| DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE - FIRST OFFENSE, POSS OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE - MISD | 23:03:00 | 251222003793 | R/O observed a vehicle traveling eastbound in 300 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NW with no running headlights or taillights. A traffic stop was conducted in the 700 Block of Second Street NW. While speaking to the driver, R/O could detect a moderate odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the driver's breath. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During a search incident to the arrest, R/O located a clear plastic bag containing a while powdery substance in the Suspects pants pocket. A/O responded to process the scene. The white powdery substance presumptively tested positive for cocaine. | |
| NO VALID PERMIT | 0:44:00 | 251221003785 | R/O observed a vehicle traveling with an expired registration and no headlights activated in the 600 Block of New Jersey Avenue NW. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 400 Block of First Street NW. A WALES/ NCIC check through USCP Communications revealed the driver had a suspended license out of Maryland with no driving status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE - FIRST OFFENSE, POSSESSION OF AN OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL NO PERMIT RESISTSING ARREST | 0:03:00 | 251221003784 | R/O observed a vehicle pass through a solid red light at a high rate of speed in the intersection of Jefferson and Third Streets SW. When the R/O attempted to conduct a traffic stop in the 200 Block of Independence Avenue SW, the vehicle was slow to respond and continued driving. R/O subsequently stopped the vehicle at the intersection of Washington Avenue and Second Street SW. During the course of the investigation, R/O detected a faint odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's breath. SFSTs were conducted. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest. While being placed in handcuffs, the Suspect raised their arms and pulled away from the R/O and A/O. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no valid permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. During an inventory search of the vehicle, R/O located two containers on the passenger floorboard that had an odor consistent with an alcoholic beverage. The Suspect was transported to Headquarters for processing. During processing, the Suspect refused to be searched and continued to pull away from the R/O. | |

R/O activated their lights, sirens, and megaphone to get the vehicle to move along but all directions were ignored. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the same location. While speaking with the driver, R/O observed slurred speech and detected a faint odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the vehicle. SFSTs were conducted. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE - FIRST OFFENSE, POSSESSION OF AN OPEN CONATINER OF ALCOHOL (POCA) | 4:03:00 | 251220003778 | R/O observed a vehicle with its hazards on sit through the light cycle at the intersection of South Capitol and I Streets SW. A welfare check was conducted at the same location. Upon approach, R/O observed the Suspect sitting in the driver's seat with their head slumped forward. R/O began to knock on the window and yelled for the driver to wake up. After a few attempts, the Suspect regained consciousness. While conversing with the Suspect, the R/O detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from the vehicle. SFST's were conducted. During a search incident to arrest, A/O found a 1/3 fulll 375 ML bottle of Teremana Resposado located in the right calf pocket of the Suspect coveralls. Due to numerous signs of impairment the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE - FIRST OFFENSE, POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE - MISD POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL | 0:12:00 | : 251220003776 | R/O observed a vehicle fail to maintain their lane in the 400 Block of Washington Avenue SW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 Block of Washington Avenue SW. Upon approach, R/O detected an overwhelming odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from inside the vehicle and from the Suspect's breath. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was arrested. Prior to being released from the scene, the passenger attempted to remove a black plastic bag from the back seat. R/O seized the bag which contained a half-full bottle of liquid that had an odor consistent with an alcoholic beverage. During a search incident to arrest, R/O located on the Suspect's person a clear plastic twist baggy containing two yellow rocklike substances, a blue zip containing a small amount of white powder, and a three-inch plastic straw with white residue on one end. A/O responded to process the scene and field tested the substances positive for cocaine The Suspect was transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| THEFT I | 1:17:00 | 251220003777 | R/O, while on routine patrol, was flagged down for a report of a theft at the intersection of Second and F Street NE. The Complainant stated the Suspect was seen by their belongings, while stuffing a bag in their hands with those same items. The Complainant confronted the Suspect where the Suspect then ran away. R/O obtained a description of the Suspect and later observed an individual matching the description in the 300 Block of H Street NE. R/O detained the Suspect and conducted an show-up that the Complainant positively identified the Suspect. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

The Complainant stated that on December 18, 2025, while attending a work holiday event in the break room, the Suspect made verbal threats and attempted to swing at the Complainant's head. S/A was notified and will continue to investigate. | |
| UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A VEHICLE - FELONY, UNLAWFUL ENTRY OF A MOTOR VEHICHLE NO VALID PERMIT RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY - $1000 & OVER - FELONY | 20:49:00 | 251219003775 | R/O, while on routine patrol, observed a vehicle traveling Westbound in the 200 Block of C Street SW matching the description of a stolen vehicle. A WALES/ NCIC check of the vehicle revealed it was reported stolen out of Fairfax County, VA. R/O conducted a felony stop at the intersection of Third and C Streets SW. While on scene, the Suspect revealed they were given the vehicle from a friend to use for a couple of weeks. Both Suspects stated they were unaware that the vehicle was stolen. A WALES/ NCIC check of the Suspect through USCP Communications revealed the driver only had an Identification card in the District of Columbia and no driving status in the Maryland or Virginia. Both Suspects were arrested and transported to Headquarters for processing. A/O responded to process the scene and the vehicle. S/A was notified and will continue to investigate. | |
| TRAFFIC- LEAVING SCENE- PROPERY DAMAGE | 10:00:00 | 251219003771 | R/O responded to a report of a damaged vehicle in the 100 Block of Second Street NE. The Complainant stated that he was parallel parking when the Suspect attempted to pass his vehicle striking the Complainant's right front bumper. The Suspect failed to pull over and fled the scene. S/A responded and processed the scene. |
