R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 700 Block of North Capitol Street NE. R/O spoke with the driver and observed their eyes were bloodshot, and the driver was slow to respond to questions and requests. R/O could smell a moderate odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the vehicle. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory search of the vehicle, an open container of Cutwater Rum was discovered in the front driver door. | |

A traffic stop was conducted was conducted in the 200 Block of Fourth Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a suspended license out of Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transferred to Headquarters for processing. | |

A traffic stop was conducted in the 900 Block of North Capitol Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had a suspended license in District of Columbia with no valid permit status in Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| CDW - OTHER WEAPON | 10:43:00 | 250925003096 | R/O and A/O responded to the Russell Senate Office Building for a report of an individual leaving dangerous items inside an office. Upon arrival, R/O and A/O observed two instruments with one being a plastic triangle with sharp edges and the other plastic coated nails twisted and bounded. Through further investigation, it was determined the individual entered the building through security screening, dropped off the items and then left the building. A canvass of the area for the Suspect was met with negative results. S/A was notified and will continue to investigate. | |
| NO PERMIT + COUNTERFEIT TAGS POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL | 22:42:38 | 250924003090 | R/O observed a vehicle with a suspected counterfeit Virginia temporary tag, traveling eastbound in the 100 Block of C Street NW. A check confirmed the tag was not associated with an active registration. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of C Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect's Maryland driver's license revealed a suspended status out of Maryland with no valid permit out of Virginia or the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory search of the vehicle, A/O discovered an open container of alcohol behind the driver's seat on the floorboard, and a large bag of a green, leafy substance consistent with marijuana in the trunk. CSS responded to process the scene. | |

Upon arrival, R/O observed multiple suspects chanting and holding signs. The Suspects were given three warnings to cease and desist their demonstration activity but failed to stop. The Suspects were placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| LEAVING AFTER COLLIDING - PERSONAL INJURY | 20:42:00 | 250923003070 | R/O responded to the 400 Block of Seward Square SE for a report of a hit and run. Once on the scene, multiple Complainants stated a Black SUV struck their vehicles then fled the scene. V1 sustained injury and would seek personal medial attention. V1's bicycle sustained scratches and V2 Black sedan sustained damage to the passenger side front panel. The Suspect vehicle was last seen driving southbound in the 200 Block of 4th Street SE. CSS responded to process the scene and CIS has been notified for further investigation. | |
| ASSAULT ON A FEDERAL POLICE OFFICER (AGGRAVATED ASSAULT) + DISORDERLY CONDUCT, DISRUPT GATHERING | 13:23:00 | 250923003063 | R/O while on post at a Library of Congress Building, was approached by the Suspect who bypassed the screening line and began shouting. R/O instructed the Suspect to rejoin the line or exit the building. The Suspect refused and continued to cause a disruption to the screening process. R/O attempted to gain control of the Suspect, when the Suspect swung their left elbow striking the R/O in the ribs. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

R/O arrived to the same location and located the Complainant who stated they were traveling northbound in the crosswalk when a vehicle struck them. The Suspect initially appeared to pull to the curb but then fled eastbound on Independence Avenue SE. CSS responded and processed the scene. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate. |
