Upon arrival, RO observed the subject and conducted a stop in the 200 Block of Maryland Avenue SW. A frisk of the subject revealed a serrated kitchen knife approximately 6 inches in length. The Suspect was arrested and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene. CIS responded to processing. | |

| DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE-1ST OFF + POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL - VEHICLE | 0:19:00 | 250721002431 | R/O observed an unconscious individual behind the wheel of a parked vehicle with it's driver's side door fully open in the Unit Block of D Street NW. R/O initiated a welfare check and immediately detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from within the vehicle. Upon waking the occupant, R/O noticed their speech was slurred and detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from their breath. During the course of conversing with R/O, the occupant admitted to having just driven from Maryland. SFSTs were then administered. Due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. An open can containing a liquid with characteristics consistent with an alcoholic beverage was located in the center console during a subsequent inventory search of the vehicle. |
