DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE, POSSESSION OF AN OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL 0:29:00 260516001593 R/O observed a vehicle with no rear lights running in the 200 Block of Third Street NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 300 Block of Pennsylvania Avenue NW. Upon approach, R/O detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the vehicle. R/O noticed the driver's eyes were bloodshot and watery and their speech was slurred. SFST's were administered and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. An inventory search of the vehicle revealed a plastic bottle with a liquid consistent with smell of an alcoholic beverage in the center console and a bottle of Tequila on the floorboard between the driver side seat and the center console.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE- 1ST OFFENCE, POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL 17:54:00 260515001591 R/O observed a vehicle traveling in the 300 Block of Fourth Street NE straddling lanes. A traffic stop was conducted in the 500 Block of C Street NE. Upon approach, R/O detected a strong odor of alcohol emanating from the vehicle. R/O noticed the driver's eyes were bloodshot and watery. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters. An inventory search of the vehicle revealed two bottles of Tequila underneath the passenger seat.
CONTEMPT-CONDITION OF RELEASE VIOLATION 14:49:00 260515001588 R/O responded to Lower Senate Park for the report of a barred individual. A stop was conducted in the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the individual revealed an active stay away order from U.S. Capitol Grounds. The Subject was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 12:42:00 260513001561 R/O observed a vehicle with an expired registration traveling westbound in the Unit Block of M Street SW. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 200 Block of M Street SW. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed no driving status in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
SIMPLE ASSAULT 17:02:00 260512001552 R/O responded to the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE for the report of a simple assault. Upon arrival, R/O was flagged down by the Complainant who stated another driver spit in his face and attempted to punch him. All attempts to locate the Suspect were met with negative results. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate.
NO PERMIT + THREATS TO DO BODILY HARM - MISD 11:37:00 260512001542 R/O observed a vehicle commit multiple traffic violations in the intersection of North Capitol Street and Louisiana Avenue NW. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the Unit Block of Louisiana Avenue NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed no driving status in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest. During the search incident to arrest, the Suspect started making verbal threats and began headbutting and kicking while being transported to Headquarters.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE + POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL - VEHICLE 1:27:00 260512001537 R/O observed a vehicle traveling northbound in the 400 block of South Capitol Street SE pass through a red signal at the intersection of South Capitol Street and Washington Avenue SW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 block of Independence Avenue SW. Upon approach, R/O detected an odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. While speaking with the driver, R/O noticed their eyes were watery and blood shot and smelled an odor consistent with an alcoholic beverage emanating from the driver's breath. SFSTs were administered and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. A search of the vehicle incident to arrest revealed a bottle of cognac on the rear passenger seat.
CROWDING, OBSTRUCTING, OR INCOMMODING 11:19:00 260512001540 R/O-1 and R/O-2 observed two individuals disrupting a committee hearing in a Senate Office Building. One Suspect stood up and started yelling while, the other attempted to capture the disruption on video. The Suspects were given multiple warnings to cease and desist their demonstration activity but failed to do so. The Suspects were placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
FAILURE TO APPEAR 11:46:00 260512001541 R/O-1 and R/O-2 observed an individual lying on the sidewalk in the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. A welfare check was conducted at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the individual revealed an active bench warrant out of the District of Columbia Superior Court. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
FAILURE TO APPEAR 16:43:00 260512001551 R/O observed an individual known to have an active warrant. R/O made contact with the individual at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the individual revealed an active bench warrant out of the District of Columbia Superior Court. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
