UUV - FELONY 04/05/2022 4:32pm 220405000442 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: UUV PASSENGER; RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY; POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE; POSSESSION OF AN OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL R/O observed a vehicle traveling southbound in the 300 block of Washington Avenue, SW, matching the description of a reported stolen vehicle, which was confirmed through a WALES/NCIC check. R/O conducted a traffic stop at Second and C Streets, SW. A WALES/NCIC check revealed that the vehicle was rented with fraudulent identification. The Suspects were placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene, and discovered an open container of alcohol in the vehicle under the front passenger seat. During a search of the Suspect, a white, powdery substance was discovered in the front right pocket, and tested positive for MDMA. 2
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE 04/05/2022 8:26pm 220405000434 R/O initiated a contact with an individual known to R/O. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had an active warrant in Prince George's County, Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
BENCH WARRANT-MISDEMEANOR 04/05/2022 8:23pm 220405000433 ADDITIONAL CHARGE: BENCH WARRANT-MISDEMEANOR R/O observed two individuals engaged in a sexual act in the 600 block of North Capitol Street, NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the individuals revealed one of them had two bench warrants issued through the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE 04/04/2022 10:02am 220404000430 R/O observed a vehicle traveling in the unit block of Constitution Avenue, NW, with no registration displayed. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed an active arrest warrant from Arlington, Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 04/03/2022 9:20pm 220403000424 R/O observed a vehicle pass through a red light in the 200 block of Washington Avenue, SW. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the same location. A WALES/NCIC check revealed a suspended Virginia license and no status in the District of Columbia or Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 04/03/2022 8:19pm 220403000423 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: TRAFFIC - MISUSE OF TAGS R/O observed a vehicle with Texas buyer tags committing improper lane changes in the 300 block of Washington Avenue, SW. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Second Street, SW. A WALES/NCIC check returned expired tags, tags registered to a different vehicle, as well as no valid permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 03/30/2022 11:10am 220330000405 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: LOANING REGISTRATION/MISUSE OF TEMPORARY TAGS R/O observed a vehicle traveling westbound in the unit block of Massachusetts Avenue, NE, with no expiration date displayed on the tag. R/O conducted a traffic stop at 700 New Jersey Avenue, NW. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect did not have a valid license in Maryland, Virginia, or the District of Columbia. Further inspection of the vehicle's tag revealed it was fake. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 03/30/2022 3:57am 220330000399 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: LOANING REGISTRATION/MISUSE OF TEMPORARY TAGS R/O observed a vehicle traveling southbound in the 500 block of South Capitol Street, SW, pass through a solid red light. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the unit block of K Street, SW. Upon approach, the Suspect stated her dealer gave her the tags, and the vehicle was not registered. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the tags were not registered, and the Suspect had a suspended license in Virginia with no status in the District of Columbia or Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 03/28/2022 5:54pm 220328000394 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: FAILURE TO EXHIBIT LICENSE; OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE R/O observed a heavily damaged vehicle displaying an expired tag traveling southbound in the 400 block of First Street, NW. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 500 block of Second Street, NW. Upon approach, the Suspect stated he didn't have a license. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the tags were expired, and the Suspect had no license status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. R/O conducted a LIVESCAN, revealing the true identity of the Suspect after being given a false name and date of birth.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 03/27/2022 11:29pm 220327000391 R/O received a report of a driver asleep behind the wheel in the 400 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, SE. A traffic stop was conducted at the same location. R/O asked the Suspect if he consumed alcohol to which the Suspect responded in the affirmative. A WALES/NCIC check was conducted. SFSTs also were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
