NO PERMIT 19:49:00 260211000402 R/O observed a vehicle traveling southbound in the 600 block of North Capitol Street NW with no running headlights. The vehicle also failed to maintain lanes as it continued eastbound in the Unit block of Columbus Circle NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 400 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no driving status in Maryland, Virginia or the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
FAILURE TO IDENTIFY SELF 1:28:00 260211000376 R/O observed a Suspect walking southbound on the sidewalk parallel to Louisiana Avenue NW. The Suspect took a right turn on C Street and walked by various trucks. The Suspect attempted to open the doors of the trucks until one opened and R/O observed them get into the truck. R/O approached the truck and proceeded to stop and detain the Suspect for entering the truck. When asked by R/O to provide identification, the Suspect refused. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
ASSAULT WITH A DANGEROUS WEAPON X3 + DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY LESS THEN $1000, POSS PROHIBITED WEAPON, OTHER POSS PROHIBITED WEAPON 7:25:00 260211000379 R/O responded to the 500 Block of South Capitol Street SW for the report of a fight. R/O arrived at the location and observed a vehicle with its driver side front window shattered and four individuals who were driving through the area in the road in a verbal confrontation. The Complainant stated they were driving when they were cut off by the Suspects. The Suspects then followed and stopped the Complainant. The Suspects got out of the vehicle with a baseball bat and struck the drivers side window of the Complainants vehicle. The Complainant exited the vehicle and the Suspect proceeded to strike them multiple times with a closed fist. The additional Suspect then picked up the bat and struck the Complainant with it. CIS was notified and conducted interviews. CSS responded and processed the scene. The Suspects were placed under arrested and transported to Headquarters for processing. During a search incident to arrest a pair of brass knuckles was located in the Suspects bag.
NO PERMIT + FAILURE TO EXHIBIT LICENSE 17:38:00 260210000369 R/O observed a vehicle traveling southbound in the Unit Block of Third Street SW. A WALES/NCIC check of the registration returned an expired registration. A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 Block of Independence Avenue SW. The Suspect did not have their permit and instead provided a passport. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no driving status in Maryland, Virginia or the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 8:03:00 260210000354 R/O observed a vehicle traveling with expired registration in the 400 Block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 300 Block of Third Street SE. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed an expired permit out of the District of Columbia and no valid status in Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT + FAILURE TO EXHIBIT LICENSE 21:12:00 260210000373 R/O observed a vehicle traveling southbound on the 600 Block of North Capitol Street NW without its headlights illuminated. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of Columbus Circle NE. The Suspect stated they did not currently have a valid drivers license and were in the process of obtaining one. The Suspect initially provided a false name but then gave their real name. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect confirmed no valid driving status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DEFACING GOVERNMENT PROPERTY 21:04:00 260211000375 R/O observed a spray paint tag on the sidewalk of the 100 Block of Pennsylvania Avenue NW. An observation of the immediate area found no signs of additional graffiti or spray paint cans. CSS responded to process the scene.
NO PERMIT 15:25:00 260209000351 R/O observed a vehicle displaying an expired tag in the 100 Block of First Street NW. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the Unit Block of First Street SW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a revoked status through Virginia and no valid status in the District of Columbia or Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE - 3RD OR SUBSEQUENT OFFENSE 9:22:00 260208000345 R/O observed a vehicle in the Unit Block of Louisiana Avenue NW with an obstructed tag. RO detected the odor of marijuana while following the vehicle and a traffic stop was conducted in the 300 Block of Constitution Avenue NW. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS + TRAFFIC ACCIDENT- LEAVING SCENE-PROPERTY DAMAGE 2:01:00 260207000341 R/O was approached by a victim of a hit and run that occurred in the 900 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NW. The Victim followed the Suspect and pointed out the striking vehicle. R/O initiated a traffic stop in the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NW. Upon approach, R/O observed the Suspects eyes were glassy and speech slurred. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. The on scene crash investigation revealed the Suspect struck the victim's vehicle while the victim was parked in the 900 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NW. The Suspect then drove away eastbound striking a second vehicle in the 400 Block of New York Avenue NW. CSS responded and processed the scene.
