrival, R/O observed a vehicle with significant damage to the driver side taillight and rear fender. The Complainant stated they left the area at approximately 0900 hours and upon returning at approximately 1125 hours, they discovered the damage. CSS responded and processed the scene. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate.
NO PERMIT - 2ND OFFENSE + POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE - MISD 18:07:00 260310000704 R/O observed a vehicle with an expired registration in the Unit Block of First Street SE. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the intersection of Washington Avenue and C Street SW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no driving status in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory search, R/O located a clear glass pipe and a small bag containing a white crystalline substance from the driver side door interior compartment. CSS responded and processed the scene. The substance tested presumptively positive for methamphetamine.
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE 13:58:00 260310000701 R/O responded to a room inside of a Senate Office Building for the report of an unwanted guest. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed an active extraditable warrant out of Kentucky. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE - 1ST OFFENSE 23:54:00 260310000694 R/O observed a vehicle attempting a right turn by traveling through a solid red light signal at the intersection of F Street and North Capitol Street NW. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 700 Block of North Capitol Street NE. R/O could smell a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the Suspect. SFST's were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
OPERATING AFTER REVOCATION 17:11:00 260309000691 R/O observed a vehicle traveling in the Unit Block of D Street SW with an expired tag. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the Unit Block of D Street SW. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had a revoked permit in the District of Columbia and no permit status in Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
FAILURE TO APPEAR (OAG) 2X + POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE - MISD 16:43:00 260309000690 R/O observed an individual walking in the roadway in the 300 Block of New Jersey Avenue NW. The individual matched the description of a previous lookout for a person wanted on a misdemeanor bench warrant. A WALES/NCIC check revealed two confirmed warrants out of DC Superior Court. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During a search incident to arrest, narcotics were found on the Suspect's person. Crime Scene Search was notified and responded to process the scene.
