| DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE - 1ST OFFENSE | 22:50:00 | 260129000256 | R/O responded to check on the welfare of an individual inside of their car at the intersection of Louisiana and New Jersey Avenues NW. Upon approach, an off-duty officer informed the R/O that he witnessed the Suspect passed out in the vehicle and was able to wake the Suspect up by tapping on the window of the vehicle. While speaking with the Suspect, R/O observed the Suspect's eyes were bloodshot and watery. The Suspect's body movements were lethargic, and they had a difficult time answering R/O's questions. During a preliminary investigation, the Suspect admitted to taking muscle relaxers and four bottles of various pills were located in the vehicle. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| CROWDING, OBSTRUCTING, OR INCOMMODING | 14:27:00 | 260129000252 | R/O responded to a Senate Office Building for the report of an active demonstration. Upon arrival, R/O observed multiple subjects singing and holding up signs to create a disturbance. The Suspects were given multiple warnings to cease and desist their demonstration activity, but failed to do so. The Suspects were placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| THEFT SECOND DEGREE (THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE) | 16:00:00 | 260129000255 | R/O responded to a garage of a House Office Building for the report of a theft. The Complainant stated they left their vehicle unlocked at 0830 hours and when they returned around 1400 hours, a wallet was missing. A canvass of the area was met with negative results. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate. | |
| DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE - 1ST OFFENSE + POSSESSION OF AN OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL (POCA) | 1:17:00 | 260129000245 | R/O observed a vehicle driving on the wrong side of the road and running a red light in the 200 Block of Washington Avenue SW. A traffic stop was conducted at the intersection of Washington Avenue and E Street SW. During the stop, the Suspect was argumentative, and the R/O detected a strong odor of alcohol emitting from the drivers breath. SFSTs were attempted; however, the Suspect refused. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory search of the vehicle, a nearly empty bottle of wine was found on the floorboard of the front passenger seat. | |

| TRAFFIC- ALTERED TAGS | 11:55:00 | 260128000238 | R/O observed a vehicle traveling in the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle revealed an expired registration. A traffic stop was conducted in the 500 Block of North Capitol Street NW. Upon further investigation a counterfeit registration sticker was discovered on the rear tag. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

A traffic stop was conducted at 25 Independence Avenue SE. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed and expired Maryland license, and no license status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. | POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE + NO PERMIT LOANING RESGISTRATION, MISUSE OF TEPMPORARY TAGS | 12:12:00 | 260128000237 | R/O observed a vehicle traveling in the 200 Block of Washington Avenue SW displaying a temporary registration that revealed a suspended status and did not match the make and model of the vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of Third Street SW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no status in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. Upon search of the Suspect, R/O discovered a blue bag containing a white powdery substance in the Suspect's pant pocket. Additionally, white rocks were discovered in a contact lens case in the Suspect's waistband. CSS responded and processed the scene. A test of the substances returned positive for cocaine and Fentanyl. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE | 8:41:00 | 260127000231 | R/O observed an individual matching a BOLO issued by the USCP Investigation Division in the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. R/O made contact with the individual. A WALES/NCIC check of the individual determined a fully extraditable warrant issued by the U.S Marshal Service out of Arlington, Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. |
