A WALES/NCIC of the driver revealed an expired Texas operators permit, with no status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. A WALES/NCIC check also revealed an active temporary protection order against the driver issued by the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. At the time of the stop, the petitioner of that order was sitting in the passenger seat of the vehicle, which was in violation of said order. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

R/O suspected the registration was fraudulent based on the incorrect alphanumeric sequence. Upon approach of the vehicle, R/O advised the Suspect their tags were expired. The Suspect called a friend who provided a Delaware registration. R/O detected a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. SFSTS were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

The vehicle failed to come to a complete stop while making a right turn on a red signal at the intersection of North Capitol Street and Massachusetts Avenue NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 400 Block of First Street NW. While speaking with the driver, R/O noticed the driver had glassy eyes and appeared to be dazed while slow to respond to questions. SFSTs were conducted and with numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

The individual was going through an administrative process when the warrant was discovered. USCP Communications confirmed the warrant as fully extraditable from Maryland. R/O observed the vehicle fail to maintain lane control and almost hit the curb in the 200 Block of C Street SW. A traffic stop as conducted in the 400 Block of Second Street SW. While speaking with the driver, R/O smelled an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the vehicle and noticed the drivers speech was slurred while speaking. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. |
