| PERMIT SUSPENDED - OAS., POSSESSION OF A PROHIBITED WEAPON-A | 16:04:00 | 2.61003E+11 | R/O observed a vehicle at 50 Columbus Circle NE displaying an expired registration. The R/O conducted a traffic stop at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed a suspended District of Columbia operator's permit and no status in Maryland or Virginia. Prior to the Suspect's arrest, the suspect revealed they had a knife on their person. R/O observed that the knife was approximately five inches in length. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory search of the vehicle, A/O found a dagger approximately ten inches in length in the inner console of the vehicle. R/O 2 responded and processed the scene. | |
| DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE | 22:20:00 | 2.61003E+11 | R/O 1 observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and not yielding at the intersection exiting the I-395 ramp onto Washington Avenue SW. R/O 1 also observed the vehicle was displaying an expired registration. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle confirmed the expired registration. A traffic stop was conducted in the 600 Block of South Capitol Street SW. Upon approach of the vehicle, R/O 1 observed a case of Modelo beer on the passenger side, the Suspect had glossy eyes and a moderate odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. A/O 1, a Certified Drug Expert, responded to the scene to conduct SFSTs. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE – 1ST OFF | 1:33:00 | 2.61003E+11 | ADDITIONAL CHARGES: POSSESSION OF AN OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL (POCA) RECKLESS DRIVING Officer Attalla (SOD-1) responded to the report of a traffic crash going southbound in the Third Street Tunnel. The Suspect stated a vehicle attempted to enter their lane causing them to hit the side walls in the tunnel several times. The damage was consistent with scrapes on the passenger side and damage to the rear side bumper. While speaking with the Suspect, the R/O observed the Suspect eyes were bloodshot red. R/O could also detect a strong odor consistent of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspects breath. SFST’s were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. Upon an inventory check of the vehicle, R/O observed a ready to drink margarita mango bottle ¾ full. The smell of the contents of the bottle had an odor consistent with an alcoholic beverage. A WALES/NCIC check of the tag revealed an expired registration. A traffic stop was conducted in the 300 Block of Maryland Avenue SW. A WALES/NCIC of the driver revealed no valid driving status in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

A traffic stop was conducted in the same location. The suspect was unable to produce a license and stated the identification card was all they had. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed an expired District of Columbia driver's license, an identification card only in Maryland and no status in Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| ASSAULT WITH A DANGEROUS WEAPON | 11:15:00 | 2.61002E+11 | RO, AO2, and AO3made contact with a Suspect wanting to make a complaint about an AOC worker blowing leaves into the Suspect face while riding a bike near Third Street and Pennsylvania Avenue NW. The Suspect stated during a verbal altercation the Suspect pulled a knife out of his bag on the AOC worker. R/O and A/O2 went hands on and placed the Suspect under arrest and transported the Suspect to Headquarters. While conducting an inventory search of the Suspects bag, A/O2 opened the bag and found the knife and took it away from the Suspects possession. A/O 4 responded and processed the scene. | |

R/O conducted a traffic stop in the same location. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had a suspended license in Maryland with no status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed the Suspect had a suspended status in Maryland and no status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. The suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. While conducting an inventory search of the vehicle, R/O located a 12oz green plastic hefty cup with a clear liquid inside the cup that had an odor consistent with an alcoholic beverage. (tc/jv) | |
| LEWD, INDECENT, OR OBSCENE ACTS (DISORDERLY CONDUCT) | 15:23:00 | 2.61002E+11 | ADDITIONAL CHARGES: OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL Officer Felix (SOD-K9-3) responded to a report of a Suspect actively touching their genitals in the 500 Block of New Jersey Avenue SE. Assisting Officer Bliss (HD-3) was first on scene and observed the Suspect actively touching their genitals upon arrival. When R/O approached the Suspect, the Suspect pulled their pants up. R/O observed a cup filled with clear liquid that had a strong odor consistent with an alcoholic beverage adjacent to the Suspect. During the search incident to arrest, R/O located a half full bottle of vodka in a shopping cart that was in the Suspect's possession.
