A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 Block of K Street SE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had no permit in the District of Columbia, with no status in Virginia, or Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
THREATS TO DO BODILY HARM | 16:47:00 | 250812002646 | R/O responded to the report of an individual making threats in a House Office Building. Upon arrival, R/O met with the Complainant who stated the Suspect was recently terminated. Once notified of the termination, the Suspect made threatening statements towards the Complainant. The Suspect was located and stopped at New Jersey Avenue and C Street SE. S/A responded and conducted an investigation. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

During the screening process, R/O noticed what appeared to be a pair of brass knuckles in the individuals bag. A physical inspection of the bag was conducted and confirmed brass knuckles were inside the individuals bag. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene. | |
CPWL - CARRYING A PISTOL WITHOUT A LICENSE + POSSESSION OF UNREGISTERED FIREARM POSSESSION OF UNREGISTERED AMMUNITION TRAFFIC - MISUSE OF TAGS POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL | 16:32:00 | 250812002647 | R/O observed a vehicle traveling eastbound in the Unit Block of Independence Avenue SW, displaying an expired tag. A traffic stop was conducted in the same area. The WALES/NCIC check revealed the tags were expired. Upon approach, R/O noticed what appeared to be two open containers, with a dark liquid and smell consistent of an alcoholic beverage in the back seat of the vehicle. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During the inventory search of the vehicle, a .22LR revolver with five loaded rounds was discovered in the trunk. CIS was notified and processed the scene. The MPD Gun Registration Unit confirmed the firearm is not registered and the Suspect did not possess or maintain a license to carry a firearm in the District of Columbia. | |

Upon initiation of the traffic stop, the vehicle accelerated at a high rate of speed and fled westbound, striking multiple other vehicles. A canvass for the vehicle was met with negative results. | |

A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of H Street NW. A WALES/NCIC of the driver revealed a revoked District of Columbia operators permit and no valid status in Maryland or Virginia. | |

The Complainant stated they placed their wallet in the locker room at the beginning of their work shift and when they returned at the end of their shift the wallet was gone. A canvass of the immediate area was met with negative results. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate. | |

A traffic stop was conducted in the 300 Block of Fourth Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle temporary tag revealed the tag belonged to a different vehicle. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed a suspended Virginia operators permit and no valid permit status in the District of Columbia or Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS + LOANING REGISTRATION, MISUSE OF TEMPORARY TAGS FAIL TO OBEY OFFICER RESISTING ARREST | 17:19:00 | 250811002636 | R/O observed a vehicle with no front tag at the intersection of First Street and New Jersey Avenue NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicles rear tag revealed the tag belonged to different vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of Columbus Circle NE. R/O noticed the driver exhibited signs of impairment. While conducting SFSTs, the driver refused to complete the tests. While R/O attempted to place the Suspect under arrest, the Suspect ran and ignored commands to stop. The Suspect was subsequently apprehended in the 600 Block of First Street NE. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. |
