DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE AND POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL 3:08:00 260703002204 R/O observed a vehicle idling about two feet from the curb in the Unit Block of G Street NW with their hazard lights on. R/O approached the vehicle and noticed the driver's head was down and their eyes were closed. R/O also observed an open bottle of tequila on the floorboard. R/O knocked on the window, woke the driver and noticed their bloodshot eyes. SFSTs were administered and due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT, LOANING REGISTRATION AND MISUSE OF TEMPORARY TAGS 1:25:00 260703002203 R/O observed a vehicle traveling in the Unit Block of H Street NE with an expired registration. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle confirmed the expired status along with the registration belonging to a different vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted in the 300 Block of H Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed no valid driving status in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE 17:26:00 260702002198 R/O responded to the James Madison Memorial Building regarding an individual being detained matching the description of a wanted person. A WALES/NCIC check revealed an active warrant held by Prince George's County Maryland and confirmed through USCP Communications as fully extraditable. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
BENCH WARRANT 20:20:00 260701002182 R/O observed wanted Suspect in the Unit block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. A WALES/NCIC check was conducted and the warrant confirmed. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
STOLEN TAG 10:54:00 260701002171 R/O responded to the Thurgood Marshall Federal Judiciary Building for the report of a stolen tag. The Complainant stated they parked their vehicle on June 18th at approximately 1000 hours and when they returned July 1st the front license plate had been removed. A canvas of the area was met with negative results. CID was notified and will continue to investigate.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE - FIRST OFFENSE 1:57:00 260701002166 R/O observed a vehicle traveling southbound in the 500 Block of North Capitol Street NW drive through a solid red turn signal and made several other traffic violations. A traffic stop was conducted in the 300 Block of First Street NW. While speaking with the driver, R/O detected a moderate odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the vehicle. The driver's had watery and glassy eyes and their speech was slurred. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
CROWDING, OBSTRUCTING, OR INCOMMODING 13:16:00 260701002174 R/O while on patrol responded to the House Steps of the U.S. Capitol Building for the report of an active demonstration. Upon arrival, R/O observed an individual holding up a sign in an area that is illegal to demonstrate. The Suspect was given multiple warnings to cease and desist their demonstration activity but failed to do so. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY LESS THAN $1000; UNLAWFUL ENTRY OF A MOTOR VEHICLE 8:52:00 260701002169 R/O responded to New Jersey Avenue and K Street SE for a report of damage to property. Upon arrival, R/O observed a vehicle parked in the 100 Block of K Street SE with the right passenger window broken out and laying on the ground. The Complainant noticed their vehicle glove box and console had been opened, but nothing was taken. A/O-1 and A/O-2 responded and processed the scene. S/A was notified and will continue to investigate.
POSSESSION PROHIBITED WEAPON 10:33:00 260701002170 R/O observed an individual enter the Lower Independence Avenue Door of the Rayburn House Office Building and place their bag through the x-ray machine. During the screening process, R/O observed what appeared to be a sharp object on the x-ray monitor. An administrative search of the bag was conducted and revealed a knife with a spring assisted blade approximately 4 inches in length with a button on the handle. CSS responded and processed the scene. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT - SECOND OFFENSE; LOANING REGISTRATION, MISUE OF TEMPORARY TAGS 7:46:00 260701002168 R/O observed a vehicle traveling southbound in the 600 Block of North Capitol Street NW with a suspicious tag. A WALES/NCIC check of the tag revealed the registration was not on file message. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of Louisiana Avenue NW. A WALES/NCIC of the driver revealed no driver's permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
