DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE- 1ST OFFENSE 3:44:00 260314000754 R/O observed a vehicle fail to maintain their lane of travel through the Unit Block of H Street NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 400 Block of H Street NW. During the course of the investigation, R/O detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the Suspect's breath. SFSTs were conducted. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE- 1ST OFFENSE + POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 20:00:00 260313000750 R/O observed a vehicle stopped in the intersection of New Jersey Avenue and H Street SE. R/O made contact with the driver whose speech was heavily slurred. R/O subsequently conducted a traffic stop in the 100 Block of H Street SE. During the course of the investigation, R/O detected a moderate odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the Suspect's breath. SFSTs were conducted. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During a search incident to arrest, R/O discovered two (2) small bags containing a yellowish-white rock-like substance. CSS responded to prisoner processing and tested the substance, which returned positive for cocaine.
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE 21:46:00 260313000751 R/O-1 and R/O-2 observed a vehicle traveling with a heavily obscured and tinted license plate in the 800 Block of New Jersey Avenue SE. A traffic stop was conducted in the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed an extraditable warrant out of Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT + LOANING REGISTRATION, MISUSE OF TEMPORARY TAGS FAILURE TO EXHIBIT LICENSE 17:10:00 260313000746 R/O observed a vehicle with only one functioning brake light in the 100 Block of Independence Avenue SE. A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 Block of Independence Avenue SW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed an expired Tennessee driver's license and no valid status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle revealed no current registration on file. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
LEAVING AFTER COLLIDING- PROPERTY DAMAGE 15:46:00 260312000731 R/O responded to the Unit Block of Columbus Circle NE for the report of a hit and run. Once on scene the Complainant stated while driving in the 600 Block of First Street NE, a vehicle crossed into their lane and struck the front of their vehicle. The Suspect vehicle fled the scene and was last seen traveling westbound in the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. A canvass of the area was met with negative results. CSS responded and processed the scene. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate.
NO PERMIT 1:44:00 260311000706 R/O observed a vehicle traveling westbound in the Unit Block of E Street NW with a missing rear bumper and an expired registration sticker. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 400 Block of E Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a suspended license in Maryland and no status in the District of Columbia of Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
FAILURE TO APPEAR 16:32:00 260311000718 R/O observed an individual lying on the ground near the curb in the 100 Block of Constitution Avenue NE. R/O conducted a welfare check at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed an active warrant for failure to appear out of the District of Columbia Superior Court. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE - 1ST OFFENSE + POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL - VEHICLE 11:52:00 260310000699 R/O observed a vehicle with an expired registration in the 600 Block of North Capitol Street NW. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the Unit Block of E Street NW. Upon approach, R/O observed multiple open containers of what appeared to be alcoholic beverages in the front and rear of the vehicle. Additionally, R/O noticed an odor consistent with marijuana and alcoholic beverages emitting from the vehicle. SFSTs were conducted and due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory search, R/O discovered multiple open cans containing liquid with an odor consistent with an alcoholic beverage. CSS responded and processed the scene.
COUNTERFEIT TAGS + POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL - VEHICLE 17:05:00 260310000702 R/O observed a vehicle with what appeared to be a fictitious tag in the 100 Block of Independence Avenue SW. A WALES/NCIC check through USCP Communications revealed no registration on file. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 300 Block of Independence Avenue SE. Upon approach, R/O observed 1/4 full bottle consistent with an alcoholic beverage on the rear driver side floorboard. Additionally, a WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle's VIN revealed no registration on file. CSS responded and processed the scene. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
LEAVING AFTER COLLIDING - PROPERTY DAMAGE 11:28:00 260310000696 R/O responded to the Unit Block of E Street SW for a report of a traffic accident. Upon arrival, R/O observed a vehicle with significant damage to the driver side taillight and rear fender. The Complainant stated they left the area at approximately 0900 hours and upon returning at approximately 1125 hours, they discovered the damage. CSS responded and processed the scene. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate.
