NO PERMIT 2:51:00 260119000178 R/O observed a vehicle traveling northbound at a high rate of speed in the Third Street tunnel. R/O subsequently conducted a traffic stop in the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a suspended permit in Maryland and no valid status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 20:33:00 260118000175 R/O observed a vehicle traveling on a flat tire in the Unit Block of D Street NW. R/O subsequently conducted a traffic stop in the 100 Block of D Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a District of Columbia ID card only and no valid permit in Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 21:41:00 260118000177 R/O observed a vehicle traveling with an expired registration sticker at the intersection of North Capitol and E Streets NE. R/O subsequently conducted a traffic stop in the Unit Block of E Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a suspended permit in Maryland and no valid permit in the District of Columbia or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE + POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL 1:06:00 260118000174 R/O initiated a traffic stop in the 800 Block of North Capitol Street after witnessing a vehicle perform several traffic violations. Upon approach of the vehicle, RO observed multiple cans of what appeared to be alcoholic beverages hanging from the gear shifter of the vehicle. When the Suspect was asked to step out of the vehicle, RO could smell a moderate odor of alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's breath. During an inventory of the vehicle, several open containers of alcohol were found. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE 17:51:00 260117000172 R/O observed a vehicle traveling southbound in the 500 Block of North Capitol Street NW with an improperly displayed tag. A traffic stop was conducted in the 400 Block of North Capitol Street NW. While speaking with the driver, R/O detected a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
SIMPLE ASSAULT 17:50:00 260117000173 R/O responded to the intersection of Third and E Streets SW for reports of a physical altercation. When RO1 and A/O arrived on scene, the Suspect was seen by officers leaning into a vehicle pulling and grabbing the victim. RO1 and AO1 gave the Suspect multiple verbal commands to stop physically assaulting the Victim. The Suspect did not comply and continued to grab and pull the Victim. RO deployed a duty issued electronic control device and aimed it at the Suspect and continued to give verbal commands. The Suspect then complied and RO and AO1 separated the parties involved. CID was notified. With RO witnessing the physical assault, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE - 1ST OFFENSE + POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL 1:58:00 260117000164 R/O observed a vehicle traveling in the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NW without its headlights illuminated. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of G Street NE. As R/O approached the vehicle, the driver opened the drivers door and smoke consistent with the smell of marijuana billowed from inside the vehicle. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. While conducting an inventory search of the vehicle, R/O observed two marijuana cigarettes in the Suspect's purse and two half-full bottles of an alcoholic beverage.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE 17:51:00 260117000172 R/O observed a vehicle traveling southbound in the 500 Block of North Capitol Street NW with an improperly displayed tag. NO PERMIT 0:21:00 260117000162 R/O observed a vehicle traveling in the Unit Block of Canal Street SE with an expired temporary tag. A traffic stop was conducted in the 300 Block of Washington Avenue SW. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed a suspended Virginia drivers license and no driving status in the District of Columbia or Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
SIMPLE ASSAULT 17:20:00 260117000173 R/O responded to the intersection of Third and E Streets SW for reports of a physical altercation.
