The off duty officer located the Suspect wandering around and escorted the Suspect to CVC North Screening. R/O was attempting to conduct a name check via the Suspect's identification when the Suspect fled towards the exit. R/O stopped the Suspect. While attempting to detain the Suspect, they kicked and elbowed multiple assisting officers. CIS was notified. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

Upon R/O's arrival, the Complainant stated they discovered a flower had been removed from its pot without permission. All attempts to locate the flower within the facility met with negative results. FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE + FAIL TO APPEAR | 10:26:00 | 250421001240 | R/O approached an individual smoking from a small pipe in the Unit Block of Columbus Circle NE. Upon approach, R/O detected the odor of marijuana coming from the pipe the Suspect was using. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed an active bench warrant issued by the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, and an active warrant issued out of Virginia for unauthorized use of a vehicle. Suspect arrested - transported to HQ for processing. | |
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE - FIRST OFFENSE + POSSESSION OF AN OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL - VEHICLE | 2:53:00 | 250420001236 | R/O responded to the report of a traffic accident at the intersection of Second Street NW and Massachusetts Avenue NW. The R/O observed two damaged vehicles with airbags deployed. The R/O approached the Suspect's vehicle and began to question them when he observed what appeared to be an open alcoholic container in the back seat. Due to the Suspect's eyes being bloodshot, watery, and glassy, SFSTs were administered. Due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was arrested and transported to Headquarters for processing. An inventory search of the vehicle revealed an open bottle containing an amber liquid with a smell consistent with alcohol. |
