NO PERMIT 20:10:00 260519001644 R/O observed a vehicle pass through a yellow light at the intersection of North Capitol and Massachusetts Avenue NW. Officer conducted a traffic stop in the Unit Block of D Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed no valid driving status in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 3:06:00 260519001629 R/O observed a vehicle driving southbound in the 1200 block of First Street SW with no headlights illuminated. A traffic stop was conducted in the 1300 block of First Street SW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was arrested and transported to Headquarters for processing.
POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL (POCA) 12:41:00 260518001618 R/O and A/O responded to the 300 Block of First Street SE for the report of an individual looking into multiple cars. R/O located the individual matching the description of the BOLO simulcasted by USCP Communications in the same location. Upon approach, R/O detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's breath. Additionally, R/O observed a plastic container filled with a yellowish liquid substance around the Suspect's neck. R/O removed the container from around the Suspect's neck and smelled a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the container. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE-1ST OFF, POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL - VEHICLE NO PERMIT 1:35:00 260518001612 R/O observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed in the 400 Block of South Capitol Street SW. R/O followed where they then observed the vehicle pass through a solid red light and continue onto the 200 Block of Independence Avenue SW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 300 Block of Independence Avenue SW. Upon approach, R/O recognized multiple signs of impairment such as the smell of an odor consistent with an alcoholic beverage emitting from the vehicle as well as bloodshot eyes. R/O also observed what appeared to be an open bottle of alcohol in the front cup holder. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a suspended driving status in Virginia and no driving status in the District of Columbia or Maryland. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO VALID PERMIT 8:43:00 260518001614 R/O observed a vehicle traveling westbound in the 100 Block of Constitution Avenue, NE with expired tags. R/O conducted a traffic stop at 50 Constitution Avenue NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed a suspended license in New York with no status in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. S1 was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE -2ND OFF 2:50:00 260517001608 R/O observed a vehicle fail to maintain its lane in the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue, NW. A traffic stop was conducted at the intersection of North Capitol Street and G Place, NW. Upon approach, the officer noticed an odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the Suspect's breath. The Suspect refused to perform field sobriety tests and had glassy, bloodshot eyes. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. The Suspect refused to provide a breath sample while being processed.
POSSESSION OF UNREGISTERED AMMUNITION 8:32:00 260517001609 R/O was working the X-Ray machine at the South Capitol Street door entrance of a House Office Building. The Suspect came through screening and placed his bag down. R/O noticed a magazine containing eight rounds of 9mm ammunition. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE-1ST OFF, NO PERMIT-2ND OFFENSE, RESISTING ARREST, POSSESSION OF AN OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL 2:35:00 260517001607 R/O observed a vehicle accelerate at a high rate of speed. R/O noticed his speedometer was at 35 mph in a 25 mph zone in the 100 Block of Third Street, NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 300 Block of Constitution Avenue, NW. R/O observed an open bottle of alcohol on the rear passenger-side floorboard. R/O could smell a moderate odor of alcohol emanating from the suspect's breath. A WALES/NCIC check of the suspect revealed the suspect's license was expired in the District of Columbia and showed no status in Maryland or Virginia. The suspect refused SFSTs. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. The suspect resisted while being placed in handcuffs and while being placed in the transport vehicle.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE, POSSESSION OF AN OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL 0:29:00 260516001593 R/O observed a vehicle with no rear lights running in the 200 Block of Third Street NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 300 Block of Pennsylvania Avenue NW. Upon approach, R/O detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the vehicle. R/O noticed the driver's eyes were bloodshot and watery and their speech was slurred. SFST's were administered and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. An inventory search of the vehicle revealed a plastic bottle with a liquid consistent with smell of an alcoholic beverage in the center console and a bottle of Tequila on the floorboard between the driver side seat and the center console.
USE OF UNIDENTIFIED VEHICLE, UNLAWFUL DISPLAY OF TAGS, NO PERMIT 17:58:00 260516001601 R/O observed a moped in the Unit Block of Columbus Circle NE commit multiple traffic infractions, including operating with no helmet, failure to display a license plate and passing through a solid red light. A traffic stop was conducted in the 900 Block of North Capitol Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect through USCP Communications revealed no driving status in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
