The Complainant stated to the R/O that she heard a loud crash outside her house and came outside to find that her vehicle had sustained damage on the front driver's side panel and the rear driver's side fender. A Witness had also previously flagged down R/O-2 to report the incident and stated that he saw the Suspect vehicle strike a parked vehicle and sustain, "heavy damage to the front right side." The Witness also stated that the Suspect left the vehicle and ran southbound toward the 500 Block of Third Street SE. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect vehicle returned a valid registration and driver's license in Virginia for the vehicle's owner. CSS responded to process the scene and CIS has been notified for further investigation. | |
NO PERMIT | 16:14:00 | 250607001891 | R/O observed a vehicle pull through a solid red light at the intersection of First Street and Independence Avenue SW. RO conducted a traffic stop at the Unit Block of Independence Avenue SW. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had a suspended Maryland license with no permit status in Virginia or the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

Upon arrival, R/O made contact with the driver of the striking vehicle. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed an active warrant held by the District of Columbia Superior Court.
