| SIMPLE ASSAULT, POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE -MISD, FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE | 14:13:00 | 251029003346 | R/O and A/O observed an individual with pieces of salad on her head and performed a welfare check in the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. While conversing, the individual stated she was assaulted by the Suspect a few moments ago. The Suspect was still located nearby, but denied involvement. R/O recognized signs of the alleged assault on the Complainant and the Suspect was placed under arrest. While conducting the search incident to arrest, R/O discovered a white powdery substance in the Suspect's pocket and a green leafy substance in the Suspect's bag. The Suspect was transported to Headquarters for processing. During processing, a WALES/NCIC check with an updated name revealed an extraditable warrant from the U.S. Marshal Service. | |

A traffic stop was conducted in the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no driving status in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

R/O conducted a traffic stop in the same location. SFTST's were conducted and due to multiple signs of impairment the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory search of the vehicle, R/O discovered a 750 ml bottle of alcoholic beverage on the rear passenger side floorboard. | |

The Suspects then fled Eastbound towards the 300 Block of F Street NE. An immediate canvass of the area yielded negative results. | |

A WALES/NCIC inquiry revealed the individual was subject to an arrest warrant originating with the District of Columbia's Metropolitan Police Department (MPD). Once Communications confirmed the warrant, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to the MPD's Fifth District Station for processing. | |

A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 Block of Fourth Street SE. Upon approach, R/O observed an open bottle of alcohol on the passenger side floorboard. During the course of the stop, R/O detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the Suspect's breath. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had no driving status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia. SFSTs were conducted. Due to numerous clues of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 100 Block of Independence Avenue SE. R/O observed the Suspect had slurred speech and their eyes were bloodshot. Additionally, the Suspect admitted to previously consuming marijuana. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous clues of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. |
