DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS. ADDITIONAL CHARGES: PERMIT REVOKED-OAR POSSESSION OF AN OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL 19:57:00 250802002568 R/O observed a vehicle facing northbound in the 500 Block of First Street NW playing loud music. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle revealed suspended and expired tags. The return also revealed the registered owner's license was suspended. A traffic stop was conducted in the 600 Block of New Jersey Avenue NW. Upon approach, the Suspect's speech was drawn out and incoherent. R/O detected a faint odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from within the vehicle. SFSTs were administered. Due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect's license revealed that it was revoked in the District of Columbia, with no status in Maryland, or Virginia. While conducting an inventory search of the vehicle, an open can containing a liquid, with characteristics consistent with an alcoholic beverage, was located in the center console.

ADDITIONAL CHARGES: PERMIT NO VALID 21:03:00 250801002562 R/O observed a vehicle traveling eastbound in the 300 Block of Independence Avenue SW with one headlight and one taillight inoperable. A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 Block of Washington Avenue SW. A WALES/NCIC check revealed a suspended Maryland operator's permit with no status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. While speaking with the driver, R/O smelled an odor consistent with marijuana emitting from the vehicle. SFSTs were administered and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE. ADDITIONAL CHARGES: PERMIT REVOKED - OAR POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL - VEHICLE 0:37:00 250801002551 R/O observed a vehicle traveling southbound in the 500 Block of North Capitol Street at a high rate of speed. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the Unit Block of D Street NW. Upon approach, R/O noticed the Suspect's slurred speech, glassy eyes, and a moderate odor of alcoholic emanating from the Suspect's breath. The suspect retrieved their driver's license from the trunk of the vehicle, where R/O observed an open container of an alcoholic beverage. A WALES/NCIC check revealed that the Suspect's driver's license was revoked in the District of Columbia. SFSTs were conducted, and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
PERMIT NO VALID 21:16:00 250801002563 R/O observed a vehicle traveling in the 600 Block of North Capitol Street NW proceed through a solid red light at Massachusetts Avenue NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of D Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the driver had no valid permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
THEFT FIRST DEGREE 10:00:00 250801002552 R/O responded to a storage area in a House Office Building for a report of a theft. The Complainant stated an unknown Suspect stole three flat screen televisions from the storage area. Upon further investigation, one television was located near a different storage area. All attempts to locate the remaining two televisions yielded negative results. R/O responded and processed the scene. S/A was notified and will continue to investigate.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE - 1ST OFF 1:08:00 250731002542 R/O observed a vehicle with no running headlights traveling at a high rate of speed and changing lanes without using a signal in the 100 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. A traffic stop was subsequently conducted in the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NW. During the course of the stop, R/O detected a strong odor consistent with marijuana emanating from the vehicle and observed what appeared to be a lit blunt in the vehicle's center console. SFSTs were conducted. Due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE 17:09:00 250730002540 R/O responded to a report of a traffic crash at the 100 Block of Independence Avenue SE. When R/O arrived on scene, R/O observed two vehicles with damage on opposite sides of the road. When R/O made contact with driver of the vehicle, R/O smelt a odor consistent with marijuana and noticed that the Suspect's eyes were blood shot and glassy. SFST's were conducted by A/O. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 8:00:00 250730002531 R/O observed a vehicle traveling eastbound in the Unit Block of M Street SE with no rear tag displayed. A traffic stop was conducted at the same location. R/O approached the vehicle and was able to observe a temporary tag covered by a dark colored shield. A WALES/NCIC of the driver revealed no valid permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY 11:30:00 250729002519 R/O responded to a room in a Senate Office Building for a report of an active demonstration. Upon arrival, the Complainant told R/O the individuals were asked to leave the office but they refused to leave. R/O advised the Suspects to leave the premises but the individuals failed to comply. After several warnings were given, the Suspects were placed under arrest and transported to 67 K Street SW for processing.
THEFT SECOND DEGREE 17:20:00 250729002523 R/O was flagged down in the 100 Block of Maryland Avenue SW for a report of a stolen electric bicycle. The Complainant stated they parked and secured their bike to a bike rack at that same location approximately 1720 hours. When they returned approximately thirty minutes later, their bike was gone. A canvass of the area for the Suspect and bike was met with negative results and CIS was notified.
