| DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE - 1ST OFFENSE | 1:05:00 | 250718002402 | R/O observed a vehicle with a broken taillight and expired tags traveling northbound through the Third Street Tunnel near the Massachusetts Avenue exit. A traffic stop was conducted in the 900 Block of New Jersey Avenue NW. During the course of the stop, R/O detected a strong odor consistent with an alcoholic beverage and a faint odor consistent with marijuana emanating from the vehicle. SFSTs were administered. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

AMMO, POSS. OF A LARGE CAPACITY AMMO FEEDING DEVICE | 17:58:00 | 250718002416 | A Witness advised R/O of observing handguns in a vehicle a parking garage in the 700 Block of Ninth Street NW. R/O along with CIS responded to that same location. CIS interviewed the individual about their vehicle. A MPD gun dog was requested and conducted a sweep of the vehicle and detected evidence of firearms inside. A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed two loaded handguns, two high capacity magazines each loaded with thirteen rounds of ammunition. An inquiry through the Metropolitan Police Department revealed the individual did not possess a license to carry a firearm or ammunition in the District of Columbia. Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene. | |

AMMO | 6:35:00 | 250718002405 | R/O observed the Suspect enter a Senate Office Building for screening. The Suspect placed the backpack on the x-ray when R/O observed what appeared to be a firearm in the bag on the x-ray screen. A subsequent search of the bag revealed a silver in color firearm with a barrel length less than twelve inches, and an ammunition feeding device holding two (2) rounds of .410 caliber shotgun hollow point slugs. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene. CID was advised of the offense. An inquiry through the Metropolitan Police Department's Gun Registry Unit verified neither the firearm nor its ammunition were registered in the District of Columbia. | |

OF OPEN CONT. OF ALC., POSS. OF LARGE CAP. AMMO FEED. DEVICE | 15:30:00 | 250717002396 | R/O observed a vehicle with expired tags travelling eastbound in the 100 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. A traffic stop was conducted in the 500 Block of Third Street NE. During the course of the stop, R/O observed two (2) open containers clearly labeled as alcoholic beverages in the vehicle's the middle console. After directing the driver to exit the vehicle, R/O observed what appeared to be a brown tactical gun bag on the rear floorboard of the vehicle. When asked what was in the bag, the driver stated "my rifle." A subsequent search of the bag revealed a .22 caliber rifle loaded with a 22-round magazine containing 13 rounds of ammunition, as well as multiple additional .22 caliber rounds of ammunition. An inquiry through the Metropolitan Police Department's Gun Registry Unit verified neither the firearm nor its ammunition were registered in the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded to process the scene. CIS was advised of the offense. | |
| DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE - FIRST OFFENSE | 0:30:00 | 250717002387 | R/O-1 and R/O-2 observed a vehicle travelling eastbound in the Unit Block of Constitution Avenue NW, moving at a high rate of speed and breaking excessively. A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 Block of First Street NW. While speaking with the driver, R/O-1 detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the Suspect's breath. SFSTs were conducted by R/O-1. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| NO PERMIT | 20:32:00 | 250716002386 | R/O observed a vehicle travelling southbound in the 600 Block of North Capitol Street NW with no running headlights. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of D Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed no driving status in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported for processing. | |
| CARRYING A PISTOL WITHOUT A LICENSE (OUTSIDE HOME OR PLACE OF BUSINESS) + POSSESSION OF UNREGISTERED AMMUNITION UNREGISTERED FIREARM/UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A FIREARM OR DESTRUCTIVE DEVICE | 8:19:00 | 250716002373 | R/O responded to a screening post at offsite screening for the discovery of a firearm during an administrative search. On scene investigation revealed the the Suspect had placed their backpack containing a firearm and 7 rounds of ammunition inside of an X-ray at the screening post. A check through District of Columbia Gun Registration Unit revealed that the firearm was not registered in the District of Columbia nor did the Suspect have a valid license to carry a firearm in the District of Columbia. CSS responded to process the scene. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CIS was notified and conducted an interview of the Suspect. | |

OF A LARGE CAPACITY AMMO FEEDING DEVICE CARRYING RIFLE OR SHOTGUN OUTSIDE HOME OR BUSINESS, UNLAWFUL ACT. | 09:14:00 | 250716002375 | R/O-1 and R/O-2 observed a vehicle parked against traffic in the 200 Block of Pennsylvania Avenue NW. Upon approach RO observed what appeared to be a bow and arrow and firearm accessories in plain view. A lookout was broadcasted for the driver of the vehicle. R/O-3 observed an individual matching that description in the Unit Block of First Street NW. A Subject Stop was conducted and the individual was detained in the same location. CIS responded and conducted a field interview. During the interview, the Suspect stated that he had multiple firearms inside his vehicle. CSS responded to the scene and conducted a search of the vehicle. R/O 1-3 discovered multiple calibers of ammunition, a loaded handgun with 9 rounds of ammunition and a second 10 round magazine. Additionally, a loaded rifle along with multiple 45 round extended magazines were discovered. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CIS contacted the District of Columba Gun Registration Unit which revelaed the Suspect did not posses a license to carry a firearm or ammunition in the District of Columbia. | |
| NO PERMIT + LOANING REGISTRATION, MISUSE OF TEMPORARY TAGS | 15:00:00 | 2507162378 | R/O observed a vehicle displaying what appeared to be fictitious tag traveling northbound in the 500 Block of South Capitol Street SW. RO conducted a traffic stop in the 400 Block of South Capitol Street SE. A WALES/NCIC check reveled the tag belonged to a different vehicle. Additionally, a WALES/NCIC check revelaed the Suspect had no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 Block of Independence Avenue SE. While speaking to the driver, R/O detected a moderate odor of alcohol emitting from the driver. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. |
