An individual was observed disrupting an active committee hearing by yelling. The individual was directed to cease and desist their demonstration activity but refused to comply. As officers effected arrest, the Suspect began to actively resist by pushing and pulling away. Once officers gained control, the Suspect was transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE | 23:07:00 | 250213000400 | R/O responded to a report of a traffic accident in the 100 Block of D Street NE. Once on scene, R/O discovered two vehicles with significant damage. One of the vehicles was parked on the side of the road at the time of the collision. The driver of the striking vehicle admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages prior to the accident. Furthermore, R/O smelled an odor of alcohol on the drivers breath. SFSTs were subsequently administered. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

NO PERMIT + ALTERED TAGS POSSESSION OF AN OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL | 16:12:00 | 250213000398 | R/O observed a vehicle with what appeared to be an altered tag traveling westbound in the 100 Block of M Street SE. A traffic stop was initiated in the Unit Block of M Street SE. A WALES/NCIC check of the tag revealed it was expired despite displaying a sticker that indicated otherwise. When asked, the driver stated the sticker on display was pulled from another vehicle. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed they had no permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. Shortly after effecting arrest, R/O discovered an open can containing an alcoholic beverage within the vehicle. | |
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS + POSSESSION OF AN OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL | 20:30:00 | 2.50121E+11 | R/O responded to the 100 Block of Constitution Avenue NE for a vehicle that was driving on its rims and failing to comply with A/O. Upon approaching the vehicle, R/O detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the suspect. SFSTs were conducted. Due to the numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. An inventory search of the Suspect's vehicle revealed an open bottle of an alcoholic beverage in the center console of the vehicle. | |
PERMIT SUSPENDED - OAS | 9:33:00 | 2.50211E+11 | R/O observed a vehicle traveling in the Unit Block of E Street NE with an expired registration. A traffic stop was conducted in the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a suspended operator's permit in the District of Columbia with no status in Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to USCP Headquarters for processing. | |
NO PERMIT + LOANING REGISTRATION, MISUSE OF TEMPORARY TAGS ALTERED REGISTRATION FAIL TO EXHIBIT PERMIT | 20:52:00 | 2.50209E+11 | R/O observed a vehicle with what appeared to be an altered, partially handwritten tag driving in Unit Block of D Street NW. A traffic stop was conducted at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the tag revealed it was registered to a different vehicle, which had a suspended registration. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver, using the information on the Venezuelan identification card they provided, revealed they had no permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. |
