DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE-1ST OFF & DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED - UNDER 21 0:22:00 260607001874 R/O responded to the scene of a traffic crash involving two vehicles in the northbound lanes of the Third Street Tunnel. While speaking with the suspect, R/O detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage. SFSTs were conducted. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
LOANING REGISTRATION, MISUSE OF THEMPORARY TAGS, RECEVEING STOLEN PROPERTY & NO PERMIT 20:38:00 260606001872 R/O 1 observed the suspect driving a scooter without a helmet in the 200 Block of Independence Avenue SW. A traffic stop was initiated in the 300 Block of Independence Avenue SW. NCIC check revealed the temporary tag was reported stolen and registered to a different vehicle. NCIC check revealed no status in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. R/O 2 responded and processing the scene.
CARRYING A PISTOL WITHOUT A LICENSE, POSSESSION OF AN UNREGISTERED FIREARM / UNREGISTERED POSSESSION OF A FIREARM OR DESTRUCTIVE DEVICE, POSSESSION OF A LARGE CAPACITY FEEDING DEVICE & POSSESSION OF UNREGISTERED AMMUNITION 6:51:00 260204000314 R/O obtained an arrest warrant for an individual who had previously attempted to enter a House office building with a firearm and two large capacity magazines with ammunition. On June 5, 2026, the individual responded to USCP Headquarters to submit to arrest based on said warrant. The Suspect was placed under arrest by R/O.
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE, NO PERMIT, POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL - VEHICLE, POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA & POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (x2) 1:01:00 260605001846 R/O 1 observed a vehicle fail to maintain its lane of travel while driving through the 200 Block of Independence Avenue SW. The vehicle was then observed stopping within a crosswalk while waiting at a red traffic light at the intersection of Independence Avenue and Third Street SW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 300 Block of Independence Avenue SW. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed they were subject to an extraditable warrant held by Prince George's County Sheriff's Office in Maryland. The warrant was confirmed by USCP Communications. The WALES/NCIC inquiry also revealed the driver had no operator's permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The suspect was subsequently placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. A search of the suspect resulted in the discovery of a crack pipe and a small baggie containing a white powder that tested positive for cocaine. An inventory search of the suspect's vehicle resulted in the discovery of an additional crack pipe, several more baggies containing multiple substances that tested positive for cocaine and fentanyl, and two open containers clearly labeled as TAAKA vodka. R/O 2 responded to the scene and processed the vehicle, as well as all recovered evidence.
NO PERMIT & ALTERED REGISTRATION 13:40:00 260605001851 R/O observed a vehicle traveling in the 800 Block of South Capitol Street SW displaying an expired registration. A traffic stop was conducted in the 1200 Block of South Capitol Street SW. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle confirmed the expired status. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed no operator's permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE 23:54:00 260606001862 R/O observed a vehicle make several traffic violations while traveling southbound in the 600 Block of North Capitol Street NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 700 Block of New Jersey Avenue NW. Upon approach, R/O immediately smelled an odor consistent with an alcoholic beverage emitting from the vehicle. R/O observed the driver's eyes were bloodshot, watery, and glassy. Due to suspicion of impairment, SFST's were conducted. As a result of numerous signs of impairment, the suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY - $1000 - FELONY 19:58:00 260605001860 R/O 1 received a radio assignment for an individual throwing a large rock at windows of the Teamsters Building in the Unit Block of Louisiana Avenue NW. Upon approach, R/O 1 observed an individual walking eastbound on Louisiana Avenue NW matching the description and holding a rock. Several witnesses pointed to the same individual identifying them as the person who threw rocks shattering one window and cracking the other. The estimated cost of the damage is $4,200. R/O 2 responded and processed the scene. The suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE - FIRST OFFENSE & POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL - VEHICLE 1:34:00 260604001827 R/O observed a vehicle at the intersection of Massachusetts and New Jersey Avenues NW sit through a green light cycle without moving. A traffic stop was conducted at the same location. Upon approach R/O observed the driver appeared to be unconscious at the wheel, R/O gave several loud verbal commands to the driver with no response. R/O observed the suspect's eyes were bloodshot, watery/glassy, and could smell a moderate odor of an alcoholic beverage mitting from the suspect's breath. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During a search of the vehicle, R/O observed an open container of an alcoholic beverage on the front passenger seat.
NO PERMIT 10:08:00 260604001835 R/O observed a vehicle with an expired tag traveling in the 100 Block of M Street SE. A traffic stop was conducted at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed they had no operator's permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
CONTEMPT OF CPO/TPO, FAIL TO EXHIBIT LICENSE & POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 9:39:00 260604001834 R/O 1 observed a vehicle cut off another vehicle upon changing lanes without signaling while traveling in the Unit Block of M Street SW. A traffic stop was conducted at the intersection of Half and M Streets SW. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed they filed for a Temporary Protection Order (TPO) that was still in effect. R/O then attempted to identify an individual in the passenger seat of the vehicle since they were not wearing a seat belt. The passenger then provided several different names by word of mouth. As the investigation continued, the individual eventually provided their real name and admitted they were the subject of the driver's TPO, which was then confirmed by USCP Communications. The suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. A subsequent search of the suspect led to the discovery of a single pill that tested positive for Oxycodone. R/O 2 responded to the scene and processed all recovered evidence.
