NO VALID PERMIT 3:30:00 260706002229 R/O was on patrol in the 400 Block of Washington Avenue SW when he observed a vehicle displaying an expired registration. A traffic stop was conducted at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed that the Suspect's driver's license was suspended in Maryland, with no driver's license status on file in the District of Columbia or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
PERMIT REVOKED - OAR 20:11:00 260706002236 R/O observed a vehicle with no tags displayed traveling in the 100 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. A traffic stop was conducted in the 600 Block of North Carolina Avenue NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a revoked status in the District of Columbia and no valid status in Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE - 1ST OFFENSE AND POSSESSION OF AN OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL 1:50:00 260705002225 R/O observed a vehicle fail to maintain their lane in the 800 Block of New Avenue SE. R/O followed the vehicle and observed it fail to maintain its lane in the 400 Block of Washington Avenue SW as well. A traffic stop was conducted on Interstate 395 northbound on ramp. Upon approach, R/O observed the heavy odor of alcohol emanating from the vehicle. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory search of the vehicle, a half-empty bottle with a odor consistent with alcohol was observed on front passenger floorboard.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY OF A MOTOR VEHICLE AND CONTEMPT - MISDEMEANOR 9:10:00 260705002226 R/O was on patrol when he observed a Suspect whom he believed to be subject to a stay-away order in the 200 Block of C Street NE. A stop was conducted at the same location. The Suspect was inside a vehicle and appeared to be manipulating wires. Further investigation revealed that the vehicle belonged to another individual and the Suspect did not have permission to be inside or operate the vehicle. The stay-away order was confirmed, and the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
PERMIT REVOKED - OAR 17:05:00 260705002227 R/O observed a vehicle traveling westbound in the Unit Block of E Street NW displaying an expired registration sticker. A traffic stop was conducted at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect's driver's license revealed, the Suspect's driving privileges were revoked in the District of Columbia, with no driving status in Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE-1ST OFF AND POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL - VEHICLE 2:28:00 260704002212 R/O observed a vehicle with no lights running in the 200 Block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE. A traffic stop was conducted in the 500 Block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE. While speaking with the Suspect, RO detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage and observed watery/glassy eyes. SFSTs were conducted. Due to numerous clues of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. An inventory search of the vehicle revealed an open container of alcohol.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE - 1ST OFFENSE AND NO PERMIT 22:18:00 260704002223 R/O was dispatched to the scene of a motorist having a medical episode in the 400 Block of Washington Avenue SW. Upon arrival, R/O observed the Suspect laying in the street next to the vehicle and going in and out of consciousness. A NCIC/WALES check revealed the Suspect's license was not valid in Florida and had no driving status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virgina. SFTSs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was transported to Headquarters for processing.
UNREGISTERED AMMO 10:36:00 260704002214 R/O1 was operating the X-Ray machine in the Capitol Visitor Center when the X-Ray machine alerted there was ammunition inside the Suspects bag. An administrative search was conducted and revealed a box containing forty-nine (49) rounds of 9mm ammunition. R/O 2 responded to process the scene. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS AND NO PERMIT 17:22:00 260704002222 R/O observed a vehicle with expired tags travelling southbound in the 600 Block of North Capitol Street NE. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of Columbus Circle NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a Virginia Identification Card with no driving status in the District of Columbia or Maryland. While speaking with the driver, R/O detected an odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT, LOANING REGISTRATION AND MISUSE OF TEMPORARY TAGS 1:25:00 260703002203 R/O observed a vehicle traveling in the Unit Block of H Street NE with an expired registration. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle confirmed the expired status along with the registration belonging to a different vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted in the 300 Block of H Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed no valid driving status in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
