RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY $1000 OR MORE 10:31:00 260722002400 R/O 1 observed an electric dirt bike parked on the sidewalk in the Unit Block of E Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check was conducted on the VIN and revealed the dirt bike was reported stolen out of the District of Columbia. R/O 2 responded and processed the scene. While the scene was being processed the Suspect approached the R/O 1 and asked what they were doing with their bike. The Suspect was unable to produce any documentation or proof of purchase for the dirt bike. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
CROWDING, OBSTRUCTING, OR INCOMMODING 15:14:00 260721002392 R/O observed four individuals demonstrating in a Senate office building room. One of the Suspects began demonstrating while a committee was taking place. The individual was given one warning to cease and desist their demonstration activity but refused to comply. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT, LOANING REGISTRATION AND MISUSE OF TEMPORARY TAGS 9:06:17 260721002382 R/O observed a vehicle traveling southbound in the 800 Block of South Capitol Street SW. R/O conducted a WALES/NCIC check which revealed the tags belong to another vehicle. R/O conducted a WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect which revealed no driving status in Washington, DC, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE - 1ST OFFENSE 3:30:00 260719002366 R/O observed a vehicle commit multiple traffic infractions between the 400 and 500 Blocks of North Capitol Street. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of Louisiana Avenue NW. During the course of the investigation, R/O detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's breath. SFSTs were conducted. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE-1ST OFFENSE AND NO PERMIT 14:23:51 260718002360 R/O observed a vehicle traveling without headlights running in the 900 Block of South Capitol Street. A traffic stop was conducted in the 800 Block of South Capitol Street. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. During the course of the investigation, R/O detected a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. SFSTs were conducted. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS, AND POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL (POCA) 0:36:00 260718002357 R/O observed a vehicle traveling eastbound in the 100 Block of M Street SE changing lanes abruptly and weaving in and out of traffic. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 600 Block of M Street SE. While speaking with the driver, R/O smelled a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle and the driver's eyes were watery and glassy. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory search of the vehicle, an open bottle of DCity Daiquiri was discovered on the rear floorboard which contained a liquid consistent with the smell of an alcohol beverage.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 21:00:00 260718002364 R/O observed a vehicle traveling with no headlights running in the 600 Block of North Capitol Street. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of D Street NW. Upon approach, R/O observed two solo cups in the center console and detected a strong odor of cannabis emanating from inside the vehicle. SFSTs were conducted. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS, CARRYING A PISTOL WITHOUT A LICENSE (CPWL), UNREGISTERED FIREARM - MISD, UNREGISTERED AMMUNITION - MISD, AND RECKLESS DRIVING - MISD 1:30:30 260718002359 R/O observed a vehicle traveling eastbound in the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NW pass through a red traffic signal at the intersection at North Capitol Street NW. The vehicle came to an abrupt stop at First and Massachusetts Avenue and First Street NE. The vehicle straddled several lanes in the Unit Block of Columbus Circle NE and 100 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. R/O observed the driver's eyes were glassy and red and their speech was slurred. R/O also detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the driver's breath. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. An inventory search of the vehicle revealed a handgun, three magazines and five rounds of ammunition in the trunk. R/O 2 responded and processed the scene. An inquiry through the Metropolitan Police Department Gun Registration Unit revealed the handgun was stolen, and the Suspect did not possess a license to carry a firearm or ammunition in the District of Columbia.
NO PERMIT, LOANING REGISTRATION, AND MISUSE OF TEMPORARY TAGS 17:08:00 260718002363 R/O observed a vehicle traveling in the 600 block of North Capitol Street displaying an expired dealer's tag. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of Louisiana Avenue NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a suspended license out of Maryland and no valid status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS, AND POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL (POCA) 1:31:00 260718002358 R/O observed a vehicle traveling in the wrong lane in the 200 Block of Washington Avenue SW. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the same location. Upon approach R/O detected the strong odor of an alcohol beverage emitting from the vehicle. R/O noticed the driver's eyes were watery and glassy. The driver admitted to drinking tequila earlier in the night. R/O noticed an open bottle of alcohol on the passenger seat. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
