NO PERMIT 13:01:00 250308000654 R/O observed a vehicle with an expired tag in the Unit Block of Columbus Circle NE. A traffic stop was conducted in the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE 4:23:00 250308000652 R/O was flagged down at the intersection of North Capitol and E Streets by the Suspect. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed an active warrant out of Doylestown, Pennsylvania. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
PERMIT SUSPENDED + DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE POSSESSION OF AN OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL 16:48:00 250308000655 R/O observed a vehicle with a nonfunctioning brake light in the 400 Block of North Capitol Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the tag revealed an expired registration. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the Unit Block of Louisiana Avenue NW. Upon approach, A/O observed a container consistent with an alcoholic beverage on the passenger side back seat. Also, A/O smelled an odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the Suspect's vehicle. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had a suspended license in District of Columbia with no valid permit status in Maryland or Virginia. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE - 1ST OFFENSE + POSSESSION OF OEPN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL - VEHICLE RECKLESS DRIVING DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY LESS THAN $1000 3:03:03 250308000651 R/O observed a vehicle drive over the curb and collide with a tree in the 800 Block of Second Street NW. R/O observed the vehicle attempt to conduct a U-turn which resulted in colliding with another tree. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle at that location. While speaking with the Suspect, R/O detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's breath. SFSTs were conducted. Due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. An inventory search of the vehicle revealed several open containers consistent with alcoholic beverages.
OPERATING AFTER REVOCATION 16:25:00 250307000642 R/O observed a vehicle traveling southbound in the 400 Block of Third Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the vehicle's registration was expired. A traffic stop was conducted in the 400 Block of Third Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect's license was revoked out of the District of Columbia with no valid status in Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT + LOANING REGISTRATION, MISUSE OF TEMPORARY TAGS 16:17:00 250307000643 R/O observed a vehicle traveling eastbound in the Unit Block of H Street NW displaying a counterfeit tag. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the tag was "Not on File." A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of H Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed a surrendered District of Columbia License and no status in Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE - 2ND OFF + PERMIT REVOKED - OAR POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL - VEHICLE POSSESSION WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 20:09:00 250307000648 R/O observed a vehicle traveling southbound in the 600 Block of North Capitol Street with expired registration. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of Louisiana Avenue NW. The Suspect produced a picture of a District of Columbia license from his phone. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect's license was revoked in the District of Columbia with no valid status in Maryland or Virginia. During the stop, R/O could smell the odor of alcohol emanating from the Suspect's breath. SFSTs were conducted and based on numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. While conducting an inventory search of the vehicle, a bottle on the rear passenger floorboard was found emitting an odor consistent with alcohol. A white powdery substance was found on the Suspect's person. A test of the substance by A/O revealed a presumptive positive result for Cathinone, a schedule one controlled substance.
TRAFFIC-DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 13:30:00 250306000622 R/O responded to a report of an individual asleep behind the wheel of a vehicle idling in the 400 block of Second Street NE. R/O initiated a welfare check upon discovering the person in question still on scene. During the course of their interaction, R/O observed the individual was slow to answer questions and had slow tracking eyes. SFSTs were administered. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DEFACING GOVERNMENT PROPERTY-MISD 12:45:00 250306000621 R/O and A/O observed graffiti written with a white marker on two benches in the Senate Park located immediately to the west of the 400 block of Delaware Avenue NE. Attempts to locate a Suspect or Witness met with negative results. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate.
CROWDING, OBSTRUCTING, INCOMMODING 10:21:00 250305000602 R/O responded to a House Office Building for a report of an active demonstration. R/O observed multiple Suspects chanting, yelling and sitting on the floor. The Suspects were warned three times to cease and desist demonstration activities and failed to do so. The Suspects were placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
