The individuals were given multiple warnings to cease and desist their demonstration activity but failed to do so. The Suspects were placed under arrest and transported for processing. | |
| ASSAULT ON A POLICE OFFICER - MISDEMEANOR | 11:11:00 | 250625002095 | R/O-1 responded to a radio call of an officer being assaulted in the Unit Block of Independence Avenue SW. R/O-2 advised R/O-1 that he was spit on during a contact with the Suspect who then fled the scene. The vehicle was later located in the 300 Block of Constitution Avenue NE by A/O and fled the scene again at a high rate of speed. R/O-3 was on scene when the offense occurred and provided a witness statement. R/O-3 completed a report for the offense and cleared the scene. The Suspect remains at large. | |

Upon arrival, R/O observed the Suspect cross an established police line after being instructed not to do so. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

R/O observed multiple individuals chanting and disrupting normal building operations. The individuals were given multiple warnings to cease and desist their demonstration activity but failed to do so. The Suspects were placed under arrest and transported for processing. | |
| DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS + NO PERMIT | 17:23:00 | 250624002079 | R/O-1 and R/O-2 observed a vehicle displaying what appeared to be a misused temporary tag traveling northbound in the 400 Block of First Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle revealed the tag was not on file. R/O-1 and R/O-2 conducted a traffic stop in the 100 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. Additionally, a WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. While speaking with the Suspect, R/O-2 detected an odor of marijuana emanating from the Suspect's vehicle. SFST's were administered, and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

R/O-2 conducted an administrative search and confirmed a firearm inside a backpack. CSS responded to process and recover the firearm. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CIS conducted a records check of the Suspect, which revealed the firearm was unregistered and the Suspect did not possess a license to carry firearms in the District of Columbia. | |
