NO PERMIT 12:42:00 250529001787 R/O observed a traffic accident that occurred in the Unit Block of Third Street NW and responded to assist. During the course of the subsequent crash investigation, a WALES/NCIC check of the individual driving the striking vehicle revealed they had a suspended New York operator's permit and no permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 17:30:00 250529001791 R/O observed a vehicle with expired tags traveling in the 200 Block of Maryland Avenue NE. A traffic stop was subsequently conducted in the 100 Block of First Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed they had no permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
CARRYING A PISTOL WITHOUT A LICENSE 9:38:00 250526001763 R/O observed an individual submit to a voluntary administrative search upon entering a House Office Building. During the course of that search, R/O discovered a handgun loaded with a magazine containing seven (7) rounds of ammunition amongst the person's belongings. An inquiry through the Metropolitan Police Department's Gun Registry Unit revealed the individual did not possess a license to carry a firearm or ammunition in the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to the Headquarters for processing. CSS responded to process the scene. CIS were advised of the offense.
DEFACING PRIVATE/PUBLIC PROPERTY 12:41:00 250526001757 R/O responded to a report of vandalized property in the Unit Block of Constitution Avenue NE. The Complainant stated they parked their vehicle at that location at approximately 0950 hours and discovered it had been defaced with permanent marker upon returning at approximately 1230 hours. Once on scene, R/O observed words written on the driver's side front panel of the Complainant's vehicle. CSS responded to process the scene. CIS was advised of the offense and will continue to investigate.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE - 1ST OFFENSE + NO PERMIT 22:51:00 250524001750 R/O observed a vehicle displaying an expired registration sticker in the 100 Block of Constitution Avenue NW. A traffic stop was conducted at that location. When speaking with the Suspect, R/O smelled a strong odor of marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a suspended license in Maryland and no valid license in the District of Columbia or Virginia. SFSTs were conducted. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 16:38:00 250524001749 R/O observed a vehicle turn against a solid red traffic signal at the intersection of South Capitol Street and Washington Avenue SW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 300 Block of Washington Avenue SW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a suspended license in Virginia and no valid license in the District of Columbia or Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT + COUNTERFEIT TAGS 21:14:00 250522001734 R/O observed a vehicle bearing what appeared to be counterfeit temporary Maryland tags travelling in the 600 Block of North Capitol Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the tags revealed they were registered to a different vehicle as well as expired. A traffic stop was conducted in the 500 Block of North Capitol Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed they had no permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT + RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY 16:25:00 250522001728 R/O observed a vehicle matching the description of one known to bear stolen Maryland tags traveling in the Unit Block of Constitution Avenue NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the tags affixed to the vehicle confirmed they were registered to a different vehicle and reported as stolen out of Montgomery County, Maryland. A traffic stop was conducted in the 400 Block of C Street NE. During the course of the stop, the driver stated the vehicle was recently purchased and the tags came with it. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed they had a suspended Maryland operator's permit and no permit status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 21:17:00 250522001735 R/O observed a vehicle operating without running headlights travelling in the Unit Block of Louisiana Avenue NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the tags revealed a suspended registration. A traffic stop was conducted in the 400 Block of North Capitol Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed they had no valid permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRUG POSSESSION + NO PERMIT COUNTERFEIT TAGS 1:22:00 250522001709 R/O observed a vehicle with an inoperable brake light stopped at the traffic signal at the intersection of Third Street and Constitution Avenue NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle's temporary tag revealed the it was not registered. A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 Block of Third Street SW. Upon approaching the vehicle, R/O noticed the tag appeared to be counterfeit. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed they had no valid operators permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was subsequently placed under arrest. Upon conducting a search incident to arrest, several small bags containing a white powdery substance, which field tested positive for cocaine, were discovered amongst the Suspect's belongings. The Suspect was then transported to Headquarters for processing.
