At the intersection of North Capitol and H Street NE, the vehicle turned right onto the Unit Block of H Street without using their signal. A traffic stop was conducted in the same area. Upon approach to the driver's side window, R/O observed a visible cloud of smoke come out of the vehicle along with a strong odor consistent with marijuana emitting from the vehicle. The Suspect was slow to respond to questions and had watery/glassy eyes. SFSTs were administered and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

R/O performed a WALES/NCIC check on the vehicle tag and it did not return to the vehicle. R/O conducted a traffic stop at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a suspended license in Maryland and no driving status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of C Street NW. The R/O detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the vehicle. SFSTs were conducted, and due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory search of the vehicle, a flask containing a liquid consistent with the odor of alcohol was found in the front passenger seat. | |

A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 Block of Constitution Avenue NW. While speaking with the driver, A/O could detect a moderate odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspects breath. SFST's were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

A WALES/NCIC inquiry of the vehicle tags returned not in file. A traffic stop was conducted in the 400 Block of H Street NE. R/O noticed the drivers eyes were red and glassy. A alcohol container was also observed on the passenger side floorboard. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

A traffic stop was conducted in the 800 Block of North Capitol Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check revealed no driving status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE - 1ST OFFENSE + POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL NO PERMIT | 8:27:00 | 260321000861 | R/O observed a vehicle traveling with heavy front-end damage and emitting an odor of marijuana from the driver's window in the intersection of South Capitol and M Streets SE. A traffic stop was subsequently conducted in the 1200 Block of South Capitol Street SW. During the course of the investigation, the Suspect admitted to recently smoking marijuana. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a District of Columbia ID and no valid status in Virginia or Maryland. SFST's and ARIDE tests were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During the search incident to arrest, A/O located a small bag of marijuana in the Suspect's pocket. Additionally, during an inventory search of the vehicle, A/O located a cup containing a liquid with an odor consistent of an alcoholic beverage in the driver's center console. |
