DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 16:53:00 250816002686 R/O observed a vehicle with expired tags travelling in the 500 Block of North Capitol Street NW. A traffic stop was conducted at the same location. During the course of the stop, R/O noticed the driver's eyes appeared glazed over. SFSTs were subsequently administered. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE - 1ST OFF + LEAVING AFTER COLLIDING PROPERTY DAMAGE 17:27:00 250815002681 R/O observed a vehicle matching the description of one reported to have fled the scene of multiple traffic accidents while patrolling the 300 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. During the course of the stop, R/O observed visible damage along the vehicle's passenger side that appeared to have occurred recently. Furthermore, R/O noticed the driver slurred their speech heavily and appeared disoriented. SFSTs were subsequently administered. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS + LEAVING AFTER COLLIDING PROPERTY DAMAGE 17:27:00 250815002681 R/O observed a vehicle travelling westbound in the 300 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE that matched the description of a BOLO for reckless driving. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 200 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. Upon approaching the vehicle, R/O observed scraping along the front and rear passenger side, as well as a side mirror hanging from the vehicle. R/O also noted the Suspects slurred speech, glassy eyes, and a staggering stance. SFSTs were conducted, and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 17:55:00 250814002669 R/O observed a vehicle with expired registration at the intersection of Fourth Street and Maryland Avenue NE. A traffic stop was conducted in the 300 Block of Maryland Avenue NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed a canceled license status out of the District of Columbia, suspended out of Maryland and no driving status in Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE 22:24:00 250814002673 R/O observed a vehicle driving erratically and at a high rate of speed in the 600 Block of North Capitol Street NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of Columbus Circle NE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the driver had an extraditable warrant out of Prince Georges County, Maryland and confirmed through USCP Communications. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 16:57:00 250813002658 R/O observed a vehicle with an expired registration in the 600 Block of North Capitol Street NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 500 Block of North Capitol Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed no driving status in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 21:19:00 250812002650 R/O observed a vehicle traveling eastbound in the Unit Block of K Street SE, displaying an expired registration. A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 Block of K Street SE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had no permit in the District of Columbia, with no status in Virginia, or Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
THREATS TO DO BODILY HARM 16:47:00 250812002646 R/O responded to the report of an individual making threats in a House Office Building. Upon arrival, R/O met with the Complainant who stated the Suspect was recently terminated. Once notified of the termination, the Suspect made threatening statements towards the Complainant. The Suspect was located and stopped at New Jersey Avenue and C Street SE. S/A responded and conducted an investigation. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
PPW-A (MISDEMEANOR) 0:11:00 250812002640 R/O observed an individual enter a door to a Library of Congress building and place their bag through the X-Ray machine. During the screening process, R/O noticed what appeared to be a pair of brass knuckles in the individuals bag. A physical inspection of the bag was conducted and confirmed brass knuckles were inside the individuals bag. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene.
CPWL - CARRYING A PISTOL WITHOUT A LICENSE + POSSESSION OF UNREGISTERED FIREARM POSSESSION OF UNREGISTERED AMMUNITION TRAFFIC - MISUSE OF TAGS POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL 16:32:00 250812002647 R/O observed a vehicle traveling eastbound in the Unit Block of Independence Avenue SW, displaying an expired tag. A traffic stop was conducted in the same area. The WALES/NCIC check revealed the tags were expired. Upon approach, R/O noticed what appeared to be two open containers, with a dark liquid and smell consistent of an alcoholic beverage in the back seat of the vehicle. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During the inventory search of the vehicle, a .22LR revolver with five loaded rounds was discovered in the trunk. CIS was notified and processed the scene. The MPD Gun Registration Unit confirmed the firearm is not registered and the Suspect did not possess or maintain a license to carry a firearm in the District of Columbia.
