Off Duty U.S. Capitol Police Officer Struck By Vehicle

On Saturday, June 21, 2008 at approximately 11:30 pm, off duty U.S. Capitol Police Officer Aidan Sims was struck by a vehicle on Kendleston Road in Glenn Dale, Maryland. The 22 year old officer is currently at Prince Georges County Hospital being treated for his injuries. He has been with the Department since July 2007 and is currently assigned to the Senate Division.  The driver of the vehicle is in the custody of the Prince Georges County Police Department.

The Sims Family extends their sincere appreciation to all for the constant support and encouragement they continue to receive during this difficult time.
