R/O observed the vehicle quickly accelerate into the 500 Block of North Capitol Street NW. R/O observed the vehicle make a right turn against a solid red light where a No Turn On Red sign is clearly posted. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the Unit Block of E Street NW. R/O observed the driver had bloodshot and glassy eyes and was slow to speak. The driver stated they had a few drinks earlier that night. R/O observed a plastic cup in the center front cup holder filled halfway that smelled consistent with an alcoholic beverage. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of E Street NW. During the course of the stop, R/O detected a moderately strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the vehicle. SFSTs were subsequently conducted. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle revealed the tags were expired. R/O conducted a traffic stop of the vehicle in the Unit Block of G Street NW. R/O noticed a faint odor of burnt marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle and the driver spoke in a low tone of voice. SFSTs were administered and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

R/O followed the vehicle and witnessed it trigger the speed camera in the 700 Block of North Capitol Street. The vehicle then made a sharp turn and proceeded to stop in the crosswalk at the intersection of First and H Streets NW. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 100 Block of H Street NW. While speaking to the driver, R/O detected a moderate odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from their breath. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| CPWL - CARRYING A PISTOL W/O LICENSE + UNREGISTERED FIREARM UNREGISTERED AMMUNITION MISUSE OF TAGS ALTERED TAGS NO VALID PERMIT | 20:47:00 | 250920003044 | R/O while on routine patrol, observed a vehicle traveling westbound in the 500 Block of D Street NE displaying an expired tag. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 300 Block of Maryland Avenue NE. The driver stated the vehicle was obtained from a dealership and the tag came from another vehicle they owned. A WALES/NCIC check through USCP Communications revealed the no driving status in Maryland, the District of Columbia or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During the inventory search of the vehicle, a .40 caliber S&W handgun with 1 round in the chamber and a 10 round magazine was discovered. A DC Gun Registry check revealed the Suspect does not have a concealed carry permit in the District of Columbia. CSS responded to recover the weapon. CIS responded to question the Suspect and further investigate. | |
| DISORDERLY CONDUCT - DISRUPT GATHERING + RESISTING ARREST | 11:28:00 | 250919003031 | R/O observed an agitated individual walking towards a press conference at a Press Area of the U.S. Capitol Building. The Suspect then climbed over a wall separating the public from the press conference and proceeded to disrupt the press conference by screaming incoherently. While being placed under arrest, the Suspect actively resisted by being uncooperative and struggling with the R/O. The Suspect was subsequently placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

A WALES/NCIC check of the tag confirmed the expired status. A traffic stop was conducted in the same location. While speaking to the driver, R/O detected a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. SFSTs were conducted by A/O and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE-1ST OFF + NO PERMIT | 2:08:00 | 250919003026 | R/O observed a vehicle driving westbound in the 400 Block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE fail to maintain its lane several times. A WALES/NCIC check of the tag returned expired, and a traffic stop was conducted in the 200 Block of A Street NE. Upon approach, R/O detected a strong smell of alcohol emanating from the vehicle, the Suspect's eyes were bloodshot and glassy, and they admitted to have consumed two alcoholic beverages recently. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect by word of mouth revealed that they had an expired driving permit out of Washington, a suspended permit out of Virginia, and no valid permit out of the District of Columbia or Maryland. SFSTs were conducted and due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. |
