NO PERMIT 17:03:00 251101003366 R/O observed a vehicle traveling in the 100 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE displaying an expired registration. A traffic stop was conduced in the 500 Block of C Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a cancelled driving status in the District of Columbia and no status in Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT + ALTERED REGISTRATION 11:40:00 251031003359 R/O conducted a random WALES/NCIC check of a tag affixed to a vehicle travelling through the 700 Block of Second Street NW. The inquiry revealed the tag was expired since 2020. A traffic stop was conducted in the 1000 Block of New Jersey Avenue NW. R/O observed the tag displayed on the vehicle had an expiration date of 09/27/2025. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
PERMIT REVOKED - OAR 0:09:00 251031003356 R/O observed a vehicle with expired tags travelling in the Unit Block of I Street SE. A traffic stop was subsequently conducted at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed their District of Columbia operator's permit was revoked. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE - SECOND OFFENSE + POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL - VEHICLE NO PERMIT 1:42:00 251031003357 R/O-1 and R/O-2 observed a vehicle proceed through a solid red traffic light at the intersection of Louisiana Avenue and North Capitol Street. A traffic stop was subsequently conducted in the Unit Block of D Street NW. During the course of the stop, R/O-1 detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the driver's breath. Furthermore, the driver's speech was slurred, and their eyes were red and glassy. When asked, the driver refused to submit to SFSTS but consented to a search of the vehicle. During that search, multiple partially full, clearly labeled containers of alcohol were discovered in plain view. Additionally, a WALES/NCIC check of driver revealed they had a suspended Virginia operator's permit and no permit status in the District of Columbia or Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 21:42:00 251031003363 R/O observed a vehicle fail to utilize a turn signal. A traffic stop was conducted in the 400 block of New Jersey Avenue NW. A WALES/ NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 16:34:00 251030003353 R/O observed a vehicle with expired tags travelling in the Unit Block of Independence Avenue SE. A traffic stop was subsequently conducted at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed they had a suspended Maryland operator's permit and no permit status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 10:47:00 251029003345 R/O observed a vehicle displaying expired registration traveling eastbound in the 500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE. A traffic stop was conducted in the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no driving status in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE - FIRST OFFENSE, POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL - VEHICLE 0:47:00 251029003344 R/O and A/O responded to the 500 Block of South Capitol Street SW for the report of a vehicle stopped in the roadway with the driver unconscious. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the same location. SFTST's were conducted and due to multiple signs of impairment the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory search of the vehicle, R/O discovered a 750 ml bottle of alcoholic beverage on the rear passenger side floorboard.
SIMPLE ASSAULT, POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE -MISD, FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE 14:13:00 251029003346 R/O and A/O observed an individual with pieces of salad on her head and performed a welfare check in the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. While conversing, the individual stated she was assaulted by the Suspect a few moments ago. The Suspect was still located nearby, but denied involvement. R/O recognized signs of the alleged assault on the Complainant and the Suspect was placed under arrest. While conducting the search incident to arrest, R/O discovered a white powdery substance in the Suspect's pocket and a green leafy substance in the Suspect's bag. The Suspect was transported to Headquarters for processing. During processing, a WALES/NCIC check with an updated name revealed an extraditable warrant from the U.S. Marshal Service.
UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A VEHICLE (UUV), THEFT I - STOLEN AUTO 19:01:00 251028003342 R/O and A/O were flagged down in the 200 Block of F Street NE by a Complainant who stated his motorcycle was taken without consent by a group of juveniles. The Suspects then fled Eastbound towards the 300 Block of F Street NE. An immediate canvass of the area yielded negative results.
