DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS + RECKLESS DRIVING 5:45:00 260214000429 R/O observed a vehicle speed through a solid red light in the 400 Block of Washington Avenue SW. R/O matched the Suspects speed and observed the patrol vehicle speedometer read 42 mile per hour in a 25 miles per hour speed zone. A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 Block of Washington Avenue SW. Before R/O could approach the Suspects vehicle, a witness flagged down R/O and stated they observed the Suspect strike multiple vehicles while driving erratically. Due to suspicion of impairment, SFST were conducted. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE 18:38:00 260214000435 R/O observed a vehicle strike the concrete median in the 1200 Block of First Street SE. A traffic stop was conducted in the 1000 Block of M Street SE. RO detected the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspects breath. SFSTs were conducted and due to multiple signs of impairment the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
FLEEING FROM POLICE OFFICER + RECKLESS DRIVING 11:11:00 260214000431 R/O observed a vehicle with a suspended registration traveling Westbound in the 700 Block of M Street SE. A traffic stop was conducted in the 400 Block of M Street SE. As the R/O and A/O approached the Suspects vehicle, the vehicle sped off at a high rate of speed and proceeded to travel through numerous solid red lights. R/O did not initiate a pursuit. CIS was notified.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE 2ND OFF 2:58:00 260214000427 R/O observed a vehicle blocking a travel lane in the 100 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. R/O pulled alongside of the vehicle and observed the Suspects slumped over the center console. R/O knocked on the window for two minutes trying to awaken the Suspect. The Suspect appeared to be in a stupor and slowly looked around. Upon the Suspect opening the door, R/O detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspects breath and vehicle. The Suspects eyes were glassy and bloodshot. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
ASSAULT ON A POLICE OFFICER + INTOXICATION 19:45:00 260214000437 R/O observed the Suspect passed out on the sidewalk in the Unit Block of E Street NW. RO was able to wake the Suspect and observed the strong odor of an Alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect. The Suspect was unable to stand or walk on their own and DC Fire responded and treated the Suspect. The Suspect then became combative and struck A/O on the arm with a closed fist. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE 1ST OFF 3:39:00 260214000428 R/O observed a vehicle with no rear lights illuminating in the Unit Block of Columbus Circle NE. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of E Street NE. Upon approach, R/O was met with a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from inside the vehicle. The Suspects face was flushed and eyes had light reddening. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE - 1ST OFFENSE 2:34:00 260214000426 R/O observed a vehicle stopped in the crosswalk at the intersection of Second and E Streets NW. R/O later observed the vehicle pass through a red signal at the intersection of Third and E Streets NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 300 Block of Third Street NW. R/O smelled an odor of alcoholic beverage emanating from the driver's breath. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE - 1ST OFFENSE + RESISTING ARREST POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE - MISDEMEANOR 14:44:00 260213000420 R/O-1 and R/O-2 observed a vehicle stop in the middle of the intersection at North Capitol Street and Massachusetts Avenue NW. As R/O and A/O approached the vehicle, the driver exited and began to run and shout. R/O gave verbal commands to stop and attempted to detain the driver. The driver actively resisted by jumping up and down and pulling away. R/O and A/O were eventually able to subdue the driver. A search of the driver, revealed a cigarette and a vial containing a clear liquid. An inventory search of the vehicle revealed a cigarette in a container with a strong chemical odor on the front passenger seat. CSS responded and processed the scene. The cigarettes both tested positive for PCP and the vial tested positive for Butanediol. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 16:38:00 260213000421 R/O observed a vehicle traveling in the 100 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE turn northbound onto North Capitol Street NE without yielding to pedestrians in the crosswalk. A traffic stop was conducted in the 700 Block of North Capitol Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed a suspended Connecticut drivers license and no status in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 22:08:00 2600213000425 R/O observed a vehicle traveling in the 500 Block of New Jersey NW with expired tags. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle confirmed the expired status. A traffic stop was conducted in the 400 Block of First Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed a no driving status in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
