| UNLAWFUL ENTRY - MISD | 6:25:00 | 251010003216 | R/O and A/O observed an individual walk into North Door of the USCP Headquarters Building without authorization. The Suspect was informed multiple times after attempting to make entry prior that the building is not open to the public and they are not authorized to enter unless directed by an officer. R/O and A/O stopped the Suspect in the same location. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to South Door of Headquarters for processing. | |
| POSSESSION OF PROHIBITED WEAPON | 14:00:00 | 251010003222 | R/O responded to lookout put out through the USCP dispatch. The lookout was for a man leaving the scene of a suspicious vehicle with possible explosives inside. While near the Northwest Drive of the Capitol, USCP units called out via radio of an individual matching the description. R/O arrived and stopped the Suspect. The Suspect provided their identifying information voluntarily and the vehicle he stated that he drove matched the description of the suspicious vehicle. A frisk of the Suspect was conducted. During the frisk, a knife was found on the Suspect's front left pocket. A sweep of the Suspect and their personal belongings by a K-9 unit had a positive hit. During the investigation of the vehicle, a machete was located in the pickup bed on the top of the driver side rear wheel well. A can of orange bear spray was located in the front cup holder and a can of black bear spray was located in the front passenger seat back pocket. During the inventory search of the Suspect's vehicle, three additional knives were located. The machete and knives all had blades over three inches in length. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE | 20:26:00 | 251010003223 | R/Oobserved a vehicle traveling south in the 600 Block of North Capitol Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle revealed the tags were expired. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 100 Block of D Street NW. While conversing with the Suspect, R/O noticed a moderately strong odor consistent with cannabis emanating from the inside of the vehicle. R/O also observed that the Suspect had a lighter on their lap. SFST's were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| LEAVING AFTER COLLIDING - PROPERTY DAMAGE | 9:59:00 | 251009003209 | R/O responded to a report of a traffic accident in the Unit Block of D Street NW. Upon arriving on scene, R/O discovered a vehicle with visible damage to the rear passenger door. Per the Complainant, an individual riding a scooter struck the door as a passenger exited the vehicle. The striking vehicle then fled the scene without stopping. Initial attempts to identify the striking vehicle met with negative results. | |

A traffic stop was conducted in the 400 Block of Second Street NE. Upon approach, R/O smelled an odor of alcohol emanating from the driver's breath and observed their eyes were glassy. SFSTs were conducted and due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 Block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed they had a suspended Maryland operator's permit, an expired District of Columbia operator's permit, and no permit status in Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| CARRYING A LICENSED PISTOL IN A PROHIBITED LOCATION | 11:33:00 | 251008003197 | R/O responded to the Unit Block of Columbus Circle NE to assist our federal partners for the report of a firearm discovered by security in the Thurgood Marshall Federal Judiciary Building. During the screening process it was discovered the Suspect was in possession of a .32 caliber semi-automatic handgun. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported for processing. A/O responded and processed the scene. | |
| POSS PROHIBITED WEAPON, POSS OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE | 12:50:00 | 251008003199 | R/O observed an unattended bag in the 600 Block of First Street NE. R/O looked into the bag and noticed a folded pocket knife. The Suspect walked up to the R/O and claimed the bag as his property and allowed the bag to be searched. Further inspection of the pocket knife revealed the blade to be spring assisted. The Suspect was detained and while conducting a search of the Suspect, R/O discovered a white chalky substance, two small bags containing a green leafy substance, and two vials of a white powder. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| THEFT SECOND DEGREE (THEFT FROM BUILDING) | 12:30:00 | 251008003200 | R/O responded to a room in the Cannon House Office Building for the report of a theft. The Complainant stated that he left a bag with clothing items in the room on September 30, 2025 and noticed the bag was missing on October 6, 2025. All attempts to locate the items were met with negative results. S/A was notified and will continue to investigate. | |
| NO VALID PERMIT | 20:26:00 | 251008003206 | R/O observed a vehicle in the 500 Block of C Street NE displaying a Maryland tag with no sticker displaying the registration year. A traffic stop was conducted in the 700 Block of A Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect only had an identification card out of Maryland and no permit status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. |
