R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 300 Block of G Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a suspended permit out of Virginia with no status in Maryland or the District of Columbia. R/O noticed an odor emanating from the vehicle consistent with burnt cannabis. R/O requested the Suspect to exit the vehicle, however, the Suspect accelerated away at a high rate of speed southbound through the 600 Block of Sixth Street NW and through multiple intersections, disregarding any traffic laws. An immediate canvass for the Suspect was met with negative results. CSS responded to process the scene. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate. | |

A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a suspended permit out of Maryland with no driving status in Virginia or the District of Columbia. During an inventory search of the vehicle, a bag containing a shotgun, eleven 12 gauge shells and twenty 40 caliber bullets was discovered behind the rear passenger seat of the vehicle. CSS responded and processed the scene. CIS conducted a custodial interview of the Suspect. | |
