U.S. Capitol Police Charge 575 Individuals for Unlawfully Demonstrating in Hart Senate Office Building

On June 28, 2018, in the atrium of the Hart Senate Office Building, United States Capitol Police charged approximately 575 individuals with unlawfully demonstrating. They were charged with D.C. Code §22-1307, Crowding, Obstructing, or Incommoding. They were processed on the scene and released that evening.

Individuals who were charged and desire to pay their fines may do so at U.S. Capitol Police Headquarters, 119 D Street, NE, beginning 24 hours after their arrest. The Prisoner Processing Section is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
