R/O observed the vehicle not use a turn signal when changing lanes several times. A traffic stop was conducted in the 400 Block of C Street NE. Upon approach, R/O detected a moderate odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from the vehicle and the Suspect's breath. SFSTs were conducted and due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was arrested and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| TRAFFIC - NO VALID PERMIT | 21:00:00 | 251114003468 | R/O responded to Second and C Streets NE for a report of a traffic accident. Upon arrival, R/O observed a vehicle sitting at that location and conducted a welfare check. The driver stated that they were operating the vehicle that was involved in the traffic accident and admitted they did not possess a valid drivers license. A WALES/ NCIC check through USCP Communications confirmed the driver did not have a valid driver's license in the District of Columbia and no status in Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of Louisiana Avenue NW. Upon approach, R/O noticed a moderately strong odor consistent with marijuana emitting from the vehicle. R/O also observed the driver's eyes were bloodshot and glazed over. SFSTs were conducted and due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| SIMPLE ASSAULT - DOMESTIC VIOLENCE | 17:44:00 | 251114003465 | R/O responded to a call for service for a domestic assault in the 200 Block of C Street SE through MPD Communications. A/O stopped a vehicle matching the lookout involved in the 500 Block of New Jersey Avenue SE. R/O approached the passenger side of the vehicle and observed the victim sitting in the passenger seat. A/O observed blood on the Suspects shirt and removed them from the vehicle. The victim stated a verbal and physical altercation occurred in the vehicle. R/O observed multiple scratches on the left side of the victim's neck and a cut on the inside of the lip. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

R/O and A/O observed the vehicle make numerous traffic violations and avoided a near collision. A traffic stop was conducted on Interstate 395 prior to Exit 5. While speaking with the driver, R/O notice their movements were slow while fumbling to find the vehicle registration. SFST's were administered and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

A traffic stop was conducted in the 400 Block of Third Street SW. A WALES/NCIC inquiry of the driver revealed no valid permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters. | |
| DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE | 1:01:00 | 251113003451 | R/O observed a vehicle traveling northbound in the 400 block of South Capitol Street SE with its passenger-side taillight out. The vehicle stopped at a red light at the intersection of New Jersey Avenue and D Street SE, at which time R/O observed that the vehicles brake light was also out. As R/O followed the vehicle in the 100 block of D Street SE, the vehicle failed to maintain its lane. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of D Street SE. While conversing with the Suspect, R/O detected a strong odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. SFSTs were administered, and due to numerous signs of impairment, the suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

R/O initiated a traffic stop in the 300 block of Independence Avenue SW. A WALES/NCIC inquiry of the vehicle confirmed the expired status. A WALES/NCIC inquiry of the driver revealed a suspended Maryland permit with no valid permit status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

The vehicle made a U-turn in front of R/O to then travel southbound on the same area. The vehicle then made another U-turn to travel northbound once again in the same area. R/O initiated a traffic stop in the same area. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle revealed expired tags. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a suspended license out of Maryland, with no status in Virginia or the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
