Upon further investigation, it was found that the Suspect did not possess a license to carry a pistol in the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded to process the scene. A .40 caliber handgun loaded with a 7-round magazine and 1 round in the chamber and a second magazine loaded with 7-rounds were recovered from the Suspect. CIS responded to HQ and conducted an interview of the Suspect. | |

R/O conducted a welfare check in the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. R/O asked the Suspect for their identification card several times and the Suspect failed to comply. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a misdemeanor bench warrant from Prince George's County, Maryland that was confirmed through USCP Communications. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. |
