CROWDING OBSTRUCTION INCOMMODING 10:42:00 260128000236 R/O observed an individual holding a sign and disrupting a committee in a Senate Office Building. The Suspect was given warnings to cease the activity and failed to comply. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to headquarters for processing.
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE 8:41:00 260127000231 R/O observed an individual matching a BOLO issued by the USCP Investigation Division in the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. R/O made contact with the individual. A WALES/NCIC check of the individual determined a fully extraditable warrant issued by the U.S Marshal Service out of Arlington, Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE - 1ST OFFENSE + CARRYING A PISTOL WITHOUT A LICENSE POSSESSION OF UNREGISTERED FIREARM RECEVING STOLEN PROPERTY POSESSION OF UNREGISTERED AMMUNITION 19:57:00 260124000225 R/O observed an unauthorized vehicle drive through the vehicle checkpoint at the intersection of Washington and Independence Avenues SW. R/O directed the vehicle out of the perimeter and subsequently conducted a traffic stop in the 200 Block of Independence Avenue SW. Upon approach, R/O detected a heavy odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle and the driver. A/O responded and administered SFSTs. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded to process the scene. During an inventory search of the vehicle, a large zip lock bag of marijuana was located in the center console, and a handgun loaded with one (1) round in the chamber and four (4) rounds in the magazine was discovered in a jacket on the passenger side. A WALES/NCIC check of the firearm revealed it was stolen out of Virginia. CIS was notified. An inquiry through the Metropolitan Police Department's Gun Registration Unit revealed the Suspect did not posses a license to carry a firearm and neither the firearm nor its ammunition were registered in the District of Columbia.
POSSESSION OF UNREGISTERED AMMUNITION 18:05:00 260124000223 During an administrative screening at a Library of Congress building, ammunition was detected inside the Suspect's bag. R/O conducted a physical search of the bag and discovered seven (7) rounds of ammunition. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 8:50:00 260123000214 R/O observed a vehicle traveling in the 100 Block of Independence Avenue SW with no operational brake lights. A traffic stop was conducted in the 500 Block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed no driving status in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT - SECOND OFFENSE 19:20:00 260123000218 R/O observed a vehicle traveling eastbound in the Unit Block of Independence Avenue SW with an inoperable right headlight. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the Unit Block of Independence Avenue SE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the driver had a suspended Maryland operators permit and no status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
ROBBERY + THEFT IN THE SECOND DEGREE FAILURE TO APPEAR RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY 15:47:00 260123000215 R/O observed an individual in the Unit Block of Constitution Avenue NE matching a lookout broadcasted by USCP Communications regarding a theft that occurred at a Library of Congress Building. The Complainant stated they witnessed the individual snatch their air pods and then leave the office. The individual admitted to taking the air pods. A WALES/NCIC and other law enforcement databases revealed the individual had an active bench warrant held by the Superior Court for the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CIS and TAS conducted a custodial interview of the Suspect.
AFFRAY 11:41:00 260122000201 R/O witnessed two individuals fighting in the 200 Block of Second Street SW. A group of men were trying to break up the fight. Both Suspects were placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
UNLAWFUL DEMONSTRATING + RESISTING ARREST 9:54:00 260122000199 Officers observed multiple individuals in the 200 Block of Washington Avenue SW yelling, holding banners and blocking traffic. The individuals were warned to cease and desist demonstration activities, but failed to do so. While attempting to place one of the Suspects under arrest, the Suspect became physically resistant. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 1:06:00 260122000198 R/O and A/O observed a vehicle parked in a crosswalk in the intersection of North Capitol and H Streets NW. The vehicle then traveled southbound in the 700 Block of North Capitol Street and performed a U-turn to travel northbound. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle revealed an expired registration. A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 Block of H Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a suspended drivers license in Maryland with no status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
