R/O made contact with the driver, whose eyes appeared bloodshot and glassy. While speaking with the Suspect, R/O detected a moderate odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspects breath. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

Upon contact with the Suspect, R/O detected an odor consistent with marijuana emanating from the vehicle. | RECKLESS DRIVING - MISDEMEANOR + TRAFFIC ACCIDENT - HIT AND RUN | 7:38:00 | 250828002798 | R/O received a bolo for a vehicle involved in a collision at the intersection of First Street and Constitution Avenue NW. A vehicle matching the description of the lookout was observed fleeing eastbound, at a high rate of speed in oncoming traffic while crossing over double yellow lines via the Watch Command office. R/O observed the vehicle matching the lookout, with the Suspect in the drivers seat and heavy rear end damage at the intersection of 10th Street and Maryland Avenue NE. A/O who witnessed the vehicle collision and made the bolo, confirmed this vehicle was involved in the collision. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. |
