A WALES/NCIC check revealed the tag was not registered. A traffic stop was conducted in the 300 Block of M Street SE. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed no permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE / FIRST OFFENSE + MISUSE OF TEMPORARY TAGS COUNTERFEIT VEHICLE DOCS | 18:39:00 | 251122003545 | R/O observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed in the 700 Block of North Capitol Street NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of D Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check on the registration revealed, Not on File. R/O suspected the registration was fraudulent based on the incorrect alphanumeric sequence. Upon approach of the vehicle, R/O advised the Suspect their tags were expired. The Suspect called a friend who provided a Delaware registration. R/O detected a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. SFSTS were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE - 1ST OFF | 3:45:00 | 251122003542 | R/O observed a vehicle traveling eastbound in the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NW with an open trunk. The vehicle failed to come to a complete stop while making a right turn on a red signal at the intersection of North Capitol Street and Massachusetts Avenue NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 400 Block of First Street NW. While speaking with the driver, R/O noticed the driver had glassy eyes and appeared to be dazed while slow to respond to questions. SFSTs were conducted and with numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

R/O observed the vehicle fail to maintain lane control and almost hit the curb in the 200 Block of C Street SW. A traffic stop as conducted in the 400 Block of Second Street SW. While speaking with the driver, R/O smelled an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the vehicle and noticed the drivers speech was slurred while speaking. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

| FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE | 7:41:00 | 251121003531 | R/O responded to the Fairchild Building for an individual who was identified as having an active arrest warrant. The individual was going through an administrative process when the warrant was discovered. USCP Communications confirmed the warrant as fully extraditable from Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE - 1ST OFF + NO PERMIT | 22:36:00 | 251120003529 | R/O observed a vehicle traveling in the 900 Block of Third Street SE with no headlights illuminated. A traffic stop was conducted in the 1200 Block of Fourth Street SE. While speaking the driver, R/O detected the odor of an alcohol beverage emanating from the driver's breath and an odor of marijuana from the vehicle. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the driver had a suspended Virginia operators permit and no status in the District of Columbia or Maryland. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. Search incident to arrest revealed a clear plastic bag with weed clusters in the Suspects pants. CSS responded to collect and process the scene. | |
| NO PERMIT | 0:14:23 | 251119003521 | R/O observed a vehicle traveling Westbound in the 100 Block of Constitution Avenue NE displaying an expired Virginia tag. RO conducted a traffic stop at 50 Constitution Avenue NE. A WALES / NCIC check revealed the driver had no driving status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| UNREGISTERED FIREARM + UNREGISTERED AMMUNITION | 17:11:00 | 251119003519 | R/O-1 discovered an empty handgun holster while performing an administrative search in the Capitol Visitor Center. CIS responded for further investigation. Upon further investigation, the Suspect claimed that they had a handgun in their hotel room. The Suspect consented to a search of the hotel room and signed a written consent form. SOD & CIS responded to the hotel to conduct the search. During the search, a .45 caliber Sig Sauer was found with ten rounds of .45 caliber ammunition. Two additional feeding devices were found in a leather shoulder holster both containing eight rounds of ammunition. At approximately 1711 hours, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| THEFT SECOND DEGREE (THEFT FROM BUILDING) | 14:57:00 | 251119003515 | R/O responded to the Fairchild Building for the report of a theft. The Complainant stated their mail was opened and a challenge coin was removed and taken. The Complainant confirmed with the sender the coin was in the envelope when mailed. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate. |
