NO PERMIT 21:19:00 250812002650 R/O observed a vehicle traveling eastbound in the Unit Block of K Street SE, displaying an expired registration. A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 Block of K Street SE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had no permit in the District of Columbia, with no status in Virginia, or Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
THREATS TO DO BODILY HARM 16:47:00 250812002646 R/O responded to the report of an individual making threats in a House Office Building. Upon arrival, R/O met with the Complainant who stated the Suspect was recently terminated. Once notified of the termination, the Suspect made threatening statements towards the Complainant. The Suspect was located and stopped at New Jersey Avenue and C Street SE. S/A responded and conducted an investigation. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
PPW-A (MISDEMEANOR) 0:11:00 250812002640 R/O observed an individual enter a door to a Library of Congress building and place their bag through the X-Ray machine. During the screening process, R/O noticed what appeared to be a pair of brass knuckles in the individuals bag. A physical inspection of the bag was conducted and confirmed brass knuckles were inside the individuals bag. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene.
THEFT (THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE PARTS OR ACCESSORIES) 15:03:00 250811002631 R/O was in the 200 Block of New Jersey Avenue NW when they were approached by a Complainant that wanted to report a theft. The Complainant stated they parked their vehicle on a lot at that same location on Friday, August 8. Upon returning to the vehicle on August 11, the Complainant noticed the front license plate was missing off the vehicle. A canvass of the immediate area was met with negative results.
THEFT (THEFT FROM BUILDING) 16:00:00 250811002638 R/O was in a House Office Building when the Complainant approached them and wanted to report a theft. The Complainant stated they placed their wallet in the locker room at the beginning of their work shift and when they returned at the end of their shift the wallet was gone. A canvass of the immediate area was met with negative results. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate.
NO PERMIT + LOANING REGISTRATION, MISUSE OF TEMPORARY TAGS 18:56:00 250811002639 R/O observed a vehicle with a non-functioning brake light traveling eastbound in the 100 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. A traffic stop was conducted in the 300 Block of Fourth Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle temporary tag revealed the tag belonged to a different vehicle. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed a suspended Virginia operators permit and no valid permit status in the District of Columbia or Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS + LOANING REGISTRATION, MISUSE OF TEMPORARY TAGS FAIL TO OBEY OFFICER RESISTING ARREST 17:19:00 250811002636 R/O observed a vehicle with no front tag at the intersection of First Street and New Jersey Avenue NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicles rear tag revealed the tag belonged to different vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of Columbus Circle NE. R/O noticed the driver exhibited signs of impairment. While conducting SFSTs, the driver refused to complete the tests. While R/O attempted to place the Suspect under arrest, the Suspect ran and ignored commands to stop. The Suspect was subsequently apprehended in the 600 Block of First Street NE. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 0:01:00 250811002624 R/O observed a vehicle make an illegal U-Turn in the Unit Block of Third Street SW. A traffic stop was subsequently initiated at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed their Virginia operator's permit was suspended and they had no permit status in the District of Columbia or Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
FAILURE TO APPEAR 11:48:00 250810002621 R/O-1 and R/O-2 observed an individual removing portions of a plant near the United States Botanic Garden Conservatory in the 100 Block of Maryland Avenue SW. A subject stop was subsequently initiated at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the individual revealed they were subject to an active bench warrant issued through the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. Once the warrant was confirmed by Communications, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE - 1ST OFF 2:36:00 250810002619 R/O observed a vehicle stopped in the Unit Block of D Street NW facing oncoming traffic. While speaking with the Suspect, R/O noticed slurred speech and initiated SFST's. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
