NO PERMIT + LOANING REGISTRATION, MISUSE OF TEMPORARY TAGS 0:10:00 260103000023 R/O observed a vehicle travelling in the Unit Block of H Street NE not displaying a front tag. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the tag displayed on the vehicle was registered to another vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had no valid permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE - FIRST OFFENSE + POSSESSION OF AN OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL 1:26:00 260103000024 R/O observed a vehicle cross over the median at the I-395 entrance ramp onto the I-395 exit ramp at D Street SW and drive back onto Washington Avenue SW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 400 Block of Washington Avenue SW. R/O observed that the Suspect's eyes were bloodshot and exhibited slurred speech. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory of the Suspect's vehicle, R/O located an open container that had an odor consistent with an alcoholic beverage.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE + COUNTERFEIT TAGS 19:40:07 260103000028 R/O observed a vehicle traveling in the 600 Block of First Street NE with a temporary tag. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the tag was not on file and initiated a traffic stop in the 600 Block of North Capitol Street. Through further investigation, RO determined the tags were counterfeit. RO observed the strong odor of cannabis emitting from the vehicle. SFSTs were administered and due to multiple signs of impairment the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 20:52:00 260102000021 R/O observed a vehicle travelling in the 400 Block of C Street NE displaying an expired Maryland state rear tag. A traffic stop was conducted in the 400 Block of C Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had a Maryland Identification Card with no driving status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT + ALLOW OPERATION WITH IMPROPER TAGS 20:16:00 260102000020 R/O observed a vehicle travelling in the Unit Block of E Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle's registration revealed the vehicle's District of Columbia registration is expired. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of F Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed an expired license in the District of Columbia with no valid permit status in Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE 17:54:00 260102000016 R/O observed a vehicle displaying an expired temporary tag in the 400 Block of North Capitol Street NE. A traffic stop was conducted at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed an extraditable warrant out of Prince Georges County, Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 18:09:00 260102000017 R/O observed a vehicle in the 200 Block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE cross a solid white line before abruptly correcting to the right. R/O followed the vehicle to the 300 Block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE where the vehicle was observed drifting toward the curb before correcting toward the right before coming to a complete stop at the intersection of Fourth Street and Pennsylvania Avenue SE with the front wheels beyond the designated stop line. A traffic stop was conducted in the 400 Block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE. Upon approach, the Suspect had glassy eyes, constricted pupils, slurred speech, and spoke at a low volume. SFST'S were conducted and due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 22:18:00 260102000022 R/O observed a vehicle travelling in the 500 Block of North Capitol Street with expired Maryland tags. A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 Block of D Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had no valid permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE - FIRST OFFENSE 0:44:00 260102000006 R/O-1 and R/O-2 observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed in the 200 Block of Third Street NW. R/O's followed the vehicle and observed the driver swerve multiple times in the Unit Block to 200 Block of Constitution Avenue NE. A traffic stop was conducted in the 300 Block of Constitution Avenue NE. R/O detected an odor of alcoholic beverage emanating from the vehicle. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS + RECKLESS DRIVING POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL - VEHICLE 4:00:00 260101000002 R/O observed a vehicle driving aggressively and failing to obey traffic signs in the 500 Block of North Capitol Street. R/O initiated a traffic stop in the 1000 Block of First Street, NE. The Suspect stopped abruptly in the middle of the roadway, then reversed, causing the R/O to maneuver to avoid a collision before the vehicle came to a stop. R/O approached the vehicle and observed that the drivers eyes were bloodshot and noticed a strong odor of alcohol emitting from the drivers breath. SFSTs were conducted, and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory search of the vehicle, an open bottle of Lemon Drop Martini was found in the trunk.
