NO PERMIT 16:34:00 251030003353 R/O observed a vehicle with expired tags travelling in the Unit Block of Independence Avenue SE. A traffic stop was subsequently conducted at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed they had a suspended Maryland operator's permit and no permit status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
SIMPLE ASSAULT, POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE -MISD, FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE 14:13:00 251029003346 R/O and A/O observed an individual with pieces of salad on her head and performed a welfare check in the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. While conversing, the individual stated she was assaulted by the Suspect a few moments ago. The Suspect was still located nearby, but denied involvement. R/O recognized signs of the alleged assault on the Complainant and the Suspect was placed under arrest. While conducting the search incident to arrest, R/O discovered a white powdery substance in the Suspect's pocket and a green leafy substance in the Suspect's bag. The Suspect was transported to Headquarters for processing. During processing, a WALES/NCIC check with an updated name revealed an extraditable warrant from the U.S. Marshal Service.
NO PERMIT 10:47:00 251029003345 R/O observed a vehicle displaying expired registration traveling eastbound in the 500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE. A traffic stop was conducted in the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no driving status in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE - FIRST OFFENSE, POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL - VEHICLE 0:47:00 251029003344 R/O and A/O responded to the 500 Block of South Capitol Street SW for the report of a vehicle stopped in the roadway with the driver unconscious. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the same location. SFTST's were conducted and due to multiple signs of impairment the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory search of the vehicle, R/O discovered a 750 ml bottle of alcoholic beverage on the rear passenger side floorboard.
UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A VEHICLE (UUV), THEFT I - STOLEN AUTO 19:01:00 251028003342 R/O and A/O were flagged down in the 200 Block of F Street NE by a Complainant who stated his motorcycle was taken without consent by a group of juveniles. The Suspects then fled Eastbound towards the 300 Block of F Street NE. An immediate canvass of the area yielded negative results.
NO PERMIT 20:56:00 251028003343 R/O and A/O observed a motorcycle using a handheld device at the intersection of New Jersey and Independence Avenues SE. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of Independence Avenue SE. Upon initiation of the traffic stop, R/O observed no tags displayed on the motorcycle. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect through USCP Communications revealed no permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DEFACE PRIVATE/PUBLIC PROPERTY 20:13:00 251027003337 R/O while on patrol observed multiple stickers on two light poles in the Unit Block of Independence Avenue SW. Immediate attempts to locate the Suspect met with negative results. A/O-1 and A/O-2 responded to process the scene. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate.
THEFT FIRST DEGREE (ALL OTHER LARCENY) 7:00:00 251027003328 R/O conducted a routine security check on an individual who submitted themselves to the administrative screening process at the Offsite Delivery Center. A WALES/NCIC inquiry revealed the individual was subject to an arrest warrant originating with the District of Columbia's Metropolitan Police Department (MPD). Once Communications confirmed the warrant, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to the MPD's Fifth District Station for processing.
NO PERMIT, DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE - FIRST OFFENSE, POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE IN MOTOR VEHICLE 1:07:00 251026003324 R/O observed a vehicle traveling with no running headlights in the 200 Block of Fourth Street NE. A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 Block of Fourth Street SE. Upon approach, R/O observed an open bottle of alcohol on the passenger side floorboard. During the course of the stop, R/O detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the Suspect's breath. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had no driving status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia. SFSTs were conducted. Due to numerous clues of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE - FIRST OFFENSE 3:34:00 251026003325 R/O observed a vehicle drive through a solid red light at the intersection of Independence Avenue and South Capitol Street. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 100 Block of Independence Avenue SE. R/O observed the Suspect had slurred speech and their eyes were bloodshot. Additionally, the Suspect admitted to previously consuming marijuana. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous clues of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
