NO PERMIT 17:41:55 260410001124 R/O observed a vehicle traveling in the Unit Block of Independence Avenue SW displaying an expired registration. A traffic stop was conducted in the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed no driving status in in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 9:18:00 260410001117 R/O observed a vehicle traveling in the Unit Block of I Street SE with an expired registration. A WALES/NCIC inquiry confirmed the expired status. A traffic stop was conducted at the same location. A WALES/NCIC of the driver revealed no driving status in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 22:13:00 260410001128 R/O observed a vehicle disabled in the 400 Block of Washington Avenue SW. R/O conducted a welfare check in the same location. R/O observed the driver's eyes were watery and glassy as well as the odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from their person. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 22:33:00 260409001116 R/O observed a vehicle with expired tags in the 200 Block of Washington Avenue SW. A traffic stop was conducted at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the driver had no driving status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
THEFT II 11:04:00 260409001105 R/O-1 and R/O-2 monitored a lookout for an individual regarding a theft that occurred at the U.S. Botanic Garden's gift shop. The officers subsequently stopped an individual matching a lookout in the area. A Witness stated the individual snatch a t-shirt from the gift shop and fled the scene. The show-up was conducted with the outcome being a positive identification. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 20:56:00 260409001114 R/O observed a vehicle drive through a solid red light at the intersection of Constitution Avenue and New Jersey Avenue NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of Constitution Avenue NE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the driver had a suspended Maryland operator's permit no driving status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE - 1ST OFF + POSSESSION OF AN OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL (POCA) 21:40:00 260408001101 R/O observed a vehicle traveling eastbound in the 200 Block of Pennsylvania Avenue NW with a flat tire. A traffic stop was conducted Unit Block of First Street SW. Upon approach, RO noticed an odor consistent to marijuana emitting from the Suspect's vehicle. The Suspect's eye's were red with an empty glaze and speech was slurred. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During the inventory search of the vehicle, a bottle of Brandy was found in the middle console and a cup of brown liquid, with the smell consistent to an alcoholic beverage, in the front passenger side door.
OPERATING AFTER REVOCATION + POSSESSION OF A BB GUN X2 12:29:00 260407001081 R/O observed a vehicle in the 1100 Block of South Capitol Street SW with expired registration. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle confirmed the expired registration. A traffic stop was conducted in the 1500 Block of South Capitol Street SW. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed a revoked permit out of the District of Columbia with no status in Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory search of the vehicle, R/O discovered a duffel bag in the driver's side rear seat with what appeared to be a bb gun secured in a holster. CSS responded and processed the scene, where a second bb gun was discovered in the trunk of the vehicle.
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE 7:54:00 260407001077 R/O conducted a contact in Lower Senate Park. A WALES/NCIC check of the subject revealed an active warrant out of Ohio. The suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
ASSAULT WITH A DANGEROUS WEAPON + CARRYING DANGEROUS WEAPON OUTSIDE HOME OR BUSINESS IN VIOLATION OF 2ND EMERGENCY ACT OF 2014 RESISTING ARREST ASSAULT ON A POLICE OFFICER 22:21:00 260407001091 R/O was flagged down in the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE by a Metropolitan Police Department Officer in reference to a Suspect brandishing a knife while in close proximity to members of the National Guard. A BOLO was broadcast and a Suspect matching the description was located in front of the Postal Museum. A subject stop was conducted at the same location. While trying to detain the suspect, the Suspect pulled away from R/O and a struggled ensued. After detaining the Suspect, R/O located a folding style knife in the Suspects right front coat pocket. CSS responded and processed the scene. Upon completing a search incident to arrest, the Suspect began yelling and attempting to pull away from R/O. The suspect became increasingly agitated and kicked R/O left leg and spat on the R/O right leg. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
