DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE - FIRST OFFENSE + POSSESSION OF AN OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL - VEHICLE 2:53:00 250420001236 R/O responded to the report of a traffic accident at the intersection of Second Street NW and Massachusetts Avenue NW. The R/O observed two damaged vehicles with airbags deployed. The R/O approached the Suspect's vehicle and began to question them when he observed what appeared to be an open alcoholic container in the back seat. Due to the Suspect's eyes being bloodshot, watery, and glassy, SFSTs were administered. Due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was arrested and transported to Headquarters for processing. An inventory search of the vehicle revealed an open bottle containing an amber liquid with a smell consistent with alcohol.
NO PERMIT 17:17:00 250419001234 R/O observed a vehicle in the 100 Block of Independence Avenue SW displaying an expired rear tag. A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 Block of First Street SE. A WALES/NCIC check through USCP Communications revealed a suspended Virginia permit with no status in the District of Columbia or Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 17:57:00 250419001235 R/O observed a vehicle in the 200 Block of Maryland Avenue NE. A tag check through USCP Communications revealed an expired registration. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of Constitution Avenue NE. A WALES/NCIC check through USCP Communications revealed an expired permit out of the District of Columbia, with no driving status in Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
CARRYING A PISTOL WITHOUT A LICENSE (CPWL) + POSSESSION OF UNREGISTERED AMMUNITION POSSESSION OF UNREGISTERED FIREARM 8:38:00 250419001227 R/O while on post at South Screening of the Capitol Visitors Center, was approached by the Suspect who stated that they were carrying a firearm. A stop was conducted at this location. A/O arrived on scene, detained the Suspect, and recovered a firearm from an ankle holster on the Suspect's left ankle. The firearm was equipped with a six round capacity magazine. The magazine contained six rounds of .380 ammunition, with zero rounds in the chamber. A check through the District of Columbia Gun Registration Unit revealed the Suspect did not have a license to carry a firearm in the District of Columbia. CSS processed the scene. The Suspect arrested - transported to Headquarters for processing. CIS conducted a custodial interview.
NO PERMIT 17:55:00 250418001224 R/O observed a vehicle traveling eastbound in the Unit Block of Columbus Circle NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the tags revealed no return. A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a suspended license out of Missouri with no status in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. Suspect arrested. Transported to HQ for processing.
LEAVING AFTER COLLIDING - PROPERTY DAMAGE 13:15:00 250417001214 R/O responded to a report of a hit-and-run traffic accident near Second and C Streets NE. Upon arriving on scene, R/O discovered a vehicle with visible front-end damage. Per the Complainant, a white SUV struck their vehicle in the 200 Block of Second Street NE and subsequently fled the scene, which was corroborated by a nearby witness. Attempts to locate the striking vehicle yielded negative results. CSS processed the scene. CIS will continue to investigate.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE - FIRST OFFENCE 21:44:00 2.50416E+11 R/O observed a vehicle traveling southbound in the 600 Block of North Capitol Street displaying an expired registration sticker. A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. R/O detected a moderate odor of marijuana emitting from the Suspect. SFSTs were conducted. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest, and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 17:04:00 2.50416E+11 R/O observed a vehicle displaying expired tags traveling northbound in the 100 Block of Second Street NE. A traffic stop was conducted in the 300 Block of East Capitol Street SE. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 13:44:00 2.50416E+11 R/O observed a moped displaying no tags traveling eastbound in the Unit Block of Independence Avenue SE. A traffic stop was conducted at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT + FAIL TO EXHIBIT PERMIT LOANING REGISTRATION, MISUSE OF TEMPORARY TAGS 15:24:00 2.50416E+11 R/O was flagged down for a traffic crash in the 200 Block of Maryland Avenue NE. R/O asked for the Suspect's permit to which they responded they did not have one. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect confirmed no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. A WALES/NCIC check of the tags displayed on the Suspect's vehicle revealed no return on file. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
