During the screening process, the X-ray alerted for a prohibited item inside the bag. A secondary search of the individual's bag revealed brass knuckles . A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had an active warrant issued through the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate. | |

A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 Block of D Street NW. The Suspect failed to exhibit a permit when asked to do so. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed a suspended license out of Maryland and no permit status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 Block of Constitution Avenue NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed an active warrant out of Fairfax County, VA. USCP Communications confirmed the warrant and extradition status. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUG + NO PERMIT POSSESION OF AN OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL | 20:50:00 | 250609001909 | R/O observed a vehicle traveling southbound in the 600 Block of North Capitol Street NW with expired tags. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle tags confirmed the expired status. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of E Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed a suspended operators permit in Maryland with no status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. While speaking to the Suspect, R/O smelled a faint odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from inside of the vehicle. SFST's were administered and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory search of the vehicle, an open container of beer and a baggie containing a green leafy substance, suspected of being marijuana, was found on the rear passenger side floorboard. | |

| LEAVING AFTER COLLIDING - PROPERTY DAMAGE | 1:30:00 | 250607001885 | R/O responded to the report of a traffic accident - leaving after colliding in the 400 Block of Third Street SE. The Complainant stated to the R/O that she heard a loud crash outside her house and came outside to find that her vehicle had sustained damage on the front driver's side panel and the rear driver's side fender. A Witness had also previously flagged down R/O-2 to report the incident and stated that he saw the Suspect vehicle strike a parked vehicle and sustain, "heavy damage to the front right side." The Witness also stated that the Suspect left the vehicle and ran southbound toward the 500 Block of Third Street SE. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect vehicle returned a valid registration and driver's license in Virginia for the vehicle's owner. CSS responded to process the scene and CIS has been notified for further investigation. | |
