NO PERMIT 9:25:00 251126003581 R/O observed a vehicle traveling in the Unit Block of D Street SW bearing expired Virginia temporary tags. A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 Block of D Street SW. A WALES/NCIC check of the confirmed the tags were expired. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed a suspended Virginia operators permit with no permit status in the District of Columbia or Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 11:42:00 251126003582 R/O while working the X-Ray machine in the Capitol Visitor Center, discovered a small clear vial with a white powdery substance inside the Suspects backpack. Crime scene responded and processed the scene. CSS conducted a field test, which came back positive for Ketamine. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT + IDENTITY THEFT IN THE SECOND DEGREE FAIL TO EXHIBIT LICENSE 20:58:00 251125003577 R/O observed a vehicle traveling in the 100 Block of H Street NW bearing expired Maryland temporary tags. A WALES/NCIC check of the confirmed the tags were expired. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of H Street NW. The driver failed to exhibit an operators permit and provided a name and D.O.B. to verify their identity. That name and D.O.B. belonged to another individual. A WALES/NCIC check of the drivers true name, revealed no operators permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 9:45:00 251125003564 R/O observed an individual enter the screening line in the Capitol Visitor Center. During the process, an alert showed there were items in the individuals pant pocket. Once items were removed, R/O noticed a plastic zip-lock baggie containing a white powdery substance. CSS responded to the scene and field tested the substance positive for cocaine. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DEFACE PRIVATE/PUBLIC PROPERTY 21:35:00 251124003562 R/O-1 amd R/O-2 observed an individual writing with a black marker on the glass wall of a bus stop in the 600 Block of North Capitol Street NW. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene.
NO PERMIT 18:49:00 251124003561 R/O observed a vehicle traveling northbound in the Unit Block of Third Street NW, with no headlights or taillights illuminated. A traffic stop was conducted at Third and C Streets NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed no valid operators permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT + CONTEMPT OF CPO/TPO 11:25:00 251124003556 R/O observed a vehicle traveling in the 100 Block of D Street NE with an expired registration. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 300 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. A WALES/NCIC of the driver revealed an expired Texas operators permit, with no status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. A WALES/NCIC check also revealed an active temporary protection order against the driver issued by the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. At the time of the stop, the petitioner of that order was sitting in the passenger seat of the vehicle, which was in violation of said order. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - MISUSE OF TAGS + TRAFFIC - NO VALID PERMIT 1:24:00 251123003546 R/O observed a vehicle at the intersection of New Jersey Avenue and H Street NW, make a right turn on red violating a No Turn on Red sign. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of H Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle revealed an expired registration. A WALES/NCIC check revealed a suspended license in Maryland and no driving status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE / FIRST OFFENSE + MISUSE OF TEMPORARY TAGS COUNTERFEIT VEHICLE DOCS 18:39:00 251122003545 R/O observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed in the 700 Block of North Capitol Street NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of D Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check on the registration revealed, Not on File. R/O suspected the registration was fraudulent based on the incorrect alphanumeric sequence. Upon approach of the vehicle, R/O advised the Suspect their tags were expired. The Suspect called a friend who provided a Delaware registration. R/O detected a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. SFSTS were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE - 1ST OFF 3:45:00 251122003542 R/O observed a vehicle traveling eastbound in the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NW with an open trunk. The vehicle failed to come to a complete stop while making a right turn on a red signal at the intersection of North Capitol Street and Massachusetts Avenue NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 400 Block of First Street NW. While speaking with the driver, R/O noticed the driver had glassy eyes and appeared to be dazed while slow to respond to questions. SFSTs were conducted and with numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
