DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE - SECOND OFFENSE + POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL - VEHICLE 19:26:00 251203003639 R/O observed a vehicle, in the 200 Block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE, pass through multiple red stop lights. A traffic stop was conducted in the 300 Block of Independence Avenue SE. While speaking the Suspect, RO detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's breath. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory search of the vehicle, R/O discovered a white water bottle with a liquid that smelled consistent an alcoholic beverage, one 750ml bottle of Vodka half full and one 375ml of Gin quarter full, in a backpack, on the back passenger seat.
POSSESSION OF UNREGISTERED AMMUNITION 11:54:00 251203003634 R/O responded to offsite screening for a report of a firearm magazine. An administrative search revealed a magazine containing nine rounds of ammunition. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE - FIRST OFFENSE 20:03:00 251202003623 R/O observed a vehicle fail to maintain its lane of travel while turning, without the use of a turn signal, into the Unit Block of D Street NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 Block of D Street NW. During the course of the stop, R/O detected an odor of burnt marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. SFSTs were subsequently conducted. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
UNLAWFUL ACTIVITIES + UNLAWFUL POSSESSION/TRANSFER OF A LARGE CAPACITY AMMUNITION FEEDING DEVICE CARRYING A LICENSED PISTOL IN A PROHIBITED LOCATION 15:19:00 251201003607 R/O observed the Suspect enter a door in a Senate Office Building and place their bag on the x-ray machine. RO observed the x-ray alert tor ammunition, a physical search of the bag revealed a firearm. The firearm had a magazine containing 14 rounds of 9mm ammunition. CSS responded and processed the scene. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 19:00:00 251201003609 R/O observed a vehicle fail to yield therefore nearly striking pedestrians in a crosswalk in the 900 Block of First Street SE. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 900 Block of Second Street SE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed a suspended drivers license in Maryland and no permit status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 13:18:00 251201003605 R/O observed a vehicle traveling in the Unit Block of Independence Avenue SE with an expired tag. R/O conducted a traffic stop was in the 100 Block of Independence Avenue SE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had a Suspended license out of Virginia and no status in the District of Columbia or Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - NO VALID PERMIT + TRAFFIC - ALTERED TAGS 21:20:00 251130003602 R/O while on routine patrol, observed a vehicle traveling southbound in the 600 Block of North Capitol Street NW displaying an illegible rear tag. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the Unit Block of Louisiana Avenue NW. A WALES/ NCIC check of the driver revealed a suspended license in North Carolina with no driving status in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. A WALES/ NCIC check of the vehicle revealed an expired tag and no valid registration. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY OF A MOTOR VEHICLE + THEFT SECOND DEGREE 0:54:00 251201003603 R/O responded to a report of a vehicle break-in in the Unit Block of E Street NE. The Complainant stated they had parked the vehicle November 22, 2025 at approximately 0030hrs and returned to the vehicle December 1, 2025 at approximately 0030hrs and found his eye glass case on the ground, the vehicle unlocked and the contents of the glove box spread across the passenger seat and floorboard. The Complainant also stated they were missing several gift cards. CSS responded and processed the scene. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate.
PERMIT REVOKED - OAR + LOANING REGISTRATION,MISUSE OF TEMPORARY TAGS 1:42:00 251130003600 R/O observed a vehicle driving eastbound in the Unit Block of I Street SE bearing a Virginia tag. A WALES/NCIC check of the tags returned to different vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted at the intersection of Second and I Streets SE. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed a revoked license in the District of Columbia and no status in Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE - FIRST OFF + POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAIINER OF ALCOHOL - VEHICLE 0:28:00 251130003599 R/O observed a vehicle traveling eastbound in the Unit Block of Constitution Avenue NE displaying an illegible paper tag. A traffic stop was conducted at the same location. When speaking to the driver, R/O detected a strong odor of alcohol emitting from the drivers breath. SFSTs were conducted, and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory search of the vehicle, R/O found an open bottle of beer on the passenger-side floorboard.
