LEWD, INDECENT, OR OBSCENE ACTS (DISORDERLY CONDUCT) 16:16:00 250606001882 R/O responded to plaza outside the U.S. Capitol for a report of a person walking without clothes on. The Suspect was stopped and placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT + LOANING REGISTRATION, MISUSE OF TEMPORARY TAGS 7:53:00 250606001878 R/O observed a vehicle traveling in the 200 Block of Independence Avenue SW when he conducted a WALES/NCIC inquiry of the Virginia registration. The response revealed the registration belonged to a different vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 Block of Second Street SW. A WALES/NCIC of the driver revealed no permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
CROWDING, OBSTRUCTING, OR IMCOMMODING 12:53:00 250604001858 R/O responded to a Senate Office Building for a report of an active demonstration. The Officer observed multiple people chanting loudly and disrupting normal building operations. The individuals were given multiple warnings to cease and desist their demonstration activity but failed to do so. The Suspects were placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
CROWDING, OBSTRUCTING, OR INCOMMODING 14:46:00 250603001843 R/O observed several people chanting loudly and obstructing the flow of pedestrian traffic in and around a room in a Senate Office Building . The individuals were given multiple warnings to cease and desist their demonstration activity but failed to do so. The Suspects were placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
FAILURE TO APPEAR 18:27:00 250603001848 R/O conducted a welfare check on an individual lying on the ground next to their bicycle near the South Barricade of the U.S. Capitol Building. The person stated they were struck by a passing vehicle. During the course of a subsequent traffic crash investigation, a WALES/NCIC check revealed the individual was subject to an active warrant issued through the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
FLEEING FROM POLICE - MISDEMEANOR 16:58:00 250602001830 R/O observed an individual sitting on a parked scooter in the 600 Block of First Street NE with missing fairing. Upon approach, R/O noticed a second individual standing beside another scooter with a missing fairing. As R/O began to make contact, the individual sitting on the scooter leapt from the scooter onto the back of another occupied by another individual and fled northbound in the 600 Block of First Street NE. While Suspect 1 was fleeing, the second individual attempted to start the other scooter. As R/O approached, the second Suspect fled on foot in the 600 Block of First Street NE. A canvassed of the area for the Suspects was met with negative results. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate.
CROWDING, OBSTRUCTING, OR INCOMMODING 13:23:00 250602001825 R/O observed multiple subjects actively protesting in the U.S. Capitol Building. The Suspects were given multiple warnings to cease and desist their demonstration activity but failed to do so. The Suspects were placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE 8:48:00 250601001812 R/O observed an individual smoking a substance with the characteristics of marijuana in the Lower Senate Park. A stop was subsequently conducted at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the individual was subject to an extraditable warrant out of Middlesex County in New Jersey. Once Communications confirmed the warrant, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE - FIRST OFFENSE + LOANING REGISTRATION, MISUSE OF TEMPORARY TAGS. 22:29:00 250530001802 R/O observed a vehicle traveling westbound in the Unit Block of D Street, NE with a Virginia temporary tag taped to the rear bumper. A WALES/NCIC check of the tag revealed the registration was expired. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the Unit Block of Columbus Circle NE. A close inspection of the tag revealed the tag was apparently fraudulent. While speaking with the suspect, R/O detected a moderate odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's breathe. SFSTs were administered, and due to numerous impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE - FIRST OFFENSE 17:11:00 250531001809 R/O observed a vehicle traveling eastbound in the Unit Block of Independence Avenue SE with expired tags and heavy window tint. A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 Block Independence Avenue SE. When R/O approached the vehicle, a strong odor of Marijuana was emitting from the vehicle. SFSTs were conducted. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
