The Complainant stated they had parked the vehicle November 22, 2025 at approximately 0030hrs and returned to the vehicle December 1, 2025 at approximately 0030hrs and found his eye glass case on the ground, the vehicle unlocked and the contents of the glove box spread across the passenger seat and floorboard. The Complainant also stated they were missing several gift cards. CSS responded and processed the scene. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate. | |

SFSTs were conducted, and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory search of the vehicle, R/O found an open bottle of beer on the passenger-side floorboard. | |

When speaking to the driver, R/O detected a strong odor of alcohol emitting from the drivers breath, as well as delayed responses to questions. SFSTs were conducted, and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

On the third light cycle, the Suspect made a left turn onto New Jersey Avenue SE. A traffic stop was conducted in the 1200 Block of New Jersey Avenue SE. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle revealed negative results. Upon approach, R/O observed a water bottle in the cup holder filled with a cigarette bud floating in a brown substance with green buds. R/O also observed the Suspects slurred speech. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported for processing. | |

A traffic stop was conducted in the 900 Block of South Capitol Street SW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a valid driving status. Upon approach, R/O observed the Suspect eyes were bloodshot red and the Suspect was slow to respond to questions. The Suspect admitted to smoking marijuana four hours prior. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported for processing. | |
| POSSESSION OF UNREGISTERED FIREARM / UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A FIREARM OR DESTRUCTIVE DEVICE + POSSESSION OF UNREGISTERED AMMUNITION PRESENT IN MOTOR VEHICLE CONTAINING FIREARM | 0:01:00 | 251125003588 | R/O-1 and R/O-2 observed a vehicle operating without running lights fail to maintain its lane of travel while proceeding through the 200 block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. A traffic stop was conducted in the 300 block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. During the course of the stop, what appeared to be a firearms case was observed within the passenger compartment of the vehicle. When asked about the case, the driver advised it contained a shotgun and some ammunition. Furthermore, the driver stated they had been driving with the firearm in the vehicle for multiple days. A subsequent search verified the case contained an unloaded 12-guage shotgun and five (5) rounds of ammunition. An inquiry through the Metropolitan Police Department's Gun Registration Unit revealed neither the firearm nor its ammunition were registered in the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded to process the scene. CIS was advised of the offense. |
