NO PERMIT + COUNTERFEIT TAGS 18:16:00 250509001525 R/O observed a vehicle displaying what appeared to be a fictitious tag in the 500 Block of C Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the tag revealed no registration on file. A traffic stop was conducted in the 600 Block of Maryland Avenue NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 15:52:00 250508001505 R/O observed a vehicle make an illegal right turn at a red stoplight in the 400 block of Second Street SE. A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 Block of D Street SE. A WALES/ NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no valid permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 18:45:00 200508001507 R/O observed a vehicle traveling with an expired tag in the 100 Block of Third Street SE. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 200 Block of K Street SE. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no valid permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 20:41:00 250507001485 R/O observed a vehicle traveling in the 200 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NW with an expired tag. A traffic stop was conducted in the 400 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
THEFT FIRST DEGREE 19:10:00 250506001471 R/O took a report of a stolen scooter from the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. The Complainant stated they parked the scooter in the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE at 1900 hours and noticed it was missing at 1910 hours. CID was notified and will continue to investigate.
FAILURE TO APPEAR x2 16:59:00 250506001466 R/O observed an individual with an active warrant in the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. R/O conducted a stop at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check confirmed the Suspect had two active bench warrants in the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT - DISRUPTING PUBLIC BUILDING 16:38:00 250506001465 R/O while on a security screening post observed an individual yelling in a Senate Office Building. R/O attempted to intervene due to the noise interfering with the congressional staff meetings but the Suspect failed to comply. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE + POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE IN MOTOR VEHICLE 1:38:00 250505001448 R/O observed a vehicle without a license plate traveling northbound on interstate 395. R/O initiated a traffic stop in the Third Street Tunnel of I395 Northbound. Upon contact, R/O observed two open cups in the center console cup holder with pink liquid in them and a strong smell of alcohol emitting from the Suspect and the vehicle. R/O ordered the Suspect to exit the vehicle for further investigation. SFSTs were conducted and due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory search of the vehicle, R/O found an open container with alcohol under the passenger seat.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY $1000 OR MORE 10:00:00 250506001454 R/O was approached by the Complainant who reported damage to their vehicle parked in a garage. Upon arrival, R/O observed what appeared to be fresh damage to the hood of the vehicle. The Complainant stated that the vehicle had no prior damage and has been parked at the location since May 5, 2025 at 1530 hours. CSS responded and processed the scene. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate.
CONSUMPTION OF MARIJUANA IN A PUBLIC SPACE PROHIBITED + RESISTING ARREST 10:29:00 250505001440 R/O observed an individual slumped over on a wall in the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. While conducting a welfare check R/O observed a lit cigarette with a substance consistent with marijuana in the Suspects hand. The Suspect physically resisted being placed into handcuffs. The Suspect was successfully placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene.
