R/O observed what appeared to be a handgun on the X-ray while screening. R/O conducted a physical inspection of the bag and recovered a handgun with a large capacity magazine inserted into the handgun. CSS responded and recovered a P365 handgun with one round in the chamber and a magazine with 12 rounds. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

R/O approached the driver, observed the driver with watery, bloodshot eyes, and slurred speech. R/O also smelled an odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the drivers breath. SFSTs were conducted. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

A traffic stop was initiated in the 100 Block of Independence Avenue SW. The Suspect ignored R/O's order to stop, put the vehicle in drive, and fled the scene traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes in the 200 Block of Independence Avenue SW. R/O accelerated and turned left to avoid being struck by the Suspect's vehicle. The Suspect's vehicle was located in the 900 Block of Independence Avenue SW and continued to flee. USCP Watch Commander advised no pursuit. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate. | |
