POSSESSION OF UNREGISTERED AMMUNITION 8:32:00 260517001609 R/O was working the X-Ray machine at the South Capitol Street door entrance of a House Office Building. The Suspect came through screening and placed his bag down. R/O noticed a magazine containing eight rounds of 9mm ammunition. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE-1ST OFF, NO PERMIT-2ND OFFENSE, RESISTING ARREST, POSSESSION OF AN OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL 2:35:00 260517001607 R/O observed a vehicle accelerate at a high rate of speed. R/O noticed his speedometer was at 35 mph in a 25 mph zone in the 100 Block of Third Street, NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 300 Block of Constitution Avenue, NW. R/O observed an open bottle of alcohol on the rear passenger-side floorboard. R/O could smell a moderate odor of alcohol emanating from the suspect's breath. A WALES/NCIC check of the suspect revealed the suspect's license was expired in the District of Columbia and showed no status in Maryland or Virginia. The suspect refused SFSTs. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. The suspect resisted while being placed in handcuffs and while being placed in the transport vehicle.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE -2ND OFF 2:50:00 260517001608 R/O observed a vehicle fail to maintain its lane in the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue, NW. A traffic stop was conducted at the intersection of North Capitol Street and G Place, NW. Upon approach, the officer noticed an odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the Suspect's breath. The Suspect refused to perform field sobriety tests and had glassy, bloodshot eyes. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. The Suspect refused to provide a breath sample while being processed.
USE OF UNIDENTIFIED VEHICLE, UNLAWFUL DISPLAY OF TAGS, NO PERMIT 17:58:00 260516001601 R/O observed a moped in the Unit Block of Columbus Circle NE commit multiple traffic infractions, including operating with no helmet, failure to display a license plate and passing through a solid red light. A traffic stop was conducted in the 900 Block of North Capitol Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect through USCP Communications revealed no driving status in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE 2:40:00 260516001594 R/O observed a vehicle traveling eastbound in the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NW with no headlights running. The vehicle turned into the 500 Block of North Capitol Street while straddling lanes in the process. The vehicle turned into the Unit Block of E Street NW while still straddling lanes. A traffic stop was conducted in the 400 Block of First Street NW. Upon approach, R/O smelled an odor consistent with an alcoholic beverage emanating from the vehicle. The driver had a blank stare when questioned about alcohol consumption. SFST's were administered and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE, POSSESSION OF AN OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL 0:29:00 260516001593 R/O observed a vehicle with no rear lights running in the 200 Block of Third Street NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 300 Block of Pennsylvania Avenue NW. Upon approach, R/O detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the vehicle. R/O noticed the driver's eyes were bloodshot and watery and their speech was slurred. SFST's were administered and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. An inventory search of the vehicle revealed a plastic bottle with a liquid consistent with smell of an alcoholic beverage in the center console and a bottle of Tequila on the floorboard between the driver side seat and the center console.
CONTEMPT-CONDITION OF RELEASE VIOLATION 14:49:00 260515001588 R/O responded to Lower Senate Park for the report of a barred individual. A stop was conducted in the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the individual revealed an active stay away order from U.S. Capitol Grounds. The Subject was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE- 1ST OFFENCE, POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL 17:54:00 260515001591 R/O observed a vehicle traveling in the 300 Block of Fourth Street NE straddling lanes. A traffic stop was conducted in the 500 Block of C Street NE. Upon approach, R/O detected a strong odor of alcohol emanating from the vehicle. R/O noticed the driver's eyes were bloodshot and watery. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters. An inventory search of the vehicle revealed two bottles of Tequila underneath the passenger seat.
NO PERMIT 12:42:00 260513001561 R/O observed a vehicle with an expired registration traveling westbound in the Unit Block of M Street SW. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 200 Block of M Street SW. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed no driving status in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
CROWDING, OBSTRUCTING, OR INCOMMODING 11:19:00 260512001540 R/O-1 and R/O-2 observed two individuals disrupting a committee hearing in a Senate Office Building. One Suspect stood up and started yelling while, the other attempted to capture the disruption on video. The Suspects were given multiple warnings to cease and desist their demonstration activity but failed to do so. The Suspects were placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
